Chapter 30 Gift
Gu Moci had no idea what Ye Nuan had been through. He sat at his desk, staring at the computer screen. What was on the screen was not the work contract, but a list of gifts he had collected for girls over the past few days. He wanted to make up for all the birthday gifts Ye Nuan had missed in the past twenty years.
He had given birthday gifts to his sisters before, but he would just ask them directly what they wanted, and he would act as an ATM and pay the bill.
For this gift, he first selected some, and then asked his assistant to go to the mall to take pictures of the actual items for him. If he found something that he thought was suitable and satisfactory, he would go and choose the style himself.
After careful selection, he only picked out twenty pieces, and there were still five that Gu Moci was not satisfied with.

But thinking of her grandmother, Mother Gu, and the look in Gu Mucha's eyes when she looked at her, she felt a warm feeling in her heart and nodded at Gu Mochen, "Okay, I'll finish it right away." Then, she quickly finished her steamed bun with shredded radish and started drinking millet porridge, without paying any attention to Gu Mochen's expression.
Lu Ming pulled him aside and said, "I heard from the head nurse who came to train with Ye Nuan that Ye Nuan might have stomach problems, and she's used to eating these."
If Ye Nuan heard what Lu Ming said, she would nod frantically. A few days ago, she went to Gu's house and had two meals. The next day, her stomach felt like it was on fire. She had to take stomach medicine immediately before she realized that she had eaten too much greasy food all at once and her stomach couldn't handle it.
Gu Mochen was stunned for a moment, about to say something when he saw Ye Nuan had already finished her porridge and cleared the tableware. The three of them walked out of the restaurant together. After saying goodbye to Lu Ming, they went to the office to get Ye Nuan's things. Gu Mochen then led Ye Nuan to the underground parking lot. He didn't know what Ye Nuan was thinking, but for Gu Mochen, the silence between them seemed a bit awkward.
