The windows were tightly shut, not a single breeze could get in.
Hu Song brought in chicken soup, and upon hearing this, he paused in his movements. "Dead."
"Dead?" The mayor's wife was baffled. Had she died silently?

There was no other possibility.”
Just as Ji Xiaoxiao was about to say a few words of comfort to Hu Song, a newborn boy who could only howl disturbed her.
