Chapter 335 The Heiress's Revenge (Part 8)

Ji Xiaoxiao remained calm, as if she had expected this.

“Lord Star,” John said with concern.

The great battle between Sacramento and the Dark Star People was still fresh in everyone's mind. The troops were exhausted, supplies were insufficient, and the losses were heavy. Long Aotian led his strong army to launch a large-scale invasion, but the outcome was likely to be disastrous.

Huo Yan was a master of military strategy, and he knew John's thoughts perfectly well. Long Aotian seized the opportunity, and although it was a despicable act, it must be said that Long Aotian played a brilliant move, catching them completely off guard.

"Strike first, or suffer the consequences. Star Lord, I suggest that instead of passively defending against attacks, we should take the initiative and let Long Aotian experience the true strength of our Sacriton soldiers," Huo Yan said confidently.

Ji Xiaoxiao waved her hand calmly.

"Star Lord." Huo Yan asked, puzzled.

Ji Xiaoxiao's expression remained calm, showing neither joy nor anger.

"John, what's the good news?" Ji Xiaoxiao asked.

John paused for a moment before saying, "Reporting to the Star Lord, the good news is that General Jin Xin is still wholeheartedly loyal to Sacramento. The intelligence that Long Aotian will lead troops to attack Sacramento was secretly told to us by General Jin Xin at the risk of his life."

"Star Lord, my brother hates Long Aotian the most, he would never side with Long Aotian." Huo Yan chimed in from the side, fearing that Ji Xiaoxiao would be swayed by one side's opinion.

Ji Xiaoxiao raised her eyebrows slightly, and her emerald green eyes rippled with emotion.

"Jin Xin?"

“Yes, Lord Star, General Jin Xin did not betray Sacramento. He sacrificed himself to infiltrate the enemy camp and steal the Star River Empire’s confidential intelligence.” John’s eyes were calm and composed, but his face turned stern, revealing the cold and resolute nature of a soldier.

It's good that Jin Xin didn't betray Sacramento; however, one-sided testimony is not enough. Ji Xiaoxiao still needs to see Jin Xin again before making a conclusion.

With her head slightly lowered, the dim light and shadow obscured her eyes and figure, making it impossible to see or guess Ji Xiaoxiao's true thoughts.

"Star Lord," Huo Yan said uneasily, "you...."

"No need to rush," Ji Xiaoxiao ordered the two. "The most important thing right now is how to deal with Long Aotian and his army. As for Jin Xin... we'll talk about him when he gets back."

John and Huo Yan exchanged a glance and silently kept quiet.

Starships stretched out one after another, an endless expanse, creating a magnificent scene.

A magnificent spaceship travels through the dark, boundless universe, reflecting the dazzling light of stars, its golden brilliance almost blinding.

"Your Majesty." Jin Xin knelt at Long Aotian's feet, his face full of flattery and obsequiousness.

Inside the spacecraft control room, a large crowd gathered, yet no one dared to speak carelessly. They whispered amongst themselves, using a cacophony of technical jargon that left listeners dizzy and disoriented.

"Jin Xin, is this the shortest route into Sacramento?" Long Aotian rested his chin on one hand, speaking slowly and deliberately, with an air of nonchalance.

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Jin Xin looked up, his lips glistening with moisture under the light.

Long Aotian stretched out his foot and rubbed Jin Xin's cheek. His bronze skin turned a terrifying crimson, and a faint smell of blood gradually wafted through the air.

"You did a very good job," Long Aotian said with a nonchalant compliment.

Upon hearing this, Jin Xin beamed with joy, much like a carefree, mischievous child who had just found candy.

“Your Majesty, I, your humble servant, was once one of the five generals of Sacramento. I remember not only the shortest, fastest, and safest route into Sacramento, but also all the attack and defense points, the number of personnel, the ease of defense and difficulty of attack, and Elizabeth Agnes’s last resort. I remember them all clearly.”

"Good, once I conquer Sacramento, you, my good dog, will surely reap the rewards."

"Thank you, Your Majesty." Jin Xin kowtowed deeply.

Long Aotian gazed intently at the universe, the planets of varying colors following their orbits, tirelessly revolving around their stars day and night. Turning his gaze back, he saw everyone in the control room diligently performing their duties. Some were talented, some capable, some powerful, yet all were bound by a lifelong constraint, still revolving around him, the sun. He, Long Aotian, was the true god of the Star River Empire. Elizabeth? What was she? Merely a remnant of Agnes.

"No need to add any more, my lips are clean." Long Aotian's shoes were wet, and a thin, glistening thread connected Jin Xin's mouth, like a broken lotus root, inseparable.

"Yes, Your Majesty." Jin Xin knelt on both knees, staring intently at Long Aotian with a passionate, even somewhat lewd, expression, awaiting Long Aotian's orders.

"Good boy," Long Aotian suddenly said loudly, "whose turn is it to serve this dog slave today?"

In the control room, everyone suddenly stopped what they were doing.

After a while, someone raised their hand, "Your Majesty, it's my turn."

"Then you should stay here, you dog slave!" Long Aotian said sternly.

Long Aotian's voice was cold and terrifying. The man stepped forward tremblingly and grabbed the iron chain around Jin Xin's neck.

"Your Majesty." The man bowed.

"Hurry up and leave!" the man shouted.

That person could change their mind faster than turning the pages of a book. They walked ahead, strode confidently, and moved with incredible speed. Jin Xin, crawling and covered in wounds, was inevitably dragged along by them.

"Yes, the dog servant knows he was wrong."

"Remember to treat him well," Long Aotian instructed, in high spirits.

"Your Majesty, I obey the decree." The man turned around and glanced at Jin Xin. What a dog-like appearance! Was this Jin Xin, the number one general under Elizabeth and famous throughout the world?

Hehehe... tonight you will definitely...

...

Some things are a blessing or a curse; the outcome is unknown, and no one knows for sure.
