Upon arriving at the study, as soon as Yun Yichen raised his hand, Gu Shuyan said, "I don't drink tea."
Upon hearing this, Yun Yichen slowly lowered his hand, but the corners of his lips unconsciously curled upwards.

As Yun Yichen spoke, he took a stack of pastries and placed them in front of Gu Shuyan, telling her to eat them slowly while she thought about them.
Staring blankly as Yun Yichen sat back down at the table, Gu Shuyan blinked twice and actually picked up some pastries.
The pastries had a unique flavor, one that Gu Shuyan had never tasted before, but she surprisingly liked them.
"It seems the cook at the Yun residence isn't bad at all!"
Gu Shuyan sighed and walked up to Yun Yichen.
Looking at Yun Yichen's serious demeanor as he handled official business, it seemed that this man wasn't so scary after all. For example, right now, the way his brows were furrowed made him seem more approachable.
Without realizing it, Gu Shuyan felt a little reluctant to disturb him.
After finishing a plate of pastries, Gu Shuyan lay down next to Yun Yichen contentedly and fell asleep.
Setting aside the official business he had only half-finished, Yun Yichen looked at Gu Shuyan, who was sleeping soundly, and a gentle smile appeared on his face.
She's really a young girl, isn't she afraid I'll sell her off? But that's fine, at least it shows she trusts me.
As the sun sets, the sky is tinged with a layer of red clouds.
Gu Shuyan stretched slowly and opened her eyes to find herself lying on the soft couch without even realizing it.
"woke up?"

"Sorry, I fell asleep!"
She was being asked to think about things, but she simply went to sleep instead. How embarrassing!
No, wasn't she always shameless in front of Yun Yichen? When did she start being afraid of losing face? Thinking this, Gu Shuyan suddenly felt justified again.
Yun Yichen was naturally unaware of Gu Shuyan's fascinating inner thoughts. Seeing that it was getting late, Yun Yichen waved his hand and said, "You should go back."
