Si Yu, with his eyes lowered, heard the sound and looked over at the same time as Lin Changli.
Zhang San touched his nose and stepped forward, saying to the somewhat bewildered man, "Sorry, brother, just bear with it."
The attack was incredibly fast. Just as Si Zhengguo was about to ask who they were, a crisp cracking sound rang out, and the knee joint broke.
As a doctor, Zhang San knew very well that, barring any unforeseen circumstances, this guy would be using crutches for the rest of his life...
"Ah!" the man screamed, clutching his leg. "Help! Help! Who are you? How did you get in?"
A large group of soldiers rushed in, but seeing the situation, none of them dared to step forward.
Kong Sang scoffed, "You don't even know who I am? Your brain is only fit to be a savage in the mountains. Why go back to the Si family and embarrass yourself? Wouldn't it be better to die out there?"
"You slut, you..."
Kong Sang interrupted coldly: "Slap yourself."
Zhang San stared speechlessly at the idiot who couldn't tell right from wrong. He was a good doctor; couldn't he please stop making him play the villain all the time?
A powerful blow landed on Si Zhengguo's lap, his mouth filled with blood. Finally, trembling with fear, he cried out, "You... my father is Si..."
"Fool, of course I know your father is Old Master Si. So what? You bumped into me, Nie Kongsang, while walking in the capital. Breaking your leg is already a stroke of luck for you."
"Old Master Si is better off picking up trash on the street than having a son like you. You're rude, behave inappropriately, and are nothing but garbage. Why are you alive? Don't you feel disgusted with yourself?"
"Zhang San, strip him of his clothes and throw him into the street. Let him see if even the beggars in Chenxiguan are better than him. I really don't understand what trash has to be proud of?"
Zhang San sighed and resignedly helped up the man who had been hit hard by a series of words and was beginning to doubt himself.
"Brother, I'm not trying to be mean, but Miss is being blunt. You'll see if you stay at a beggar's place for a night. Someone like you can't even get enough food by begging."
They dragged the person away manually and went outside to strip them naked.
The captain who had led the way looked grim: "Miss Nie...this is a member of the Si family, you..."
"What are you pretending for? You all beat up the Si family members just the same way. I, Nie Kongsang, am willing to take responsibility for my own actions. What will you do without someone backing you up?"
The captain composed himself and said, "Miss Nie must have something to say to you two. I'll go outside and cut off the listening device."
They're all smart people. Miss Nie is someone a captain like him can't afford to offend, so it's normal for her attitude to change.
Kicking open the door to the cell, Kong Sang helped Si Yu up from the ground.
"Why would a perfectly good person do something so stupid? If you want your parents' love, it's very simple: break their limbs so that they can only rely on you for food and clothing, and then they will naturally have your parents' love."
Si Yu stared intently at Kong Sang, while Lin Changli next door clapped his hands: "Great idea!"
Kong Sang glanced at the person opposite him before continuing to spout his toxic motivational rhetoric: "Some things require a different perspective to work. For example, if you really want something but someone else takes it, you can't fight for it."
"If you say that whoever touches this thing will die, and secretly conduct some experiments and predictions, then no one will want to steal it."
Lin Changli, the straight man, chimed in, "Brilliant!"
Kong Sang still ignored him and continued talking to Si Yu: "Just like your parents, they hate you so much. Think about it from their perspective, how important are you in their lives?"
"You need to take over the Si family and increase their share of the family's wealth. That way, you'll be their whole world, every day, every month, every year. You'll be very happy then."
Si Yu continued to stare, while Lin Changli continued to praise: "Truly wonderful!"
A slender hand gripped Si Yu's chin and lifted him up, saying with a playful tone, "Don't think I'm a pervert. Actually, you've been twisted long ago too, you're just pretending to be a normal person."
"You really have a very sound moral compass. Just now when I broke your dad's leg, you spoke up to stop me instead of just watching. Si Yu, don't you like me?"
"Then your liking needs to be backed by something for me to notice, otherwise... what do you have to compare with Lin Changli?"
A dark light began to gather in Si Yu's eyes.
The next second, the woman next to him was pinned against the wall, and another man kissed her passionately, while the cell separating them remained completely undamaged.
"Sangsang, I really don't want to make you angry, but you always make me lose control."
Kongsang smiled radiantly.
Si Yu's arm was already striking towards Lin Changli, and the two clashed again.
Kong Sang was quite pleased; one's ambition had been fully unleashed, and the other was now being kept in check. This trip had not been in vain.
The two parted ways after exchanging blows, as this was not the place to fight.
Lin Changli looked at Kong Sang standing behind Si Yu with a wronged expression: "Sang Sang, you're making me regret it, regret not forcing myself on you that night. Come here, okay?"
Kong Sang's lips twitched: "Get lost, you won't have another chance."
"I don't have time to talk to you about this. I don't know what Mr. Si's arrangements are, but there's definitely no time for tomorrow's court hearing. I've found some helpers. Just keep insisting that you came with me."
Si Yu turned around and said worriedly, "Are you going to expose that shipment? You mustn't..."
Kong Sang waved her hand to interrupt, then reached out and wiped the blood from Si Yu's mouth: "If I'm going to help, then I must have a way. It won't hurt me. You're grateful. I'll be going now."
As Kong Sang left, Lin Changli said in a low voice, "Sang Sang, are you going to find someone else to hang yourself?"
Kong Sang continued walking, leaving behind the words, "Guess!"
No sooner had Si Yu stepped out of the confinement cell than he was struck hard, vomiting blood on the spot.
He straightened up against the wall and looked at the man whose face was normal but whose eyes were cold, and laughed: "Lin Changli, you've finally met your match. Now that I've taken your place, you'd better keep quiet."
Si Yu's expression turned cold, and he retaliated, destroying the confinement cell in moments. The soldiers who came down looked terrified...
Kong Sang felt relieved and was in a good mood, so he ate half a bowl more than usual for dinner.
Not long after the meal, my phone rang. I glanced at the caller ID and saw that Jinghe William was right on time.
Resigned, he got up to pick up the person. After all, he had asked someone to do something, so he couldn't treat them like a dog.
Just like the first time I saw him, he left a deep impression. His tall stature and mixed-race features made him the center of attention wherever he went.
"Miss Nie, it's really nice to see you one last time before you go back to China."
Whether intentionally or not, Kyo and William straightened their tie, revealing the bite marks on their wrists.
Kong Sang looked slightly awkward, but still dared to say, "Sorry, you can bite back if you're angry. I need your help."
Jinghe William's dark eyes fixed on the striking face before him, and he reached out to grasp Kongsang's wrist: "Can you really bite back?"
Holy crap, can't this guy tell it's just polite talk? Does he have no manners at all?
Despite Kong Sang's attempt to pull his hand away, it still reached Jinghe William's lips. There was no pain as expected; instead, he gave a light, fleeting kiss.
"Miss Nie, may I call you Sang?"
