Chapter 435 First Love is So Pure, Part 2

Two minutes ago, the teachers who were teaching started leaving one after another.

The school bell rang precisely on time, and the teachers' office immediately became empty.

Ji Xiaoxiao remained completely unfazed by Feng Renkun's exasperated roars.

"I won't break up with you. I like Hu Song," Ji Xiaoxiao said solemnly.

Feng Renkun was stunned for a moment, then flew into a rage.

"What did you say?" he shouted.

Ji Xiaoxiao repeated patiently, "I like Hu Song, we won't break up."

Feng Renkun slammed his fist on the table in anger, the piercing sound startling everyone.

"You're only a few years old and you're already talking about love. You like him, but do you even know what liking someone means? Do you understand emotions?" Feng Renkun shook his head, adopting the air of a worldly sage who had seen through the illusions of the world. He didn't elaborate on Ji Xiaoxiao's ignorance and naivety, but rather, like a seasoned adult pretending to be profound, he cast a tolerant gaze at the bewildered child.

Ji Xiaoxiao subconsciously disliked Feng Renkun's gaze. What did he mean? "I've lived for millions of years, walked more roads than you've crossed bridges, and eaten more salt than you've eaten rice. Are you tired of living and trying to be profound by talking about love with an old woman?"

“Teacher, I know what liking someone is.” Ji Xiao said it so matter-of-factly that Feng Renkun was momentarily stunned. The little girl in front of him was a seasoned veteran of love.

Feng Renkun pursed his lips and said, "Then tell me." Feng Renkun's tone was unfriendly, as if he would exercise his rights as a teacher if Ji Xiaoxiao did not comply with his wishes.

Ji Xiaoxiao met Feng Renkun's gaze, her eyes stubborn and sharp.

"This kind of thing can only be understood intuitively, not explained in words."

Although her words were crude, the reasoning behind them was sound; Ji Xiaoxiao successfully silenced Feng Renkun.

Feng Renkun slammed his hand on the table again, attracting the attention of the two remaining teachers in the office.

"I'm sorry, you're busy, you're busy."

With only three days left until the midterm exams, teachers are busy preparing test papers and racking their brains to subtly leak the questions to students. They are truly exhausted both physically and mentally lately.

Feng Renkun sincerely apologized, and the two teachers went back to their own business.

"Are you really not going to listen to advice?" Feng Renkun asked.

Ji Xiaoxiao answered seriously, "I like Hu Song. Unless Hu Song tells me personally that he doesn't like me anymore, I will continue to follow him."

The person spouting nonsense in front of him was ultimately a minor, a student he had once thought highly of, but she was utterly hopeless, and Feng Renkun couldn't lay a hand on her.

"Go back and have your parents come to the school tomorrow."

Ji Xiaoxiao responded with an "oh".

After leaving the teachers' office, Ji Xiaoxiao focused intently on finishing her classes for the day.

The original owner did not choose to live at school; her home was very close to the school, only a ten-minute round trip. At 9:30 p.m., Ji Xiaoxiao packed her schoolbag and went home.

At the school gate, a furtive figure caught Ji Xiaoxiao's attention.

"Hu Song?" Ji Xiaoxiao asked tentatively.

His figure paused, then he turned around, a bright, almost embarrassed, smile that struck Ji Xiaoxiao's eyes and heart. At that moment, it was like the first rays of the rising sun piercing the darkness, bringing forth light.

"Xiao Lan." Hu Song took a step back, leaning against the high school wall, one hand in his pocket, and turned his head slightly to reveal his perfect and delicate profile.

Trying to look cool?

Ji Xiaoxiao lowered her head, not daring to look Hu Song in the eye. "Why haven't you gone home yet?"

Hu Song considered himself a true man and would never say anything that would damage his manly image, such as "I miss you" or "I want to go home with you."

He raised his head proudly and said, "It's not safe around here, I'll take you home."

The protector of the flower is so stylish!

Unsafe? Who are you kidding!

Ji Xiaoxiao thought to herself, "This child doesn't even bother to think before she lies."

The original owner's hometown was a small coastal city. It was a small place with a small population. Everyone saw each other all the time and became so familiar with each other that they were practically brothers.

Ji Xiaoxiao glanced around discreetly. The bright streetlights were intact, and the alleys on both sides of the street were the territory of night food stalls. Rolling white steam rose and the tempting aroma wafted for miles. The place was bustling with people.

Is this not safe?

Ji Xiaoxiao didn't expose Hu Song's clumsy lie, and said with a blush, "Well, thank you."

"You're welcome, even though we are..." At the crucial moment, Hu Song stopped the car. "Alright, let's go home."

Their homes are in the same direction.

Ji Xiaoxiao replied softly, "Okay."

Under the bright streetlights, the two shadows stretched longer and longer.

"Xiao Lan".

"Hmm, what's wrong?" Ji Xiaoxiao asked, feeling a little flustered.

Hu Song cleared his throat and asked, "What did you go to the office for today?"

Ji Xiaoxiao stopped and reached out to take Hu Song's hand.

"What's wrong?" Hu Song could sense Ji Xiaoxiao's disappointment and fear.

Ji Xiaoxiao said softly, "Our homeroom teacher knows we're dating." After a pause, Ji Xiaoxiao continued, "He told us not to break up."

Hu Song grasped Ji Xiaoxiao's small hand in return, "And you? What's your answer?"

At this moment, Hu Song truly wanted to spend his life with the person in front of him.

Ji Xiaoxiao raised her head, her large, watery eyes sparkling under the light. "I won't agree. Hu Song, I like you, and I want to continue our relationship."

Hu Song was stunned for a moment, then, overcome with emotion, he hugged Ji Xiaoxiao tightly.

"Thank you, thank you."

Ji Xiaoxiao rubbed her cheek against Hu Song's cheek; it was smooth and felt incredibly good.

Hu Song froze. "Xiao Lan, Xiao Lan is rubbing against me, rubbing against me!"

Absolutely gorgeous!
