Ji Xiaoxiao took the stone mill out of her Qiankun bag. Its heavy, massive body landed on the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust. The dust filled the air, making it stale, and Ji Xiaoxiao coughed, choking on the fumes.
"The Reincarnation Millstone." The voices rang out in unison, their eyes filled with covetousness and greed.
Ji Xiaoxiao glanced indifferently at the stone mill that everyone coveted, and curled her lip in disdain. Before leaving, Ji Xiaoxiao looked at the stone mill lying in the courtyard, her resentment like a storm. The original owner died because of the stone mill, and the stone mill, in turn, used the original owner's hand to slaughter countless people.
After much hesitation, Ji Xiaoxiao reluctantly put this ferocious creature into her Qiankun Bag, intending to find a time when the timing, location, and circumstances were right to destroy it with the power of heaven and earth.
"Oh, I took the wrong one." Ji Xiaoxiao put away the stone mill and took out a jade pendant instead.
The jade pendant is crystal clear, pale blue with a hint of blue, with a flowing dragon inside, from which one can faintly hear the roar of a dragon and the cry of a phoenix. Its exterior shines brightly, with mysterious and profound stripes. The front is inscribed with the words "Clear water reflects a noble person," while the back is engraved with the three large characters "Qingshui Sect."
"The Qing Shui Sect Master's token, the Qingyan Longwen Jade Pendant!" Yan Huo Zhenren exclaimed in surprise.
Shui Wuhen's eyes flickered when he saw the jade pendant in Ji Xiaoxiao's hand, and he subconsciously touched his own.
"It's gone, it's gone, the jade pendant is gone." Shui Wuhen's composure vanished instantly, replaced by panic.
Adding fuel to the fire, kicking someone when they're down. Ji Xiaoxiao, a demon who has committed countless evil deeds, smiled radiantly and gently shook the jade pendant in her hand, its glitter blinding Shui Wuhen's eyes.
"The Azure Dragon Jade Pendant is the token of the Qingshui Sect's leader; this is common knowledge throughout the land. A hundred years ago, Shui Wuhen succeeded the previous leader of the Qingshui Sect, Venerable Kangyi, and received the Azure Dragon Jade Pendant, taking charge of the entire Qingshui Sect. Now, who is the leader of the Qingshui Sect? Everyone knows." Ji Xiaoxiao muttered to herself, knowing when to stop and pointing out those who had been deceived by Shui Wuhen.
These powerful individuals, each one capable of cultivating to such a level, are all exceptionally intelligent and knowledgeable beings. Upon closer inspection of the Azure Dragon Jade Pendant, they knew that what Ji Xiaoxiao held was the genuine article.
The Azure Dragon Jade Pendant is an artifact from outer space, personally crafted by the master forger Bai Lianzi a thousand years ago. For anyone attempting to counterfeit it, not only has the celestial artifact used to forge it vanished without a trace, but Master Bai Lianzi's anti-counterfeiting marks alone would be enough to give any unscrupulous individual a run for their money.
Shui Wuhen's personal belongings have fallen into the hands of a demon, suggesting a close relationship between the rabbit spirit and Shui Wuhen. Unfortunately, Shui Wuhen had previously spoken nonsense, making the powerful figures wary of him.
A true villain is easy to dodge in open attacks. A hypocrite is hard to guard against in hidden arrows.
The other eight people who came with Shui Wuhen to capture Ji Xiaoxiao discreetly distanced themselves from him, remaining on high alert as if every bush and tree were a potential enemy. Even the usually ecstatic Yan Huo Zhenren had quietly focused all his attention on Shui Wuhen, as if he were about to retaliate at any moment.
Shui Wuhen possessed a vast and sensitive divine sense; how could he possibly conceal the subtle movements of the crowd?
"I, Shui Wuhen, have always acted with a clear conscience. Fellow Daoists, please believe me, I am innocent. This fiend must have stolen the Azure Dragon Jade Pendant while I wasn't paying attention." Shui Wuhen spoke with great emotion, but his skill in smearing others was far from up to par.
"Didn't you say before that you had never seen it? But when we arrived, it had already been injured by True Man Yanhuo and was forced to stay within a small beam of light, never venturing out. How could it have stolen the Azure Dragon Jade Pendant from you if it had never come out?"
Sometimes, when a woman is intelligent and wise, she shines with brilliance and possesses boundless charm.
Ji Xiaoxiao listened with delight, when suddenly she vomited a mouthful of blood, "Ugh..."
The injuries affected his heart and lungs, and due to prolonged lack of treatment, the condition worsened.
"I can't drag this out any longer. If they can't kill me, I'll die anyway," Ji Xiaoxiao thought to herself.
When people are on the verge of despair, they always unleash unlimited potential and possibilities.
Ji Xiaoxiao suddenly remembered the fiery look in everyone's eyes when they saw the stone mill. Those eyes were filled with the darkness of humanity: greed, desire, fanaticism, and an inescapable resolve.
To Ji Xiaoxiao, the stone mill was a useless object waiting to be destroyed. Now that those people coveted it so much, Ji Xiaoxiao could finally give it a good idea.
"The reincarnation turning stone mill." Ji Xiaoxiao carefully considered and pondered.
After a while, Ji Xiaoxiao took out the stone mill from her Qiankun bag.
“Ten years ago, Shui Wuhen appeared in the Monster Forest severely injured, and my sisters and I rescued him. After he recovered, my sisters and I followed him. We traveled around and eventually arrived at a remote town, where we settled down. After that, Shui Wuhen disappeared for a few days, and when he returned, he brought this thing with him.” Ji Xiaoxiao patted the stone mill beside her.
"Back then, my sisters and I had just taken human form and didn't understand the ways of the world. That scoundrel Shui Wuhen tricked us, saying that if you placed a person's soul in the eye of a millstone and turned the millstone, the person would receive endless happiness. No matter how absurd it was, we believed it. It wasn't until I discovered the truth that I realized I had already become the ruthless sword in Shui Wuhen's hand," Ji Xiaoxiao said sadly.
Ji Xiaoxiao paused for a moment, sorting out the original owner's feelings.
“I destroyed the souls of your relatives and friends, but it was Shui Wuhen who committed the murders. It was Shui Wuhen who instigated us to do all this. He is also a murderer. I know my sins are grave, but I beg you, you should also grind Shui Wuhen to dust!” Ji Xiaoxiao’s face was full of tears.
The original owner, Xiaobai, was a little white rabbit whose favorite thing to do was eat grass and bask in the sun. She lived a carefree and heartless life.
She was kind-hearted and couldn't bear to kill, yet time and again she caused countless people to suffer unimaginable pain and their souls to be scattered. Her revenge against Shui Wuhen was also a revenge for those people.
