Chapter 379 The Twelfth School Prince, Torn to Pieces

On the arena, Ji Xiaoxiao lay face down, bright red blood pooling on the ground. (Le-Wen-)

"Xuanwu Master!" Li Fei stood up abruptly and shouted loudly.

Ji Xiaoxiao remained motionless on the arena.

"Xuanwu Master, Xuanwu Master," Li Fei called out a few more times.

“No need to call anymore, she’s already dead,” Old Man Tianming said abruptly.

For a moment, Li Fei panicked and quickly denied it, saying, "Impossible, a Xuanwu Master can't possibly lose."

"Don't believe me?"

Old Man Tianming exhaled a breath of turbid air, slowly walked to Ji Xiaoxiao's side, raised his foot, and then slammed it down hard, crushing Ji Xiaoxiao's calf with a crack.

"Look, the person is already dead."

Although Tianming was seriously injured, he was thrilled to have defeated a formidable opponent.

"Master." Gu Jing beamed with joy, extremely excited.

Haha, Li Jia has missed out on the presidential election again. Gu Jing slightly curled the corners of his lips. Once he is re-elected as president, Li Jia will probably be gone by then.

Old man Tianming turned to leave the stage, but two cold hands grabbed his feet.

"What?"

Old Man Tianming lowered his head and saw Ji Xiaoxiao, who had just died, smiling at him.

"This is bad." Old Man Tianming felt a sense of panic and fear.

With a bang, one of Tianming Old Man's calves exploded into a shower of blood.

"Splash!"

"Aaaaaah..."

Old Man Tianming was stunned for a moment, then stood on one leg, his eyes wide with rage and hatred, which surged like a raging flood, instantly overwhelming his reason. He concentrated his strength in both palms and slammed them down, determined to take Ji Xiaoxiao's wretched life.

Ji Xiaoxiao sneered, and with her other hand pulled, Tianming Elder lost his balance and fell down, his full-force attack naturally missing its mark.

"Pfft, you're faking death." Old Man Tianming said through gritted teeth, "Despicable scoundrel."

"I can't compare to you. The referee didn't announce the start of the match, but you took matters into your own hands and caught me off guard." Ji Xiaoxiao flipped over, staggered to her feet, and her moves were dazzling and fast, directly crippling Tianming's limbs.

"Stop! Stop!" Gu Jing shouted.

Fortune's wheel turns, and this year it's your turn.

Ji Xiaoxiao ignored him, grabbed the half-dead Tianming old man with her five fingers, and pulled him up. "See you in the next life."

"Don't kill..." The old man Tianming's throat was choked.

With a snap, Ji Xiaoxiao broke Tianming's neck.

To ensure that Elder Tianming wasn't playing a trick, Ji Xiaoxiao flung the corpse into the air. As it fell, she pierced the corpse's heart with one hand, tearing out the still-hot heart.

"Xuanwen, I want your life!" Gu Jing roared.

"Victory and defeat are common occurrences in war, Patriarch Gu, please accept my condolences," Li Fei said gloatingly.

"You all need to remember this."

Gu Jing quickly left with the body of Old Man Tianming.

Li Fei was overjoyed at his great victory in leaving home and rewarded Ji Xiaoxiao in turn.

Ji Xiaoxiao's injuries were quite severe, and she had to recuperate at home for a month before she could get out of bed again. As for her calf, which had been crushed by Elder Tianming, it would ache endlessly on rainy days for the rest of her life.

"Sister, does it hurt?" Li Xie asked, tears welling up in her eyes, as she leaned over the bedside.

"It doesn't hurt." Ji Xiaoxiao lied without blushing.

"real?"

"Really, how could my sister lie to our little darling?"

Li Xie pouted, "I'm a man, not a little baby."

Ji Xiaoxiao smiled but remained silent.

Another month passed, and the presidential election officially began.

"What a treacherous Gu family!" Li Fei roared in fury. Ji Xiaoxiao, who was standing outside the door, heard his roar clearly, not missing a single word.

"Master Xuanwu," the martial artist guarding the door said respectfully, then opened the door to the study.

Ji Xiaoxiao walked in and found the study room littered with papers and broken pieces of expensive porcelain.

"Master, what's wrong?" Ji Xiaoxiao asked.

"Oh, it's Master Xuanwu." Li Fei straightened his clothes. "Master Xuanwu, please have a seat."

Ji Xiaoxiao sat down, looking at Li Fei with a worried expression.

Li Fei took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, repeating this three or four times before he felt a little better.

“It’s like this…” Li Fei explained in detail.

After hearing this, Ji Xiaoxiao frowned deeply.

To put it simply, Gu Jing broke the oath made by his ancestors, and the Gu and Li families were defeated in the competition. Yet he still has the audacity to participate in the presidential election.

“Patriarch, things have come to this point, and your anger and resentment will not help. You might as well think about how to bring Gu Jing down. Gu Jing has served as president, with outstanding political achievements and a distinguished reputation. Moreover, he has the backing of a powerful family like the Gu family. His chances of being re-elected are no less than ninety percent.”

Unlike Li Fei, who glared angrily, Ji Xiaoxiao, though disapproving of Gu Jing's despicable behavior, responded with predictable composure and magnanimity. As the saying goes, birds of a feather flock together; Gu Jing, who could be seen with Jin Ya Hui so often, displaying such deep affection, was no ordinary man.

“Master Xuanwu is right.” Li Fei sat down.

The two opened up to each other and spoke freely, and a plan to deal with Gu Jing began to take shape.

“Master Xuanwu, I don’t think this is a good thing.”

Li Fei sat up straight, shook his head, and stared directly at Ji Xiaoxiao, his body naturally tensing up.

"Not good?" If you think it's not good, why not say so sooner? Why wait until they come to a conclusion before making a troubled face?

Hindsight is 20/20!

Ji Xiaoxiao said, "Patriarch, you don't need to hesitate. Gu Jingyan was the one who didn't believe you first, so why should you tolerate her in every way?"

Ji Xiaoxiao sighed. For a large family, Li Fei's indecisiveness was more harmful than beneficial. The real strategy was to act decisively when the time was right, take advantage of the situation, and press the attack. Li Fei was all bark and no bite; he was just a weakling. It would be better for him to give up his position as head of the Li family and find a busy street to sell sweet potatoes.
