Chapter 8 Lingyue Valley

A sharp bamboo branch flew through the air, and Yun Wanwan was pulled away by Rong Chengxuan, leaving only a red mark on her cheek.

Immediately afterwards, a blanket of bamboo branches flew towards the two of them.

Rong Chengxuan moved quickly, and in just a moment, a lot of bamboo branches appeared around the two of them.

However, the bamboo branch showed no sign of stopping, and even a god could not resist it completely. Yun Wanwan gritted her teeth and pulled out the silver hairpin on her head.

The silver hairpin was sharp, leaving a bloody mark when it scratched across her wrist. Yun Wanwan exerted a little force, and blood immediately gushed out of her arm.

Drops of blood flowed down, but Yun Wanwan didn't care. Instead, she stretched out her finger, dipped it in the blood, and drew a talisman in the air.

The magical thing was that the drawn blood did not fall down, but floated in the air. After the entire talisman was completed, Yun Wanwan pushed it in the air, and the blood talisman was immediately imprinted on the bamboo branch at the exit.

The talisman drawn with blood is already the most powerful talisman. Until now, Yun Wanwan has not seen anyone who can break the blood curse.

Sure enough, the exit of the bamboo branch slowly opened, and Yun Wanwan immediately pulled Rong Chengxuan out. Because of the previous deduction, they quickly determined the new way out and ran in quickly.

After running furiously, Yun Wanwan finally stopped and panted, "It's okay now. Let me bandage the wound first."

Just now she was afraid that if she walked too slowly, the path to her life would change again, so she ignored her bleeding arm along the way.

After bandaging her arm, Yun Wanwan finally had the leisure to look around.

This seems to be a valley, with the sounds of birds singing and cicadas chirping everywhere, and it is quite beautiful to look at.

Rong Chengxuan noticed her gaze and explained, "This is Lingyue Valley."

"Lingyue Valley?" Yun Wanwan looked at it and scratched her head. "I haven't heard of this Lingyue Valley before. What kind of place is it?"

Rong Chengxuan sighed, as if he was reluctant to mention it. "You could say it's my master's sect. I was abandoned... and ended up here. But this place uses living people to practice martial arts, and my sister left here."

A few simple words concealed the inhuman days in Lingyue Valley.

After they were abandoned, the brother and sister came here soon, thinking they had a place to settle down. However, they didn't know that Lingyue Valley was not a good place. The reason they brought the brother and sister here was just to make pills.

Rong Chengxuan was still too young at that time and watched his sister leave the world with his own eyes. If he hadn't been smart, he probably wouldn't be alive today.

Yun Wanwan knew that Princess Jiuli Rong Yaya was Rong Chengxuan's sister. No wonder Rong Chengxuan always carried a bone powder pendant with him. It must have belonged to Rong Yaya, right?

Rong Chengxuan was probably not very old at that time. He had been enduring such things since he was a child. No wonder he always had a cold face.

Yun Wanwan pursed her lips, trying to comfort him, "Your Highness..."

Rong Chengxuan seemed to know what she was going to say. He never needed comfort from others, so he interrupted, "But this Lingyue Valley is not completely useless. At least it allowed me to learn some metaphysical skills."

"So Your Highness didn't use your own method?"

Rong Chengxuan nodded, "Indeed, this formation is very strange, and Lingyue Valley's method of breaking it is also very unique, so they must have been able to tell that it was me who broke it. I came here for revenge. If they knew in advance that it was me who broke it, they would definitely leave early."

Only then did Yun Wanwan understand what Rong Chengxuan had meant.

No wonder Rong Chengxuan came to find her on purpose. It seemed that his way of looking at Yun Wanwan was completely different from his, so he came here on purpose.

"Who do I think it is?" An arrogant voice sounded from a distance.

Yun Wanwan and Rong Chengxuan looked up and saw a man in black flying towards them using light skills.

He looked at Rong Chengxuan arrogantly, and before Rong Chengxuan could say anything, he had already said arrogantly, "So it's you, the dog..."

In the capital, who would dare to speak to Rong Chengxuan like this? I'm afraid that in this world, there is only this man in front of him.

Rong Chengxuan was a better person after all. Yun Wanwan was a little angry and asked Rong Chengxuan softly, "Who is he?"

"The son of the master of Lingyue Valley—Ling Qianyuan."

After Rong Chengxuan's explanation, Yun Wanwan immediately said, "So it's the Valley Master's son. I thought he was Lingyue Valley's guard dog. We just came in, and he's already barking here."

Rong Chengxuan was slightly stunned, but then he curled his lips and smiled.

For some reason, he could always see differences in Yun Wanwan, and it was still the same now.

No noble lady in the capital would dare to say such words, and they would even avoid speaking loudly. But someone like Yun Wanwan seemed even more interesting.

Ling Qianyuan had never met such a sharp-tongued girl before. He snorted coldly, "Rong Chengxuan, I haven't seen you for many years. You've become even more unsightly. Why did you bring a woman here? Do you think this woman can do anything to my Lingyue Valley?"

Yun Wanwan showed no sign of weakness and stood directly in front of Rong Chengxuan. "Yes, this watchdog young master isn't doing very well. I've been wandering around the martial arts world for a long time, but I've never heard of the name of Lingyue Valley."

"That's because you're ignorant!" Ling Qianyuan lost his temper and said directly, "Do you think the men around you are of any use? I'm telling you clearly, to save the people around you, you were willing to be our dogs when you were little!"

Rong Chengxuan clenched his fists, subconsciously wanting to see Yun Wanwan's reaction.

Yun Wanwan opened her red lips slightly, "Isn't this your Lingyue Valley's problem? You don't want to be a good person but to become a dog. Look at you now, haven't you become a watchdog?

"I'm not saying you guys in Lingyue Valley have any special fetishes. If you like being a dog, just tell us. We are kind-hearted and won't laugh at you."

Yun Wanwan sighed exaggeratedly, her face full of pity. "Sir, there's no need to be afraid. You have to trust us."

Ling Qianyuan was breathing heavily. He had no chance of winning over Yun Wanwan in an argument, and Yun Wanwan's words were so harsh.

He took a deep breath, obviously very angry, and because he was wearing black clothes, he soon broke out in a sweat.

He quickly jumped down from the tree and flew straight towards Yun Wanwan, stretching out the five fingers of his right hand to grab her, obviously intending to take Yun Wanwan's life.

Rong Chengxuan protected Yun Wanwan behind him and raised his hand to receive Ling Qianyuan's palm.

Ling Qianyuan was shocked and took a few steps back, clutching his chest and sneering, "I was wondering how you dared to come here. Turns out you were stealing skills from Lingyue Valley. Look, you really think you're a human being."

"Ling Qianyuan." Rong Chengxuan's eyes were cold, his voice icy, "Why are you here? Don't you understand now?"
