After Ji Yanchen and Ye Chuan left, Qin Mingyue looked up at Xie Sizhou at the card table and asked, "What were they rushing off to do?"
"Why are you so concerned about them?" Qin Xiao stood up and patted off non-existent cigarette ash from his clothes.
Qin Mingyue's face stiffened, her eyes flickered slightly, and she said softly, "I was just asking out of curiosity."
"Is that so?" Qin Xiao walked over and sat down opposite her, raising an eyebrow. He looked rather lazy, yet his sharp gaze swept over her.
"Old Qin, why are you being so fierce to your sister?" Xie Sizhou asked, completely bewildered.
Qin Xiao snorted coldly, "You think I don't know what you're thinking?"
Qin Mingyue pursed her lips, turned her head away, and said coldly, "That's none of your business."
"If you want to die, you should have said so earlier. Who do you think Ji Yanchen is?"
"No, what does Brother Guan Chen mean by this?" Xie Sizhou frowned and sat down to the side.
Qin Xiao's slender fingers curled slightly as he gently tapped on the sofa armrest. "She likes Ji Yanchen."
