Can Chapter 50, which is plagiarized, still get full marks?

Soon the day of the piano composition competition arrived, and before leaving, William was still sending messages to confirm whether Shi Miao was going.

Annoyed by his noise, Shi Miao turned around and locked him in the dark room.

After leaving the airport, Shi Miao hailed a taxi on the roadside and went to the Beijing Grand Theatre.

Five minutes before the start of the competition, Shi Miao calmly entered the theater with the judge's pass that William had sent her.

The audience was already packed. Shi Miao walked to the judges' table in the front row. There were four judges in total, and three of them were already seated. Because the lighting was dim, Gu Wanqing was talking to the person next to her with her head down, and Shi Miao didn't notice her at first.

After she sat down, a surprised exclamation came from beside her, "Shi Miao, are you the person William sent?"

Upon hearing this, Shi Miao turned her head slightly and, upon seeing that it was Gu Wanqing, her eyes flickered slightly. "Hmm, what a coincidence."

A hint of joy flashed in Gu Wanqing's eyes as she smiled and said, "I didn't expect to see you so soon. Why didn't you tell me you were coming? Let's have dinner together after this is over."

Shi Miao nodded. "Okay."

The other two judges couldn't believe that the person William sent was so young after they saw Shi Miao's face clearly.

...

The competition began, and Gu Yanxin was the first to take the stage.

After Gu Yanxin lifted her skirt and stepped onto the stage, she glanced at the judges' panel and felt much more at ease upon seeing Gu Wanqing. However, the person to Gu Wanqing's right, wearing a hat and only showing the lower half of their face, looked strangely familiar. Without time to think further, Gu Yanxin walked to the center of the stage where the piano was placed and sat down.

Shi Miao wasn't interested in this kind of competition to begin with, but she never expected to see Gu Yanxin here. She really is an unkillable cockroach.

On stage, Gu Yanxin had already begun playing her piece. Shi Miao clicked her tongue, propped her head up with her hand, and looked at the person on stage with amusement. She hadn't expected Gu Yanxin to be so shameless, still stubbornly copying her piece.

After the performance, it was the judges' turn to score.

The first two judges gave a perfect score of 100, while Gu Wanqing gave 98 points.

When it was Shi Miao's turn, she casually raised the scoring board in her hand, which had a big zero on it.

The audience gasped, and even the host was stunned, unsure what to say.

The moment Gu Yanxin saw Shi Miao raise her face, her expression turned deathly pale, and her hand holding the microphone trembled involuntarily. Why was Shi Miao a judge? She was going crazy. What was going on? Why was Shi Miao haunting her? Why did she keep appearing everywhere?!

Gu Yanxin bit her lip tightly, her heart pounding wildly, as if it were about to leap out of her throat...

Seeing this, Gu Wanqing picked up the microphone to save the day, "Could you explain why you gave it a score of 0?"

"Hmm, can someone who plagiarizes get full marks?" Shi Miao rested her chin on her hand, looking at Gu Yanxin with a half-smile.

The other judges were surprised upon hearing this and hesitated for a moment.

"What evidence can prove it?" Gu Wanqing frowned, still unwilling to believe that Gu Yanxin had plagiarized, after all, she was her own niece.

"Yes, it copied mine," Shi Miao said lazily, arms crossed.

"Shi Miao!" Gu Yanxin on the stage finally couldn't help but interrupt her, looking at Shi Miao with pleading eyes.

"Gu Yanxin, did you plagiarize or not?" Gu Wanqing asked coldly, her expression already giving her a premonition that it was probably true.

"No, Auntie, I...I..." Gu Yanxin's eyes flickered, and she was so anxious that she almost bit her lip until it bled, but she had no way to defend herself, because Shi Miao could crush her to death if she released the evidence on her phone.

"That's enough. You're disqualified from the competition and banned from participating in any music competitions in the future." Gu Wanqing pinched the bridge of her nose, her eyes full of disappointment.

Gu Wanqing is the president of the Piano Association. With her saying this, Gu Yanxin's path in music is completely blocked.

"Auntie!" Gu Yanxin's eyes widened in disbelief. Before she could say anything more, she was already led away by the staff.

The host wiped the sweat from his brow and quickly tried to smooth things over, saying, "Sorry for taking up so much of your time, the competition will continue."

...

After the competition ended smoothly, Gu Wanqing took Shi Miao's hand and said apologetically, "I'm really sorry about today. I didn't expect this to happen. Can I listen to your arrangement?"

Shi Miao raised an eyebrow, then casually grasped her wrist and took her pulse without making a sound. "Okay."

"Let's go eat now," Gu Wanqing said with a smile.

"Hmm." Shi Miao's eyes flickered slightly. Gu Wanqing's body was perfectly fine. Excluding the possibility that she didn't want the child, then Qin Chu must have a problem...
