Ji Xiaoxiao squinted, her expression unfriendly as she sized up Liao Kongmin. Handsome, well-endowed, and with a perfect score on the test, Liao Kongmin was only missing one thing – being good in bed – to get a perfect score.
"Qingqing, let's consummate our marriage!" Liao Kongmin repeated.
"Excuse me, are we married?"
Ji Xiaoxiao hit the nail on the head, bluntly shattering Liao Kongmin's illusory dream.
"You've already accepted my proposal, so isn't it normal for us to do that?"
"Excuse me, are we married?" Ji Xiaoxiao asked seriously.
Liao Kongmin was startled by Ji Xiaoxiao's solemn expression. "No."
"You actually know you don't, and you still have the nerve to mention the wedding night to me. Liao Kongmin, has your brain been eaten by a pig, or filled with all sorts of rubbish? You're always thinking about this nonsense. You're so energetic, can't you go exercise?" Ji Xiaoxiao poked Liao Kongmin's temple hard, her disdain masking a faint sense of pleasure.
Liao Kongmin hung his head and muttered softly, "That's not just something trivial, it's very, very important to me, and it's also good exercise, with two people doing it together."
"You dare talk back to me?" Ji Xiaoxiao said angrily. "Liao Kongmin, you stand still. If I don't teach you a lesson today, you won't know who's in charge of this family."
Ji Xiaoxiao is terrifying when she loses her temper, and Liao Kongmin is pitiful when he feels wronged.
The next day, Liao Kongmin didn't go home. Instead, he slept on Ji Xiaoxiao's little sofa all night. The delicious food was right in front of him, yet he could only admire it from afar. After craving it all night, Liao Kongmin, with dark circles under his eyes, pitifully begged Ji Xiaoxiao to go get their marriage certificate.
"Qingqing, Qingqing, let's go to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get our marriage certificate!"
Liao Kongmin tugged at Ji Xiaoxiao's sleeve, swaying and twisting his waist and hips.
Ji Xiaoxiao prepared breakfast without looking to the side, not even glancing at Liao Kongmin's child.
"Qingqing, Qingqing, let's go to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get our marriage certificate! I want to get married, I want to get our marriage certificate, I want to do 'that' with Qingqing, do shameful things."
Liao Kongmin pestered Ji Xiaoxiao, becoming increasingly unrestrained in his speech. Ji Xiaoxiao's ears couldn't take it anymore, and she reluctantly agreed to Liao Kongmin's shameless request.
"Mmm... Qingqing, you're the best."
Liao Kongmin gave Ji Xiaoxiao a big bite, then hugged his future wife and spun her around a few times.
Ji Xiaoxiao's eyes were smiling, and the corners of her mouth were slightly upturned.
Since you've accepted his proposal, since you can't bear to see him sullen and dejected, and since you've chosen to follow your heart, why hold back? Just let things take their course.
The two were almost face to face. Ji Xiaoxiao looked at the handsome face that seemed to be magnified infinitely, and her heart skipped a beat. "It seems that I not only did not lose, but I also gained."
Liao Kongmin, standing before me, beamed with delight. His masculine charm was irresistible. He possessed both the innocence of a naive young man and the composure of a mature man, a contradictory yet harmonious blend.
Overjoyed, Liao Kongmin made preparations with lightning speed. The next morning, he dragged the sleepy-eyed Ji Xiaoxiao out of the house and headed straight for the nearest civil affairs bureau.
"Wait a minute, let's have breakfast first." Ji Xiaoxiao came to her senses and stomped her feet, but even with all the strength Liao Kongmin exerted, he couldn't move Ji Xiaoxiao an inch.
"Let's eat after we get the certificate! What if they're closed if we go too late?" Liao Kongmin was filled with worry. One moment he was thinking about the Civil Affairs Bureau closing down due to some unforeseen event, and the next he was concocting a nightmare about Ji Xiaoxiao suddenly having a change of heart and turning over a new leaf. In short, Liao Kongmin was uneasy without that red certificate in his hand!
"How long does it take to eat breakfast? Listen to me, eat breakfast first before you go."
Ji Xiaoxiao coaxed Liao Kongmin gently, and Liao Kongmin was overjoyed. He obediently followed Ji Xiaoxiao into the nearby breakfast shop, which was always packed with customers.
"Boss, two servings please..."
The two waited a while, and then a hot breakfast was served.
Taking a bite of the fried dough stick, wow... no wonder it's a popular breakfast shop, the taste is exceptionally good. Ji Xiaoxiao and Liao Kongmin ate until their bellies were full and satisfied.
"Are you full?" Ji Xiaoxiao asked Liao Kongmin.
Liao Kongmin took out a tissue and gently wiped Ji Xiaoxiao's hands. "You're full."
"Then go and settle the bill, and come back as soon as possible."
Upon hearing this, the regulators eagerly went to pay the bill.
One person went, two returned.
"Feifei?" Ji Xiaoxiao was a little uncertain.
The woman who came alongside Liao Kongmin was heavily made up and stunningly beautiful. She was dressed provocatively, and every move she made was a silent seduction and allure.
"Qingqing, what a coincidence, I actually ran into you here."
Lin Lin smiled at Ji Xiaoxiao and sat down next to her as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Ji Xiaoxiao sensed that the woman beside her had ill intentions. She forced a smile and remained silent, leaving Liao Kongmin to deal with her.
"Feifei, it's perfect to run into you here." Liao Kongmin said happily as he sat across from me, "Qingqing and I are getting married. We're going to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get our marriage certificate in a little while. The wedding will be in the next month or two. We agreed beforehand that you'd be our bridesmaid, so you can't refuse."
Lin Lin was pierced through the heart by an arrow and was in unbearable pain.
"You're getting married?" Lin Lin's hands clenched tightly, her nails digging into her flesh, her dazed mind finally clearing up a bit. "Congratulations, you two are finally united in marriage."
"No, no." Liao Kongmin's face was slightly red.
"Kongmin, tell me the date of the wedding first. I'm a very busy person, and I need to arrange my time carefully so that we don't clash and I miss your wedding."
Lin Lin's words were somewhat incoherent and made me feel uncomfortable.
"Okay, I will definitely let you know in advance."
