Dust swirled and rumbling filled the empty, pristine temple.
Ji Xiaoxiao recognized the final divine scroll, gritted her teeth, and took out a puppet. The dwarven divine humanoid puppet possessed such immense power that even Ji Xiaoxiao couldn't guarantee she could successfully pass the level unscathed.
The humanoid puppet was fearless and invincible. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Ji Xiaoxiao had sold everything she owned and scraped together the money to buy such a fine piece of equipment. Ji Xiaoxiao touched the puppet tenderly, but when she activated it, a sharp, excruciating pain surged through her.
"I bought this at a high price, so please don't let it break!"
Without any guarantees, the puppet rushed towards the God of Light. Fearless, unaware of pain, and undeterred, it once again successfully halted the God of Light's advance.
Now, the skill that had been brewing for so long could finally be used.
Ji Xiaoxiao unleashed the Dark Prisoner God Chains, which pierced the void. The pitch-black chains clanged and rattled, creating a noisy yet terrifying and oppressive atmosphere.
"Dark Binding God Chains." The God of Light kicked the puppet away and accidentally caught sight of the divine artifact, Dark Binding God Chains. "Even if it is Dark Binding God Chains, human woman, do you really think it can imprison a god? Don't be delusional. A divine artifact is nothing but an inanimate object."
Ji Xiaoxiao ignored him, focusing intently on gripping one end of the Dark Prisoner's Chain, using all her strength as if she wanted to pull down the space in front of her.
"Dark Godslayer, chains shatter the void, the abyss is bottomless, illusion is endless. The human woman Luo Shui Wushuang respectfully invites the Lord of the Dark Abyss, Lord Void, to grace us with your presence." Ji Xiaoxiao lowered her head, opened her mouth, and bit her wrist hard with her white teeth. Blood dripped continuously along the Dark Godslayer Chains and into the void.
The void tasted the blood and trembled.
The repaired Dark Prisoner's Chains triggered a new skill: summoning the Void, the Lord of the Dark Abyss. The Void was infamous; its ferocity and cruelty were legendary, well-known to Ji Xiaoxiao. If there were even a sliver of a chance she could defeat the God of Light with her own power, Ji Xiaoxiao wouldn't have risked so much to summon the Void. The Void's nature was unpredictable, and Ji Xiaoxiao feared that if the Void disliked her, it could easily destroy her with a wave of its hand or a kick.
"Human woman, how dare you defy the world and summon the Lord of the Dark Abyss—Void!" The God of Light's eyes widened in fury, and fear gripped his heart.
Void, the lord of the Dark Abyss, was sealed within the Dark Abyss by the seven great gods. Even with the seven gods joining forces, they could only seal Void; they could not destroy its body or annihilate its soul, demonstrating the unfathomable depth of Void's power.
"The summoning ritual must not be allowed to succeed," the God of Light thought with trepidation.
Over the millennia, the undisturbed mind of the God of Light, Gu Bo, has changed.
"I tried everything to persuade you, but you still wouldn't agree. So, I had no choice but to force you with my powerlessness."
A man's knees are worth gold, but a woman's knees are worth diamonds and jade! Ji Xiaoxiao knelt and kowtowed, torturing herself in order to win over "The Hybrid Overlord," but the God of Light still wouldn't allow it. So don't blame her for getting angry and acting wickedly, and everyone was destroyed together.
"You have finished the summoning ritual, and I, the God, grant you the power of my bloodline."
Go, go, go! Don't think it's just you going alone, a whole group of you can go. As long as the summoning ritual is over, my body is yours to do with as you please.
Ji Xiaoxiao understood the hidden meaning in the God of Light's words. After thinking for a moment, she agreed. However, there was a condition: the God of Light had to swear an oath to the Creator that if he went back on his word or sought revenge afterward, he would lose all his divine power and be condemned to eternal damnation. The God of Light did not want to fight against the Void and suffer another humiliating treaty, so he signed it without hesitation.
"You'd better keep your word."
Ji Xiaoxiao stopped the bleeding, and the trembling void shook slightly before falling silent again.
Retrieving the Dark Prisoner's Chains, Ji Xiaoxiao cautiously approached the God of Light. Along the way, she encountered a half-dead humanoid puppet, which she carefully and reluctantly tucked into her backpack, thinking that selling it secondhand at a super low price of 20% off would surely attract some fools.
The God of Light deciphered the last divine scroll, and with a single glance, the cratered and dilapidated temple was restored to its original state in the blink of an eye.
"Hurry up," the God of Light said fiercely.
The heart of the God of Light was filled with anguish at being forced into such a position as a human woman!
Ji Xiaoxiao ran over, pushed the God of Light over, and straddled his waist. Her little hands touched the God of Light's body, like a child exploring a new house.
"I didn't realize you were so well-endowed. No wonder you're the God of Light." Ji Xiaoxiao pinched the God of Light's manhood and said slyly, "However, you still lost to the Demon God by a hair's breadth. His is..." Ji Xiaoxiao bent down and breathed hot air into the God of Light's ear, chattering about the Demon God's good points.
The God of Light and the God of Demons, one righteous and one evil, one light and one darkness, are natural enemies. Ji Xiaoxiao praised the God of Light and belittled the God of Light in front of him, enraging the God of Light.
"Human woman, I will prove with facts that the Demon God is nothing but a showy but useless spear," the God of Light said defiantly.
Ji Xiaoxiao pinched the God of Light's firm pectoral muscles and said, "I'm waiting. God of Light, you'd better prepare well and don't disappoint me."
"Hmph." A hint of killing intent flashed in the eyes of the God of Light.
Having made the vow, Ji Xiaoxiao was not afraid of the God of Light suddenly attacking and destroying it. She then took several items from her backpack and neatly arranged them to one side.
"My Lord God of Light, before the main course, let's have some dessert first."
Ji Xiaoxiao picked up an object and waved it in front of the God of Light. "Lord God of Light, take a look? You have this too. You must know how to use it better than I do."
