Inside the small house, the master and servants huddled together, and Gu Shuyan dipped her hand in water and slowly wrote words on the table.
Since they were unsure whether Mu Fan would send someone to keep an eye on them, it was better to communicate silently, just to be on the safe side.
Gu Shuyan wrote the four large characters "Nighttime Infiltration of Forbidden Area" on the table.
Wu Yin and Yang Kun nodded at the same time. One of them wrote a word on the table to indicate where he was going, and then the group ended their brief "talk".
Lying in bed, Gu Shuyan kept thinking about everything she had seen on the road that day. When she thought about the place that looked like the entrance to a tomb, Gu Shuyan felt that it shouldn't have appeared there for no reason.
Perhaps there's some secret hidden in that tomb?
Gu Shuyan's mind was a complete mess, and she tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep.
As night fell, Wuyin and Yang Kun quietly left the house. After identifying the locations Mu Fan had mentioned, they quickly headed towards their destination.
"My lord, it's getting late. Why don't we get back to work tomorrow?"
A voice reached his ears, and Wuyin cautiously hid in the corner, looking in the direction from which the voice came.
Upon seeing the other person's face clearly, her pupils suddenly contracted, and she found it difficult to breathe.
Even though Wuyin had prepared herself mentally before coming, she still couldn't suppress her fear when she actually saw that the person living in the forbidden area was the old man.
A gust of cold wind blew by, and Wuyin calmed her mind a little.

Gu Shuyan waited until the two returned before slowly opening her eyes. Because lighting the lanterns now would easily arouse suspicion, she was not informed of the news the two brought back until the next morning.
Mu Fan got up very early. The cold wind blew all night, and the canyon was filled with howling and wailing all night because of the wind.
Knowing that Gu Shuyan was a pampered young lady, Mu Fan had someone prepare soup early in the morning and brought it over himself.
To his surprise, the master and servants not only did not continue to sleep, but instead sat at the table early in the morning.

"We need to go down the mountain."

But it was Gu Shuyan who said those words, and Mu Fan just stood there patiently, even asking, "Why?"
"Why do you say you're here to help me find the Blood Spirit Mushroom? But what kind of place is this?"
Gu Shuyan stood up abruptly, then walked to the bed and knocked on the wooden board. "This bed, this quilt, are you trying to kill me with hiccups or freeze me to death? If it weren't for me and the two of them keeping me warm last night, I would have been dead long ago."
Gu Shuyan was hysterical, and what she said was quite exaggerated, but it was actually quite in line with her persona.

Mu Fan's expression and the content of his words startled Gu Shuyan, who quickly hid behind Wuyin. However, realizing her fear, Gu Shuyan quickly stood up straight again.
"What a joke! It's just a mountain! I've come all this way, do you think I can't get out of here?" Gu Shuyan deliberately put on an air of fearlessness.
