Out of professional habit, I rushed out anyway, but the smoke in the corridor grew thicker and thicker, so thick that I could no longer see the terrain.
He quickly turned back and shouted, "Fire! Run downstairs now, or we'll all be dead!"
One after another, everyone ran out of the room, ready to go downstairs.
"Where is Coulson? Why do you say something happened to him?"
"Did he start this fire?"
Yan Miao was completely puzzled.
Coulson is an enhanced ability user. Even if he caused damage to the house after waking up, it shouldn't have burned the whole house down!

It's like a ghost story!
The lights in the whole room started flickering, and then with a "click," they all went out!
The thick smoke inside the room dissipated completely, and everyone could clearly see the scene inside through the light from the corridor windows.
A bolt of lightning struck straight at Coulson on the bed!
"No--"
Mia closed her eyes in despair.
At the critical moment, a thick, agile vine darted out first, pulling Coulson out.
"Don't worry, even lightning can't hurt him."
Yan Miao offered words of comfort.
"He has... awakened other superpowers."
Zhu Lan leaned forward and whispered something.
Yan Miao carefully observed the traces left in the entire room.
There were traces of water that had soaked through the floor after the ice melted; there were also traces of blackened walls after the fire was extinguished; and the devastating lightning bolt had even smashed the headboard to pieces!
"I don't think it's like they've awakened some other superpower."
"As far as I know, no one has ever possessed two superpowers. His situation is probably that his superpowers are unstable, or rather, his body has not yet determined which superpower will be his ultimate superpower."
"This is the first time I've encountered this situation. It seems there are too many unstable factors in the experiment. Stopping the experiment back then was the right choice."
Yan Miao explained.
Just as she was about to use her wood-based powers to heal Coulson, she was surprised to discover—
A tender green sprout actually sprouted from his finger!

The dark walls were covered by lush greenery, and the lightning outside stopped for a moment, making the whole room feel like a forest.

"Old Shen, aliens are about to invade Earth, and you still have the nerve to tell me to shut up!"
He nimbly broke free and looked at his old friend suspiciously. "You're not an alien in disguise, are you?"
The events that just happened were so shocking that he's now paranoid, feeling like he's the only Earthling in the room and everyone else is an alien!
Left with no other option, Chief Shen knocked him unconscious with a single chop, then hoisted him onto his shoulder and carried him away.
They just happened to run into the police reinforcements!
Leading the way were the squad leaders who had just arrived; they were armed with pistols and carried shields.
Behind them were the police officers who had been thrown out earlier.
When they saw their chief collapse, they instantly tensed up, placing their hands on their pistols. "Sir, what happened?"
