Chapter 300 The Hybrid Overlord of Online Games (Part 8)

"He is a descendant of the Dragon Clan, a towering, upright man, a prodigy envied and resented by all. Yet, he possesses no talent whatsoever, utterly powerless. He is only filthy rich, treating money like dirt, bribing the Beast King and the High Priest with it, allowing him to win the first round without a fight. In the second round, he unleashes an endless array of magical treasures and artifacts, overwhelming the Divine Servant, who is defeated in the chaos. Now, esteemed audience, let us boo this utterly useless man, thus encouraging him to live a life of utter slacking off!"

"Shh." The audience members in the stands around the dragon man shushed him loudly.

The dragon man scratched his head and lowered it in embarrassment.

"If you dare to do it, you should dare to admit it. Can't you act like a man?"

The fox-girl's expression conveyed a sense of disappointment and frustration.

"I'm sorry," the dragon man said, blushing as he apologized to the fox girl.

"You know you've wronged me, yet you're not acting like a man at all." The fox-girl glared at the dragon-man, her aura fierce, like a tigress that would devour people without spitting out the bones.

The dragon man straightened his back, his handsome face slightly stern, his smiling yet shy eyes as cold as ice. "What are you yelling about, you slut? Do you think I'm easy to bully? I gave you a little leech, and you dare to take advantage of me. You little slut, if I don't beat you for three days, you'll be climbing on the roof and tearing off the tiles. If I don't beat you to death today, I'm not a man."

What should have been a competition turned into a battleground for their bickering.

With the mindset that "why not watch the excitement if you can't afford to," Ji Xiaoxiao took a few steps back, opened her eyes wide, and carefully watched and listened to their "performance on stage."

After about ten minutes, the fox girl was defeated.

"Now, the match begins." With that, the fox-girl left the arena.

The fox girl flashed away from the arena, leaving only Ji Xiaoxiao and the dragon man on the stage.

The dragon man scratched his head again, looking rather embarrassed, and said, "I'm so sorry you had to see this. Hehe..." The dragon man's smile was amiable, lacking his previous aggressive demeanor, clean and refreshing like the clear water and bright trees after a summer rain.

"It's okay, I'm quite happy." She seemed to enjoy watching it.

"That's good." The dragon man breathed a sigh of relief.

“Beautiful lady, can we discuss something?” The dragon man was embarrassed again, his flushed cheeks seeming to burn away his remaining rationality and ability to speak. “Um… could you take the initiative to admit defeat, and I will give you…”

Before the dragon man could finish speaking, Ji Xiaoxiao delivered a flying kick, sending him flying off the stage.

The result was announced less than a minute after the match began.

"How could you ambush me without me even saying a word?"

The dragon man climbed onto the arena, and his first words were an accusation against Ji Xiaoxiao.

Ji Xiaoxiao shrugged. "But the competition has already started."

The competition has begun, so of course, some physical altercations are inevitable.

The dragon man's eyes were filled with tears, making his golden pupils appear even more translucent.

"Why won't you let me finish what I have to say? I can give you lots and lots of money, as long as you admit defeat and let me win the God of War Tournament."

As the saying goes, money makes the world go round. With countless riches, how could the greedy and lustful Ji Xiaoxiao not be persuaded to give up and admit defeat?

"How much?" Ji Xiaoxiao asked calmly.

"Five million interstellar coins, that's my target price."

"Five million?" Ji Xiaoxiao's eyes reddened, her heart aching. "Why didn't you say so sooner?"

The one who missed out on the five million was definitely not Ji Xiaoxiao, but that slow-witted, silly dragon man.

The fox girl suddenly returned to the arena, grabbed Ji Xiaoxiao and lifted her up, and shouted, "The winner of the War God Competition is an ordinary human girl, Jiji is a chicken."

"Wow..." The audience erupted in cheers and murmurs.

"You'll regret it, you'll definitely regret it." The dragon man glared fiercely at Ji Xiaoxiao, his golden eyes gleaming with a chilling malice, just like a beautiful queen holding a poisoned apple, deceiving the innocent and harmless Snow White Prince into eating it.

Upon hearing this, Ji Xiaoxiao's body trembled uncontrollably, and goosebumps appeared on her skin.

After being sent to the temple of the Beastman God Mountain by the fox girl, Ji Xiaoxiao truly regretted it. Why did she have to focus on gathering intelligence instead of being influenced by the people and events before her? Who said gods have to be men? Who said a domineering war god has to be a man?

"So you're the victor?"

The voice lacked a man's strength and sexiness; instead, it was filled with the naked allure of a beautiful woman.

Ji Xiaoxiao stared blankly at the orc war god sitting on the throne. His proud figure was tempting, and his graceful posture was flawless.

Damn it, if I'm not blind, is this a woman?

Ji Xiaoxiao craned her neck and scanned the God of War inside and out again, and the result was as heartbreaking as ever. She was a pure, unadulterated woman, undoubtedly beautiful and charming.

No wonder! No wonder the dragon man was in unbearable pain, wishing he could devour her flesh and sleep on her skin, as if Ji Xiaoxiao were his father's killer and a villain who stole his wife. It turns out that Ji Xiaoxiao had unintentionally stolen his "wife." No wonder there were few women participating in the Orc War God Competition, only a group of imposing, vigorous, and muscular men. The deepest reason was this peerless beauty who could captivate one's soul at first glance.

"Come up," the God of War commanded.

Now that things have come to this, retreating in the face of battle is not an option.

Ji Xiaoxiao stood stiffly as she walked step by step toward the God of War.

That night, the God of War was incredibly brave.
