Chapter 229 Insignificant

Chapter 229 Insignificant

As Gu Shuyan spoke, she looked at the old lady and saw a glint in her eyes. The old lady immediately understood what Gu Shuyan meant.

"You're really willing to do that, so take your two younger sisters to see them! But don't forget to bring them over for lunch later."

As the old lady spoke, she couldn't help but chide her with a touch of coquettishness.

"Grandmother, don't worry, I know what I'm doing."

After saying that, Gu Shuyan stepped forward, grabbed one person with each hand, and led the two directly to the North Courtyard.

No sooner had the three left than Zhao Mama, who was standing next to the old lady, whispered in her ear, "Old lady, judging from the expressions of the second and third young ladies, I'm afraid they did want to come."

Zhao's mother was an old servant of the old lady, so naturally she could not only judge people accurately at a glance, but few people could match her ability to understand their thoughts.

Although the two of them said they couldn't bear to part with Aunt Qiao, it was obvious to anyone with eyes that they were forced by her.

"So that's why Yan found an excuse to take the two of them away!"

The old lady naturally understood what Zhao's mother had seen; the reason she hadn't shown it earlier was simply to save face for the two children.

Seeing the smile in the old lady's eyes, Zhao's mother instantly understood.

"This old servant will go and bring over the two young ladies' luggage right away."

As she spoke, Zhao's mother led a group of people to the courtyard of the second house.

"Auntie, something terrible has happened! Zhao Mama has arrived with her people."

Aunt Qiao was sitting leisurely in a chair, eating the grapes that had been delivered that morning, when she heard the maid's words and immediately jumped up from the chair.

"What did you say?"

"Mother Zhao has arrived with some people. It seems like they've come to give the two young ladies something."

The little maid was trembling as she spoke, terrified that her master might take his anger out on her if he was displeased.

However, Aunt Qiao clearly had no interest in her at the moment; compared to the arrival of Zhao Mama, she seemed insignificant.

"Take me to see it."

As Aunt Qiao strode out, she wondered if the two maids hadn't explained things clearly to the old lady.

As soon as she left the hospital, Aunt Qiao ran into Zhao's mother.

"What wind blew Mom here?"

Aunt Qiao greeted them with a smile, her face full of affection.

"This servant greets Madam."

When Zhao Mama saw Aunt Qiao, she didn't act high and mighty, but politely and distantly bowed to her.

She straightened up again and said, "This old servant has been ordered by the old lady to take the belongings of the second and third young ladies to Yunxiang Courtyard."

The sentence clearly stated their purpose, but did not give Aunt Qiao any chance to speak.

"Second Miss, where are the Third Miss? Why haven't we seen them?"

Aunt Qiao looked behind her as she spoke, but did not see Gu Yuxin and Gu Yuhe. Just as she was about to try to get information out of Zhao Mama, Zhao Mama didn't even glance at her and directly ordered someone to enter the courtyard.

"Be careful, make sure you don't miss out on anything you're entitled to. The second and third young ladies will be living in the old lady's courtyard from now on, so there's no need to leave anything here."

At Zhao Mama's command, the maids and servants immediately responded and left, without giving Aunt Qiao a single glance.

Seeing that none of these servants respected her, Aunt Qiao was furious, but she still had to be respectful and polite to Zhao Mama.

"Yesterday, I heard the second and third young ladies say they couldn't bear to leave me alone. Why are they moving out now?"
