"Don't disturb my duel." John's eyes were bloodshot; he had completely lost his reason.
Things had come to this point, and his clumsy lie was beyond dispute. He might as well have a proper fight with Arya. If he won, he could die without regrets; if he lost, how could he possibly lose? He was certain of victory, and he couldn't tolerate anyone interfering with his battle for honor.
“John…Big Brother.”
John coldly drew his greatsword, and Annabella was dead beyond any doubt.
“John Forsterman, I’m going to kill you!” Annabella’s mother, Amelia, slammed her hand on the table and stood up, but Chris stopped her.
"Chris, are you going to protect a lowly illegitimate child?"
“No, I just wanted to make you wait a bit. John is a two-star Sword Emperor, quite powerful. It would be better to let Aria wear down most of his power, making it easier for you to go up later,” Chris said almost ruthlessly.
Amelia calmed down and sat back down in her chair. A two-star sword emperor is no simple character; if cornered, he might resort to a suicide attack, leaving Amelia either dead or severely wounded.
Amelia and Chris watched the fight from the sidelines, but Ji Xiaoxiao certainly didn't disappoint them. She and John engaged in a fierce battle, with resounding clangs and sparks flying everywhere. The powerful air currents forced back countless onlookers.
“One strike and the earth splits!” John shouted.
He raised his greatsword high, its strokes fierce and powerful, and swung it down heavily.
With a loud thud, Ji Xiaoxiao barely managed to catch it.
"That's amazing."
"That's John's [One Slash], of course it's powerful." The knowledgeable person explained, "It is said that [One Slash] was created by the Sword God, and its power is boundless. When cultivated to the peak, it can split the heavens and earth and tear apart the starry sky."
Hearing the whispers of those people, Ji Xiaoxiao became even more composed in her response.

As the giant sword swung down, the massive boulder in the Radiant Plaza split apart, sending square stones flying in all directions.
Deliqiu quickly set up a barrier, thus preventing harm to outsiders.
Inside the barrier, smoke and dust billowed, and not a single person could be seen.
When the dust settled, all that could be seen was John, who was now in two halves.
"How come John lost?"
"How did Arya make John so stupid?"
No one understood, but no one reported it to Deliqiusi. Deliqiusi kept a close eye on Ji Xiaoxiao and John. John used the "Double Heaven-Splitting Strike," one of which Ji Xiaoxiao bravely caught, while the other Ji Xiaoxiao circled behind John, and the sword fell, killing him.
"Two people?" Deliqiu slowly closed her eyelids.
Having helped the original owner avenge her, Ji Xiaoxiao waved her sleeves and left the capital without taking a single cloud with her.

Ji Xiaoxiao leaned against a big tree, watching the group of emotionless killers with a smile.
