After the three finished their meal.
Han Yan looked up at the girl opposite him and said softly, "Where are we going later? Do you want me to give you a ride?"
Shi Miao lowered her eyelids, her pale fingers tapping on her phone screen, and said in a rather indifferent tone, "No need, someone is picking me up."
A hint of disappointment flashed in Han Yan's eyes upon hearing this, and he pursed his lips. "How many days are you staying in the capital this time?"
Shi Miao put away her phone, raised her clear eyes to look at him, and said, "I'm leaving today."
"So where are you going to school now?"
"H City No.1 Middle School".
Han Yan's eyes flickered slightly. "Okay, I understand."
Shi Miao stood up, picked up the baseball cap beside her and put it on, lifted the corner of her eye and said lazily, "Okay, I'm leaving now."
Han Yan nodded, a smile in his eyes, and said, "Okay, see you next time."
Leap: "Goodbye, Master!"

The Qin family's old residence.
Huo Shu opened her eyes and looked at the girl who walked in from the door, saying softly, "Mingyue, you're back. How did the interview go?"
Qin Mingyue carried her bag to the living room sofa and sat down, her eyes filled with suppressed annoyance: "Mom, I still chose the physics major."
Huo Shu's eyes flashed with slight surprise upon hearing this, and she asked in confusion, "Why are you changing your mind like this? Why aren't you choosing computer science anymore?"
Qin Mingyue lowered her eyelids, her fingertips swiping across the phone screen. "I still think physics is better."
Huo Shu picked up her teacup and skimmed off the foam. "Alright, I was originally thinking you should choose physics, since your uncle can look after you. So, what about minoring in it?"
Qin Mingyue: "Music Department".
Huo Shu lowered her head and took a sip of tea, her eyes flickering slightly. "Music Department? I remember your uncle Qin Chu's wife, Gu Wanqing, is a teacher in the Music Department at Tsinghua University."
Qin Mingyue pursed her lips, her interest waning: "Well, she represented the music department during the interview."
Huo Shu: "And she's also the president of the piano association. Did she say she would personally mentor you?"
Qin Mingyue tightened her grip on her phone and replied calmly, "No."
Huo Shu frowned slightly, stood up and sat down next to her. "We don't usually have any contact with your uncle's family, and your grandfather doesn't like him either, so it's normal that Gu Wanqing doesn't take you with her. But why didn't you choose computer science as your minor?"
"Oh, Mom, I've always loved playing the piano since I was little." Qin Mingyue suppressed her impatience, picked up her phone, and was about to get up. "Mom, I'm going back to my room now."
"You've been acting strange lately, getting impatient after just a few words. What happened? If you don't tell me, I'll ask your brother." Huo Shu reached out and grabbed her.
Qin Mingyue was silent for a few seconds, then slumped on the sofa like a deflated balloon. "I just don't want to be in the same department as someone I hate."
Huo Shu reached out and smoothed her hair. "Who is it?"
Qin Mingyue pouted: "It's that girl who got a perfect score on Tsinghua University's independent admissions exam this time. My uncle really adores her."
Huo Shu: "I think I heard your uncle mention her, but why do you dislike her?"
Qin Mingyue's almond-shaped eyes flickered, she turned her head away, and said coldly, "My brother has scolded me repeatedly because of her."
Huo Shu's eyes flickered slightly, and she suddenly realized something, asking, "So, the vixen you mentioned last time is her? Your brother went to H City because of her?"
Qin Mingyue lowered her head and gave a faint "hmm".
"What are you two whispering about?" Old Master Qin walked in, leaning on his cane, and sat down opposite them.
Qin Mingyue looked up at the old man opposite her and said respectfully, "Grandpa."
Huo Shu coughed and said, "Dad, it's all because of that kid Qin Xiao. He was transferred to H City just for a girl."
Upon hearing this, Old Master Qin frowned. "This kid has always loved to play. What's the big deal?"
Huo Shu: "That's true, but he even yelled at Mingyue because of that girl. The key point is that the girl also got into Tsinghua University, and Mingyue even chose the physics department to avoid being in the same department as her."
A hint of surprise flashed in Old Master Qin's eyes, and he said in a deep voice, "Call him back and ask him."
Huo Shu nodded: "Okay."

