Grandpa Jian flicked his sleeve and glanced at him. "I will take Chun Chun back to the Jian family to take care of her. She is my only granddaughter. If you ruin her again, how will you compensate me?"
"Both of your lives combined aren't worth as much as my granddaughter!"
That tone indicated that she harbored resentment towards the couple!
Xie Boxian didn't notice anything unusual, but when he heard that he was going to take Jian Chun Chun back to the Jian family, his heart skipped a beat.
Her smile froze. "Dad, you're too old, how can this be?"
“Such a simple matter requires a lot of mental and physical effort, and the treatment time is very long. I don’t want to trouble you with this.”
"Stop saying those useless things. I wouldn't feel at ease leaving Chun Chun in your care as a couple."
"It's settled then, your objections are useless! After she's discharged from the hospital, she'll go back to the Jian family home. I'll find her the most professional doctors to treat her cancer, and we won't miss a single opportunity!"
Grandpa Jian was too lazy to listen to his polite words and interrupted him without any courtesy.

Xie Bo gritted his teeth and smiled, trying to appear relaxed.
Jian Suyi didn't miss the displeasure in his eyes. If she hadn't been wary of him and kept staring at him, who would have noticed?
He always presented himself as a good man who doted on his children, loved his wife, and respected his father-in-law. Who would have thought that he would secretly try to poison his own daughter!
Even if Chun Chun isn't his biological daughter, he's still the one who lied to himself!

Before Secretary Jin could answer, Xie Boxian strode into the room.

However, Xie Bo didn't even glance at her and went straight into his study.
When he unlocked the study door and saw that none of the experimental crystals on the table were missing, and their positions hadn't been moved, his heart finally settled.

Only a desk lamp was lit in the study, and Xie Boxian sat motionless on the sofa.

"I can certainly produce this, but—"
"Name your terms, but I need it tonight. Same place as always, and I want you to deliver it to me personally!"
"Once it's done, I'll grant you one more request!"

Loud music from the bar leaked out from through the door.
Just standing outside the door, the noise was deafening!
Chief Shen couldn't help but pick at his ear, and disgustedly pulled off the baseball jersey, baseball cap, and large gold chain that Yan Miao had forcibly put on him.
"What are they wearing?"
He complained in a low voice.
"Let's be patient for now; everything is for the mission."
Yan Miao glanced back, then turned towards the door and showed the ticket inspector the information about the private room he had booked.
When the man first saw this old man and young boy, his eyes widened like eggs!
The woman is young and beautiful, but the man is a mismatched pair, trying to look like a young man despite his age.
The ticket inspector's face was full of amusement. When he saw that Yan Miao had booked the most expensive private room, he immediately put on a fawning expression. "Miss, boss, please come in. You have ordered the Black Gold Room 2. Please wait a moment, and a bartender will take you there in a bit."
"Please feel free to contact us if you need anything!"
Yan Miao didn't even glance at him, tossing her hair as she walked in on her high heels.
