Green Bean was a first-class maid, living in a single room in a quiet and beautiful environment.
"Go open the door," Ji Xiaoxiao ordered the third-class maid who had followed her all the way.
The old woman, who was being held hostage by Ji Xiaoxiao, said pitifully, "Huangdou, you have to save this old woman! Don't worry, I will explain to Lvdou later. Lvdou is always kind and understanding, and she won't hold it against you."
The old woman's words implied that she was only temporarily in distress.
The third-class maid, Huangdou, lowered her head in resentment. Green Bean, so understanding? So kind-hearted? Auntie, lying will send you to hell.
"Hurry up, and be quick," the old woman urged.
Huangdou bit his lip, took a step forward, and pushed the door, but the door didn't budge.
"The door is locked from the inside, I can't open it," Huang Dou said, feeling aggrieved.
Heaven knows how terrified she was. Green Bean was infamous for her cruelty, and as a third-class maid in the Pine Tree Courtyard, she had heard of Green Bean's bloody and ruthless methods. Green Bean killed without blinking an eye; how could she possibly escape unscathed for offending him?
"I...I...I'll go ask the young master for help." Huang Dou spoke haltingly, then decisively abandoned the old woman and left quickly.
The old woman was dumbfounded and cursed Huang Dou for being heartless. Ji Xiaoxiao, not wanting to waste time, slapped the old woman on the back and forcefully pushed open the door.
With a loud bang, a cloud of dust was kicked up.
As the dust settled, Ji Xiaoxiao saw a wooden bed directly in front of her. On the bed lay a woman, one hand dangling out the window. Her face was beautiful, but covered in purplish-blue bruises. Her mouth was wide open, blood dripping from it. Her eyes were wide open in anger, clearly unwilling to die.
"Lotus flower".
Arrived a step too late, arrived a step too late.
Ji Xiaoxiao took a deep breath and fixed her gaze on the green bean by the bedside, suppressing his anger.
“Miss, this is Cangsong Courtyard, the Second Young Master’s courtyard, not your desolate secluded courtyard. Did you get the Second Young Master’s permission to come here?” Green Bean scolded Ji Xiaoxiao for not knowing the rules.
Filled with rage, Ji Xiaoxiao stomped on the old woman's ribs, crushing them in her way. The old woman wailed a few times, foaming at the mouth before fainting. It was unclear whether she would survive.
“Green Bean, have you ever heard the saying, ‘What goes around comes around’?” Ji Xiaoxiao stepped forward, now standing right in front of her.
Green Bean was not intimidated by Ji Xiaoxiao, a weak and incompetent little woman without any family backing her up. What did she have to fear? Green Bean lowered her upper body slightly, revealing her jade-like neck, and said softly, "Replying to Miss, I have never heard of her."
Ji Xiaoxiao clapped her hands, "That's wonderful!"
"Great?" Green Bean asked, puzzled.
Ji Xiaoshuo uttered nonsensical words, "So young, yet so ruthless, with blood on her hands. Evil people will go to hell after they die."
Green Bean, momentarily dazed, as if waking from a dream, asked, "Miss, are you trying to kill me?"
The answer to "green bean" was a slap.
“A lowly servant dares to call herself ‘I’? It seems the rules of the Zhengye Marquis’s mansion need to be properly established.” Ji Xiaoxiao twisted her neck and said, “The Zhengye Marquis’s mansion is, after all, my maternal family. I, Gu Shen, will reluctantly do my part and help out.”
Ji Xiaoxiao's attack was as fast as lightning. Green Bean only saw a flash of light before Ji Xiaoxiao broke both her legs, shattering them so badly that she would never be able to walk upright again.
Startled, Green Bean let out a cry of surprise.
Ji Xiaoxiao grew impatient. With one hand, she pinched Lvdou's chin, preventing Lvdou from closing his mouth. With the other hand, she went deep into Lvdou's mouth, her sharp nails digging into his tongue, slowly but easily pulling it out.
The mung beans' resistance was like a mantis trying to stop a chariot; it couldn't even make a ripple.
Ji Xiaoxiao grabbed the mung bean's tongue, her expression calm.
Green Bean nearly fainted, tears blurring her makeup. She sobbed, covering her mouth with her hands, and bright red blood kept flowing out.
"Are you afraid? Desperate? Do you hate me to the core?" Ji Xiaoxiao saw right through Green Bean's thoughts. "This is just the beginning."
Green Bean paused for a moment, then suddenly shook its head.
"Hehehe, I will treat you well."
Ji Xiao said what she meant and did it with 100% sincerity.
A moment later, the quiet courtyard became noisy.
"That wretched woman Gu Shen has barged into my Cangsong Courtyard?"
A loud, arrogant voice, somewhere between a man and a young man, suddenly rang out.
"Young Master, she's with Sister Green Bean."
"How dare she trespass into my courtyard! If I don't teach that bitch a lesson, she won't know who's in charge of the Zhengye Marquis's mansion."
With a loud thud, Duanmu Lei kicked open the door. He landed on the floor as if he had stepped on something sticky. Looking down, he saw a murky, foul-smelling liquid, which appeared to be blood.
"Ah!" someone shouted, pointing tremblingly straight ahead, "A dead person, Sister Green Bean, she, she's dead."
Green Bean looked like a broken doll, its legs twisted into a futon, its head tilted back, its eye sockets empty, its mouth wide open, revealing a wound that had been torn off, ferocious and terrifying. The major arteries in its wrist and neck were gaping open, and it seemed that all the blood in its body had been drained.
Duanmu Lei vomited after just one glance.
"Gu Shen," Duanmu Lei exclaimed in shock.
Ji Xiaoxiao stood beside the corpse of the mung bean, excitedly looking at her work.
"Duanmu Lei, you're next," Ji Xiaoxiao said calmly.
Duanmu Lei glanced at Ji Xiaoxiao with disdain.
Ji Xiaoxiao flicked her hand, and crimson blood splattered all around.
"Gu Shen, do you want to be kicked out of the Zhengye Marquis's mansion?" Duanmu Lei frowned, angrily wiping the dirt off his face.
