Priceless treasures are easy to find, but a loving husband is hard to come by.
Kagura eagerly awaited her wedding day, anxiously waiting in the wedding hall for her life partner to take her hand. However, fate intervened; in front of everyone, Siming resolutely called off the wedding.
The next high priest slapped the next mountain lord, and if that wasn't shocking enough, then Si Ming abandoned his demonic powers, shaved his head, and converted to Buddhism. That must have been terrifying enough!
Kagura had no idea whether Si Ming had his reasons. Since Si Ming dared to slap her in the face, he had to be prepared for her revenge at any time.
The most painful things in the world are nothing more than separation by death, being driven to desperation, being unable to live or die, and taking away someone's loved one...
Sikong is Siming's younger brother. Kagura, out of love for Sikong, takes good care of him. The two are very familiar with each other, as if they were close family members.
Kagura's first step in taking revenge on Si Ming is to torture Si Kong.
"You brat, your brother betrayed my Yin Hun Mountain. You are the brother of a traitor, so you are also a traitor. You should know what happens to traitors."
Twelve-year-old Sikong was knocked to the ground, his tender face full of stubbornness, and dust covered the bruises on his skin.
“He is him, and I am me. Don’t compare me to him. I, Sikong, am not a traitor.”
"Soliciting nonsense, traitor."
"Can't you understand human language? I'm not a traitor."
"Ha, even now you still have the nerve to yell at me, huh? You've got guts. Brothers, this kid looks pretty fair-skinned, wanna have some fun?"
"Great! Great!" everyone exclaimed in unison.
"Who wants to go first?"
"It's better to share happiness than to enjoy it alone, let's do it together."
"Isn't this a bad idea? What if someone gets killed?"
"He's dead, so be it. He was just a traitor."
Next, the sound of clothes being torn rang out.
Kagura watched coldly, intending to sit back and observe the fight, but her body moved on its own.
"Stop, get off." Kagura stood to the side, and the crowd that had been so lively and excited just moments before was now just staring blankly with their eyes darting around.
"Young Master, we'll leave right away."
"A clown, not worth mentioning," Kagura said, looking at Sikong with suspicion.
Sikong lay on the ground, biting his lip, his big, gray eyes wide open.
"Young Master Sister, are you here to help me?" Sikong asked pitifully.
For some reason, Kagura nodded in a daze.
"Waaaaah..."
Uh, what's going on?
Kagura felt like she had been pounced on by a bear!
"Waaah... Young Master Sister, Young Master Sister..."
At twelve years old, Sikong was still an ignorant and naive child.
Kagura paused, then gently patted Sikong's back.
"It's alright now, I'll take care of you from now on."
We are all fellow sufferers, why should we make things difficult for each other?
"Sister, sister, Sikong will definitely listen to you from now on, okay...."
Sikong held Kagura tightly around the waist, buried his head in Kagura's stomach, and wailed hysterically. His icy tears soaked through his clothes and froze Kagura's heart.
Kagura could never forget that day; Shiku looked so pitiful and heartbroken.
Now that she has accepted Sikong, she will seek justice for him.
"Si Ming, say something!"
Kagura waited quietly for a while, and Master Kongkong remained silent.
"Since you are unwilling to answer, let's see who has the better skills! I have long wanted to know whether your Heart Palace's 'Heart Sutra of Universal Salvation' is superior, or my 'Ten Thousand Demons Devouring Souls' is invincible."
Standing on the ground, Sikong saw Kagura deliver a severe blow to her older brother and grinned from ear to ear, almost bursting into song and dance to celebrate this great moment.
“Kagura doesn’t still have feelings for Sima,” Sikong thought proudly. “It must be because I am so charming that Kagura loves me to death.”
With his worries gone, Sikong swiftly went to deal with Lieyun.
The battle situation is changing rapidly. At this moment, the righteous path is waning and the demonic path is rising.
Yue Ran was held back by three puppets, Master Kong Kong was gradually losing ground under Kagura's killing move, and Si Kong was completely dominating the heavily injured Lie Yun.
Lie Yun was filled with worry, so he used a powerful move to repel Sikong. Knowing that two heads are better than one, he hurriedly ran to Master Kongkong to discuss a solution.
"Where there's life, there's hope. Master Kongkong, I think we should retreat first."
Master Kongkong suffered repeated defeats and began to consider retreating.
“Alright.” Master Kongkong readily agreed. “Fellow Daoist Lieyun, I will try my best to hold off Shenle and Sikong later. You can take the opportunity to rescue Sect Leader Yue.”
As fellow righteous people, we should look out for and help each other. Lie Yun acted on the plan without hesitation.
The plan went very smoothly. Master Kongkong successfully held off Kagura and Sikong, while Lieyun seized the opportunity to rescue Yueran.
"Go!" Lie Yun shouted, but before he could act, he saw the righteous people who had been chasing Ji Xiaoxiao heading this way.
"Venerable Lieyun, Master Kongkong, Sect Leader Yue, we have come to help you."
The speaker was the old monk who had been saved by Yue Ran.
After resting for a while, the old cultivator immediately led the remaining troops to support Yue Ran and her group in their fight against demons.
"More trouble than it's worth," Lie Yun cursed under his breath.
Ultimately, it was someone else's good intention, and even if it was unnecessary and backfired, Lie Yun had no choice but to grit his teeth and swallow his anger.
"You guys should leave quickly." Lie Yun desperately hoped they could go back to where they came from.
As the saying goes, good fortune never comes in pairs, but misfortunes never come singly.
