Chapter 542 Never to be Separated Again
The woman remained aloof, showing no intention of showing any concern for Gu Shuyan.
Watching her speak so awkwardly, Gu Shuyan found it rather cute.
"Thank you, young lady!" Gu Shuyan said, giving her a big smile, which the woman quickly turned her face away.

"You lied to me!" Whether out of anger or confusion, Gu Shuyan immediately raised her hand and punched Yun Yichen hard in the chest twice when he looked at her like that.
Yun Yichen's smile remained unchanged as he grabbed Gu Shuyan's hand that was hitting her chest.
"Shushu, we are finally husband and wife. From now on, no matter where we are in the world, we will never be separated again."
When Gu Shuyan resolved the engagement by saying she would cancel it, Yun Yichen was terrified that she would get angry with him and never speak to him again.
Now, with his beloved by his side, Yun Yichen felt that all the suffering he had endured in the past paled in comparison to Gu Shuyan's every smile and frown.
Gu Shuyan was held tightly by Yun Yichen, and when she met his unwavering gaze, her heart softened instantly.
"Yes, let's never be apart again."
Gu Shuyan nodded, and the two stared at each other as if time had stood still.
After staring at each other for an unknown amount of time, Yun Yichen finally couldn't help but say, "I'm going to wash up. Don't let the smell of alcohol bother you later."
Yun Yichen is not a heavy drinker, but he couldn't resist being forced to drink by others, so he smelled quite strongly of alcohol.
As Yun Yichen got off the bed, he stumbled and almost fell flat on his face.
"Watch out!" Gu Shuyan's heart jumped out of her chest at his action.
However, after Yun Yichen steadied himself, he waved his hand as if nothing had happened and stepped into the side room.
Gu Shuyan lay on the bed, smelling the lingering scent of wine left by Yun Yichen, and her eyelids drooped as she drifted off to sleep.
In her dream, Gu Shuyan vaguely arrived at a small house, a house that Gu Shuyan recognized as the starting point that had ruined her reputation.
The interior was simply furnished, and it looked like no one had lived there for a long time. Her head felt heavy, and her vision began to blur.
It was hot, her body felt like it was on fire. Gu Shuyan didn't have time to think about anything else and quickly took off her clothes, but even so, she was still incredibly hot.
Suddenly a cool breeze swept over her, and Gu Shuyan turned around to see someone lying on the bed.
Instinctively, Gu Shuyan moved closer and closer, then she felt a chill. Her mind went blank, and she hugged the person on the bed.
The man seemed startled by her actions and tried to push her away, but Gu Shuyan was not about to let go of the only "tool" that could relieve her desire.
