Chapter 201: The Couple Showing Off Their Affection (Part 3)

"Bang bang bang..."

The iron gate was being pounded on so hard that it was about to collapse.

"Qiu Feng'er, you shameless slut, get out here!" Lu Zhu shouted from outside the door, her hair disheveled and a red handprint on her face.

Lu Zhu was making a huge fuss, and most of the residents in this community were elderly. The elderly are usually light sleepers, and Lu Zhu's shouting and yelling caused them to come out of their homes.

"Zhuzhu, what's wrong with you?" a kind-hearted older woman asked.

Lu Zhu felt that those watching the spectacle were all kind-hearted people who supported her, and cried as she said, "Qiu Feng'er seduced my husband."

"What?" Incredulous.

"It's true. Zhu came home late last night, and he smelled not only of alcohol but also of a woman's perfume. I asked him if he had been with another woman, and he got angry and hit me. He told me that he was with that bitch Qiu Feng'er last night, and that he likes that bitch Qiu Feng'er." Calling her a bitch repeatedly, Lü Zhu wanted nothing more than to tear Ji Xiaoxiao apart.

Lu Zhu's expression was genuine; every word and action she took was filled with hatred.

"Oh, I never would have guessed that Feng'er was this kind of person."

"I used to wonder why Qiu Feng'er would run to Nan Zhu's house every few days. Now that I think about it, I realize she had a plan all along."

"What a terrifying woman! Does she really enjoy ruining other people's marriages?"

“I need to keep my son away from her. I’m very satisfied with my daughter-in-law.”

"Harmony in the family brings prosperity in everything. Let this troublemaker get out."

The more they talked, the more agitated the crowd became. Some even threatened to strip Ji Xiaoxiao naked and parade her in the street to teach her the meaning of "shame."

Ji Xiaoxiao, who was listening on the other side of the door, had a cold glint in her eyes.

With a click, the door opened.

"What happened?" Ji Xiaoxiao looked like she had just woken up.

"What else? Qiu Feng'er, you seduced Sister Lü Zhu's husband, shamelessly becoming a mistress. Our community doesn't welcome you. Get out of here!" This was a girl who had just entered the stage of adolescent delusions. She held her head high and stood up straight, like a hero who had rid the people of evil and upheld justice.

"Me, seducing Lü Zhu's husband, Nan Zhu?" Ji Xiaoxiao pointed at herself, smiled sheepishly, and said, "Don't joke around. I'm already thirty-five, an old woman. Even if I'm interested in Nan Zhu, he might not be interested in me."

Self-deprecation and self-deprecation can sometimes be a powerful form of attack.

Ji Xiao's words make sense. No matter how much you take care of yourself, a 35-year-old's face will never be as smooth and beautiful as a 23-year-old's.

"Then... then who knows if you used some underhanded or shady methods?" the girl retorted, refusing to back down.

Ji Xiaoxiao shook her head at the girl and turned her gaze to Lü Zhu. "Lü Zhu, don't you know what kind of person my elder sister is?"

"Pretentious woman, disgusting." Lü Zhu gagged on the ground.

Having been repeatedly humiliated by ungrateful people, Ji Xiaoxiao's face turned extremely ugly, instantly becoming gloomy and terrifying.

"Catch the thief with the stolen goods, catch the woman in the act! Lü Zhu, you say I seduced Nan Zhu, then produce some evidence! You can't just say whatever you want; the law isn't just for show." Ji Xiaoxiao looked around; everyone was indignant. "Don't you all think this is unfair? Lü Zhu hasn't produced any evidence, and you haven't given me a chance to argue. You've just listened to Lü Zhu's one-sided opinion and arbitrarily convicted me of a fabricated crime."

The girl, who had been ignored by Ji Xiaoxiao, was unwilling to be overlooked. She stood up and said loudly, "No evidence is needed. Brother Nanzhu is so handsome. It's only natural that you, an old maid who can't get married, would covet Brother Nanzhu." Her face was flushed.

"Hehe." Ji Xiaoxiao responded with a smile.

"You..." The girl wanted to say something more, but was pulled back by the adult beside her.

Lu Zhu was deeply moved by his neighbors' strong support. He glanced disdainfully at the scheming cousin Ji Xiaoxiao, and then solemnly thanked them one by one, saying that she would produce evidence.

“You want evidence? I’ll give you evidence. Nan Zhu told me last night that you two spent the whole night together.” Lu Zhu was confident of winning, paused, and added, “He said it himself.”

“Nan Zhu was also involved, so his words are not credible,” Ji Xiaoxiao pointed out Lü Zhu’s mistake.

Lu Zhu had attended university, though not as a law major, but she had occasionally taken law courses during her four years of university life. With Ji Xiaoxiao's guidance, she quickly came to her senses and stared at Ji Xiaoxiao with embarrassment.

Lu Zhu opened her mouth, but Ji Xiaoxiao said seriously, "If you have nothing to say, then it's my turn."

"You said I was with Nan Zhu last night. When did it start and when did it end?" Ji Xiaoxiao asked in a businesslike manner, which intimidated many people.

“Nan Zhu is very responsible and would never skip work for you. He gets off work at 5 p.m., and he didn’t get back until after 10 p.m. last night, so you two probably spent time together around that time.” Lu Zhu pondered deeply, wrinkles appearing at the corners of her eyes.

Upon hearing this, Ji Xiaoxiao immediately smiled.

"What are you laughing at?" Lu Zhu asked, feeling a little flustered.

"What am I laughing at? I'm laughing at your stupidity," Ji Xiaoxiao mocked.

“Yesterday afternoon around 5 pm, I finished eating at XX restaurant outside the community. You can ask them if you don’t believe me. Around 6 pm, I was downstairs in the community, and there were quite a few elderly people who can vouch for me. Around 7 pm, I was dancing with the elderly people until 8:30 pm. Aunt Li invited me to her house for a while, and I didn’t leave until 10 pm.” Ji Xiaoxiao turned to the elderly woman who had grabbed the girl’s arm. “Aunt Li, please say something.”

Aunt Li's eyes flickered as she hid the girl behind her back and nodded gently.
