Chapter 343 The Eldest Daughter's Revenge (Part 16)

"I don't know him, Star Lord. I don't know that General Shui Miao."

The injured man looked puzzled, but his eyes held an undisguised fear and anxiety.

Don't know him? How could you not know him? Shui Miao is the most popular of the five generals, and 98% of Sacryton's soldiers are his die-hard fans. When Ji Xiaoxiao was selecting the team members to assist Mu Sen in the search and rescue, she made sure to choose highly capable special forces members, all of whom were loyal fans of Shui Miao.

Don't you know Shui Miao? Who are you trying to fool?

Ji Xiaoxiao didn't press the injured man for answers. He was now their only hope for saving Mu Sen and the others, and needed careful nurturing. After chatting with the injured man about all sorts of things, Ji Xiaoxiao noticed that he looked tired and nodded occasionally, so she wisely left the room.

No matter the era, hospitals always have the fresh yet pungent smell of disinfectant. Ji Xiaoxiao, burdened with worries, inhaled the smell of disinfectant, and her heavy mind suddenly cleared, making her feel as light as a feather.

Why think so much? We'll deal with whatever comes our way. Once she's wiped out the trouble in the Abyss Valley, how could she not find the mastermind behind it all?

Three days later, with the full help of the hospital doctors, the injured person recovered.

Ji Xiaoxiao's original intention was to wait a day or two to allow the injured Hebrew to recover, but Hebrew seemed impatient. He had just been discharged from the hospital and had already walked right into Ji Xiaoxiao's trap.

"Lord Star, General Musen and his men are in critical condition. We must go and help them as soon as possible." Hebrew was agitated, the veins on his neck bulging, his blood vessels throbbing as if worms were crawling inside.

Ji Xiaoxiao crossed her arms and rested her chin on the desk. "Are you feeling better?"

She was an exceptionally good star lord, who insisted on the central idea that the emperor and the common people were no different, and could not neglect one for the other. She saved Musen, but harmed Hebrews.

Hebrew nodded quickly, saying, "Lord Star, I'm all better now. I'm fine. We can go and rescue General Musen."

Hebrew, thinking that words alone were insufficient proof, rolled up his sleeves without a word in front of the Lord of Sacramento, revealing his bronze skin and bulging muscles.

"Star Lord, look, I'm really alright now."

With those muscular muscles and that human skin color, what are you trying to do?

Ji Xiaoxiao smiled, her laughter almost shaking her head.

Since the person in charge said there was nothing wrong and urged her to act quickly, Ji Xiaoxiao had no choice but to accompany him. After making a phone call, two hours later, a well-equipped team of about a hundred people lined up neatly, waiting for Ji Xiaoxiao, the star lord, to come and "inspect the goods".

“Star Lord, you…?” Hebrew said in disbelief.

The Star Lord is indeed the Star Lord. In a short time, he not only gathered manpower but also made ample preparations. Look at the guns hanging on the chests of the soldiers in front of me, they are black and shiny, wow.

Ji Xiaoxiao changed into a tight-fitting outfit, her long golden hair was tied up high, and she looked extremely clean, neat and unrestrained.

"Let's go," Ji Xiaoxiao said loudly, making a "forward" gesture.

Ji Xiaoxiao was the first to enter the Abyss Valley.

"Wait!" the Hebrew cried out in alarm.

Ji Xiaoxiao turned to look at Hebrew, silently asking her mother what was wrong.

"Star Lord, are you going in too?"

Ji Xiaoxiao looked down at her outfit and said, "Yeah, otherwise what do you think I was going to do dressed like this? Show off?"

Hebrew rushed over and grabbed Ji Xiaoxiao tightly.

"Star Lord, the Abyss Valley is fraught with danger. You are the Star Lord of Sacriton, and the people of Sacriton need your leadership and protection. You cannot risk your life. Please return."

"I'm not leaving," Ji Xiaoxiao said stubbornly.

If you tell me to leave, and I just leave, wouldn't I lose face?

Hebrew was resolute and said in a firm tone, “If something happens to you in the Abyss Valley, how will I explain it to General Musen, how will I explain it to the people of Sacramento? Lord Star, for the sake of Sacramento, and for the sake of General Musen, please leave this place.”

“I’m not leaving,” Ji Xiaoxiao loudly told Hebrew, his mind made up.

"Star Lord..."

Before she could finish speaking in Hebrew, Ji Xiaoxiao turned and walked into the Abyss Valley.

"Star Lord, Star Lord, please wait for me."

The Star Lord is, after all, the Star Lord. How could a mere special forces soldier possibly dare to defy his superior, kidnap the Star Lord, and send him back to the Star Lord's villa?

The Hebrews resignedly followed, and hundreds of soldiers followed closely behind.

Ji Xiaoxiao walked ahead, a strange twitch at the corner of her mouth. It was understandable that Hebrew was worried she might not return; after all, a family cannot be without a head, and a country cannot be without a ruler.

Shaking her head, Ji Xiaoxiao muttered a sentence to Hebrews.

Is Ji Xiaoxiao the kind of great leader who robs Peter to pay Paul and neglects one thing for another? Don't think so badly of her. After all these years, she has made a name for herself. Before she left, she sent out invitations to many people and found a suitable person to temporarily replace her in handling government affairs.

As they ventured further into the abyss valley, the trees grew so dense they almost blocked out the sky. Ji Xiaoxiao and her group walked through it, the air thick and damp, filled with the lingering stench of decay.

Hebrew had been to the Valley of the Abyss once before, and he volunteered to lead the way. After wandering around for nearly ten days, they emerged from the forest and came to a clearing.

"Star Lord, it's here, it's here! General Musen and the others have been captured by the Dark Star People." Hebrew looked at the center of the open space, where there were still charred remains from the burning fire.

Ji Xiaoxiao turned her head to look around, actually using her internal energy cultivation technique to probe her surroundings.

Quiet, deathly quiet, not even the chirping of insects or birds could be heard near the forest.
