"Liar?" Feng Yi felt inexplicably confused.
"Weren't you going to help me? Why are you observing Ji Xiaoxiao?" Yunming said.
They're lying to me, everyone's lying to me.
Feng Yi took in Yun Ming's madness, shrugged, and grinned.
Back in the interstellar world, Feng Yi encountered the intriguing Ji Xiaoxiao. He planned to observe the beauty closely, understand her personality, and perhaps even have a long, intimate conversation with her. However, along the way, Feng Yi discovered Yun Ming.
At that time, Yunming was disguised as a policeman. Not only did he have some relationship with Ji Xiaoxiao on the surface, but he also secretly went to great lengths to spy on her. Birds of a feather flock together, and Feng Yi found Yunming's petty theft amusing, so he also became entangled with him.
"Oh, I see." Feng Yi suddenly realized. "Helping you is a given, but that's just a side thing. Observing Ji Xiaoxiao is what I really want to do."
We must not forget our original intentions; such an interesting Rashomon is a rare find.
"Ji Xiaoxiao is my person, you can't touch her, if you dare to touch her..."
Yunming grabbed Feng Yi by the neck, but Feng Yi remained calm and composed, unfazed.
"Hahaha... your man? He's nothing but a lowly beast. How dare you even dream of Luo Sheng? Yun Ming, you're far too overestimating yourself." Feng Yi's words were like knives stabbing Yun Ming in the heart.
Yunming wore a stern face as the fierce wind battered the prison. The wooden and stone cells, under his domineering presence, collapsed one after another.
The demonstration was small, but it made a big fuss and was all show and no substance.
Feng Yi merely glanced at Yun Ming casually, yet an invisible shockwave, as if Mount Tai had crashed down upon him, instantly forced Yun Ming to his knees. The cobblestone ground sank nearly a meter deep, riddled with spiderweb-like cracks.
"You're not even Luo Sheng, yet you dare to yell at me? Are you out of your mind?"
Feng Yi waved his hand, and Yun Ming's lower body was smashed into a pulp.
Yunming gritted his teeth and didn't cry out, a small trickle of blood meandering down the corner of his mouth.
"Besides your ridiculous pride, what else do you have now? You are no longer the Immortal Master of the Heavenly Lotus Holy Sect. Trash should act like trash." Feng Yi stepped on Yun Ming's head, causing Yun Ming to accidentally bite into a mouthful of dirt.
In the pitch-black darkness, the Ministry of Justice prison was filled with ruins, billowing dust, and piles of broken stones and wood, resembling a fortress of the rebel army.
Yunming held his breath, reached out and grabbed the foot that was stepping on his head, gradually increasing his strength, using all sorts of supernatural powers, determined not to stop until he had crushed that broken foot to pieces.
"Even now, you still haven't learned your lesson?" I'm so disappointed in you!
Feng Yi nodded slightly, and with a shake of his head, Yun Ming's body returned to normal. His two strong and powerful long legs were enough to drive men and women crazy.
"So, you deserve what you get."
Feng Yi left behind these words and disappeared from the prison in the blink of an eye.
Without the pressure of heaven and earth crushing him, Yunming propped himself up with his hands, glanced indifferently at the tunnel of An Wuyuan, patted his clothes, and left without a care in the world.
The Ministry of Justice prison, now devoid of any living people, was filled with the wails of ghosts.
"Waaaaah..."
As Ji Xiaoxiao walked to the gate of the Ministry of Justice prison, she could still clearly hear the ghostly cries.
He made a hand gesture, and the door opened automatically.
The dazzling sunlight shone directly in, and Ji Xiaoxiao subconsciously closed her eyes.
Sunlight streamed through her eyelids, and Ji Xiaoxiao saw a faint flush of blood. The warm sunlight bathed her entire body, dispelling the chill from her bones, and Ji Xiaoxiao shivered comfortably.
"A well-fed man doesn't know the hunger of a starving man, and someone wearing shoes doesn't know the cold of someone barefoot."
Ji Xiaoxiao was in a daze for a while, then realized that the familiar voice had brought her back to reality.
"Master Xu!" Liao Kongmin was both surprised and worried by the master's disheveled appearance and called out urgently.
Although Ji Xiaoxiao was not injured in the Ministry of Justice prison, her clothes were tattered, her hair was disheveled, and her face was covered in patches of white and black, making her a truly unbearable sight.
Ji Xiaoxiao slowly opened her eyes. Liao Kongmin was backlit and couldn't see the person's appearance for a moment. He stood there dumbfounded for a while.
"Master Xu, are you alright?"
Liao Kongmin dismounted from his horse, walked up to Ji Xiaoxiao, and waved his hand.
As the two approached, Ji Xiaoxiao got a clear look at the newcomer.
"Oh, it's Lord Liao!" His tone was one of joy at meeting an old friend in a foreign land.
Ji Xiaoxiao smiled, a drop of blood seeping from the corner of her mouth.
"Master Xu," Liao Kongmin said to the people behind him, supporting Ji Xiaoxiao, "Quickly, summon the imperial physician."
While waiting for the imperial physician to arrive, Liao Kongmin paused and said, "Men, surround the Ministry of Justice prison and do not allow anyone to enter."
Liao Kongmin was unaware of the true extent of Ji Xiaoxiao's abilities, though he knew to some extent that she was unfathomable. However, after just one trip to the Ministry of Justice's prison, Ji Xiaoxiao was seriously injured, forcing Liao Kongmin to reassess the danger level within the prison.
An hour later, Ji Xiaoxiao was sent back to the Zhenguo General's Mansion.
"Physician Li, how is my daughter's health?" Xu Yong asked.
An elderly man with white hair and beard stroked his beard, closed his eyes and pondered, "Master Xu... Master Xu is in good health, but he has lost too much blood and overworked himself. He can recover by taking some blood-nourishing and qi-boosting foods and resting for a few days."
"Thank you, Physician Li." Xu Yong bowed and at the same time secretly gave Xu Ningyi a wink. Xu Ningyi reluctantly escorted the old man to the front door.
Li Liancheng sat on the bed, holding Ji Xiaoxiao's hand and sobbing uncontrollably.
"My lady, the imperial physician has said that Momo is fine, so please stop crying. My heart is breaking..."
