The moment their eyes met, Su Wan was momentarily stunned.
Lu Xing was slightly taken aback; he hadn't expected Su Wan to see him.
Su Wan nodded slightly, turned around and continued working. She hadn't expected Lu Xing to come here.
She had already made things clear to him, so there was no point in arguing anymore.
What's more, there's a jealous person in the family.
She didn't want to be busy all day and then have to appease a jealous person when she got home.
Su Wan didn't finish her work until lunchtime.
The older women were almost excessively enthusiastic when they heard that Su Wan was honest and trustworthy in business.
Their fighting power was formidable, and Su Wan could barely hold on.
After everyone had left, Su Wan took out the lunchbox she had prepared that morning. Just as she was about to open it, a bowl of steaming noodles was handed to her from across the table.
Su Wan looked up and saw Lu Xing.
He looked at himself, his eyes full of expectation: "I just bought it. You must be tired after a long morning, have something hot to eat."
Su Wan silently put down the lunchbox in her hand and took it without hesitation.
Why are you here?
Lu Xing glanced at the small stool next to her. "Can I sit here?"
Su Wan nodded.
Lu Xing sat down, staring blankly ahead: "I heard it was here, so I came to take a look."
Su Wan did not respond.
She didn't know how to respond.
It seems like no matter how I respond, it's wrong.
After thinking for a moment, I sincerely said, "Thank you."
Lu Xing, grappling with his own abstinence, said with a hint of self-deprecation, "Su Wan, tell me, if I had been a little braver back then, would things have been different?"
At first!
It's too late to talk about the past now.
So there was no "back then".
Sincere affection only elicits disgust.
Su Wan had no intention of talking to him about the past and silently ate her noodles.
Lu Xing looked dejected. He was now in college, but he felt like a walking corpse, with Su Wan's image constantly on his mind.
He seems to be possessed.
Many female classmates at university showed interest in him.
But I don't like any of them.
He immerses himself in studying whenever he has free time.
His classmates all say he's a study fanatic, but only he knows the truth.
He often sits for an entire morning without being able to concentrate on a single word.
The more this happened, the more he forced himself to study and tried to minimize contact with others.
He knew he would run into trouble with Su Wan, but he still came.
Su Wan scoffed, "You really are..."
What's this?
Lu Xing laughed self-deprecatingly, "Yes, I am despicable, I think I am despicable too!"
Lu Xing turned his head, his dark eyes looking at Su Wan: "Su Wan, can we be ordinary friends?"
"The regular kind."
Perhaps fearing that Su Wan would disagree, Lu Xing repeated "ordinary friends" again.
Su Wan sighed softly; she didn't want any conflict with Lu Xing.
I don't want any connection with it.
But his request wasn't unreasonable.
Su Wan nodded.
Lu Xing smiled sincerely, "I understand, then I'll be going now."
Lu Xing got up and left.
Su Wan shook her head.
I really don't understand.
Su Wan was a little less busy in the afternoon than in the morning. When it was almost time, she packed up her stall and went home.
As soon as Su Wan stepped out of the market, she saw Qin Yi standing tall and elegantly beside the car, leaning casually against it, one hand in his pocket and the other smoking.
This attracted the attention of countless people.
It has to be said that Qin Yi is indeed quite attractive.
He has an outstanding appearance and a tall, upright figure.
Even after getting married, it didn't stop him from attracting women.
Just as Su Wan was about to step forward, she saw an older woman, about the same age as Han Hongmei, come up and greet Qin Yi.
"Young man, how old are you this year?"
Su Wan didn't hear what Qin Yi said, but she heard the older woman enthusiastically offering to introduce him to potential partners.
"My nephew is a college student, and he's very handsome..."
Su Wan observed Qin Yi's expression with a half-smile. If he dared to utter a single word of approval, she would make him regret it.
As if sensing someone's resentful gaze, Qin Yi turned around and saw Su Wan staring at him.
He stubbed out his cigarette and said apologetically to the woman, "I'm married, that's my wife."
After saying that, he took long strides and walked towards Su Wan.
The older woman glanced at it regretfully and murmured, "What a pity."
Qin Yi held Su Wan's small hand in his palm, knowing that she had seen and heard everything.
"I told you I have a wife, and I'm a model husband!"
Qin Yi made his firm stance clear.
He didn't want these things to affect their marital relationship or indirectly their married life.
Su Wan snorted and didn't say anything, letting him pull her into the car.
As soon as they got in the car, Qin Yi pulled her over and hugged her.
He then leaned down and kissed her earlobe, and Su Wan pinched him.
Is this outside, or outside the market?
Although it was getting dark and there were hardly any people around, the sky was already dark.
But in the past few days, many people in the market have seen her.
She also became familiar with the vendors around her.
If others see this, won't she have any shame?
But Su Wan's struggles were like a tickle.
Qin Yi easily restrained the man's hands.
He pulled the person into his arms, and their lips met.
After a long while, Su Wan, panting, huffed unhappily, "Why don't you go home?"
Qin Yi chuckled and whispered in her ear, "Let some people know not to overestimate themselves!"
Su Wan punched him lightly. "Are you threatening me or just trying to scare me?"
Qin Yi chuckled softly, "This humble one wouldn't dare."
Su Wan chuckled: "You really treasure it."
Qin Yi's breath sprayed onto her neck, and Su Wan unconsciously let out a soft hum.
