Chapter 16 Are You Scared?
Bai Wanjun threw the broken violin into the trash can, and then threw Shi Han's ordinary violin into the trash can as well. She looked at Shi Han who was still trying to argue, and said, "Don't learn the violin in the future. This is not suitable for you."
Shi Han stared blankly at the two violins in the trash can.
A QUEEN, an ordinary violin.
It seemed like she was highlighting Shi Yin and her position in Bai Wanjun's heart.
The song she had carefully prepared for a month seemed to be thrown into the trash can on her birthday.
From that day on, she never played the violin in front of the Shi family again.
Shi Han laughed at himself.
Heavy things and heavy events became blurred in her mind, but the hurt was still clearly remembered.
She even understood why she was so obsessed with family affection at that time.
Shi Han put the violin back into Shi Yin's arms and turned away.
She was wearing a light green nightgown that just reached her knees, exposing her fair and round calves. She was so perfect and beautiful that Shi Yin could hardly hide the jealousy welling up in her heart. She clenched the violin in her hands and looked at Shi Han.
Shi Han had been wandering outside alone for two years, so he must be better than her in everything.
She smiled, changing her timidity just now, and said with pride, "Sister, the famous violinist Kerry admires my violin very much. She will accept me as her apprentice in a month. Will you participate?"
Shi Yin looked at the half of the girl's face that had turned around, took two steps towards her, and added, "Sister, you have played the violin for a long time. You should know Maestro Klee. She has won awards in many international competitions. She is one of the few violin masters in China who can gain a foothold in the international arena."
"So what?" Shi Han turned around, leaned slightly towards her, and looked at her with his bright almond-shaped eyes.
So...should you envy me?
Shi Yin bit her lip hard and asked again: "Sister, will you come?"
"Give it here." Shi Han smiled and stretched out his hand.
"What?"
"Give you the answer."
Shi Han reached out and took the violin from Shi Yin's arms, placed it on his shoulder, and played the song that Shi Yin played at noon.
The same tune, but after a while, Shi Yin's rosy face began to turn pale.
She recalled the fear she felt two years ago when Shi Han surpassed her bit by bit. Everyone praised her for her talent in playing the violin, but only she knew that Shi Han was the real genius, a genius that she could never reach no matter how hard she tried.
After the song was over, Shi Han put the violin back, she lowered her head to Shi Yin's ear and whispered.
"Shiyin, you are just like that time, like a mouse hiding in the shadows."
Shi Yin's body froze, and her blood seemed to stop flowing. The two looked at each other, and all her schemes and tricks were exposed.
It turned out that she had known all along, and knew that she had broken the violin on purpose.
She just wanted to protect herself. She was afraid that after Shi Han became outstanding, her parents would abandon her, so she could only try every means to maintain her position at home.
Shi Han ignored Shi Yin's movements, pulled out the wet cloth on the piano table and wiped his fingers, "Are you sure you still want to invite me, Shi Yin?"
Shi Yin's face was one of defeat. Her lips moved but no words came out.
She was most proud of her attainments on the violin. She studied hard every day, thinking that she could easily defeat Shi Han now. However, she did not expect that all her pride would be shattered by Shi Han.
I didn't know when Shi Han left, Bai Wanjun came in with a cup of hot milk.
"Yinyin, it's so late, why are you still practicing the violin? Drink your milk and go to bed quickly."
Shi Yin woke up with a pale face, "I was afraid that something would go wrong and I would embarrass the teacher."
"What are you throwing?" Bai Wanjun gently put her arm around Shi Yin's shoulders. "Mom heard your violin playing in the room just now. You have improved a lot since noon. Master Kerry is right. You are very talented in violin."
Her praise hit Shi Yin hard in the face like a slap in the face.
