Lan Zheyuan was filled with rage, but he could only humbly beg Huang Yi for forgiveness.
"Director Huang, I was confused for a moment. When I learned your wife was seriously ill, I contacted a foreign hospital and took her abroad for treatment without your consent. I caused you to worry and fear for so long. I'm sorry, I won't dare to do that again. Please forgive me!"
Huang Yi was so angry he had nowhere to vent his anger. He suddenly sat up, pointed his finger at Lan Zheyuan's nose and started swearing, "Is saying sorry any use? You sound so righteous now, but who knows what you were thinking back then?"
"If anything happens to my wife, you'll go to jail!"

Lan Zheyuan has learned from Lan Zhetao that Huang Yi’s wife has been taken away by Qin Haotian’s people. Doesn’t Huang Yi know this?

Su Mu has been standing up for Gu Siyu ever since he knew her identity, and now he feels his eyes twitching even more when he sees this scene.
"Are you guys here to put on a show? How can you be so affectionate like brother and sister? I think you're more like a young couple."