The following day, H City No. 1 Middle School.
Ji Sinian casually slung his schoolbag over his shoulder and slowly walked in through the back door.
He yawned, pulled out a chair and sat down. "Good morning, Sister Miao. You're here earlier than me today."
Shi Miao glanced at him lazily and said slowly, "Good morning."
Ji Sinian took the test paper out of his bag. "How did the interview go yesterday?"
Shi Miao lowered her delicate eyebrows and eyes, scrolling through her phone, and casually said, "It's fine."
She picked up the candy on the table, tore open the wrapper, and put it in her mouth. Suddenly remembering something, she continued, "Lu Hansheng told me yesterday that he wants to study finance."
Upon hearing this, Ji Sinian's eyes flashed with slight surprise. He put down his pen, turned around, and said, "Really? Didn't he say he wanted to choose computer science?"
Shi Miao slightly raised her bright, cold black eyes, raising one eyebrow. "They said it was an arrangement from my family."
Ji Sinian crossed his arms and pondered, "That's true. He'll definitely be taking over the Lu family business in the future, so how could we let him go to the computer science department?"
Shi Miao didn't speak. Her long, slender, pale hand lazily propped up her head as she picked up a pen and began writing the arrangement that she had been putting off for more than half a year.

A private clinic in M state.
"What happened to you? You've only just gotten back and you're already in such a mess." Song Ran leaned against the table, a cigarette between her fingers, and looked up at Qin Chu sitting on the sofa.
"I was careless. I didn't expect Shi Jing's daughter to be so capable." Qin Chu tugged at the wound at the corner of his mouth, concealing the coldness in his eyes, and leaned back on the sofa to take a drag of his cigarette.
Song Ran casually toyed with the cigarette between her fingers, her eyebrows slightly raised. "What do you mean?"
“She has her own influence in M continent, but I haven’t found out which organization it is yet. Also, there was another group of people at the airport that day, they were from the King organization.” Qin Chu’s eyes were dark, his thin lips were pressed into a line, and his jawline was tense.
Upon hearing this, Song Ran's eyes filled with deep surprise, "How did you get involved with the King organization?"
"I don't know either." Qin Chu's voice was still deep, and one could hear the suppressed anxiety in it.
He rubbed his temples, feeling a bit of a headache, and then recalled what happened at the airport that day. His eyes flickered slightly. Could the King organization be related to Ji Yanchen?
Song Ran frowned, her eyes half-closed. "Then why would she suddenly let you go?"
Qin Chu's eyes seemed to be covered with a layer of frost, and he said in a slightly hoarse voice, "I bet she wouldn't kill me, so I didn't give in. Although she let me go, she must have eyes watching me in the dark."
Song Ran raised his hand, took the cigarette between his fingers, and asked in a deep voice, "So what are you going to do now?"
Qin Chu lowered his eyes, concealing the darkness beneath them. "I plan to return to the capital."
Song Ran frowned. "What can you do if you go back now?"
Qin Chu stubbed out his cigarette and rubbed his temples. "I always feel that staying in the capital is safer than in M Continent."
Song Ran picked up the lighter on the table, bent down and lit the cigarette, "I'm afraid the Qin family already knows you're an imposter."
Qin Chu clicked his tongue. "I don't even care about the Qin family. I have my own ways of dealing with them."
Song Ran took a drag of his cigarette and said calmly, "Does Shi Miao think he can easily let you leave M Continent?"
Qin Chu stood up and patted off non-existent cigarette ash from his clothes. "She's probably hoping I'll do something right now."
Song Ran raised her chin slightly. "Fine, you can handle it yourself."
