Chapter 573 The War of the Gods: The Beginning and End (Part 3)

Ji Xiaoxiao held the little tiger beast without moving, then suddenly lifted her eyelids, creating a powerful gust of wind that shot out like swords.

Clang, clang, clang! Sparks flew everywhere, and the bald man staggered backward, sweat beading on his forehead.

"Amazing," the bald man thought, just like everyone else.

Ji Xiaoxiao took a step forward, and the ground beneath her feet cracked rapidly, spreading with lightning speed.

With a loud bang, smoke and dust filled the air, and a horrifying crater three meters in diameter appeared.

"Who are you? State your name," the bald man asked.

A young and promising individual, who surpasses him, should not remain unknown and unnoticed.

Ji Xiaoxiao said, "Go to hell and ask Hades!"

With a whoosh, blood splattered everywhere, and the bald man's head was separated from his body.

Ji Xiaoxiao held the little tiger monster in one arm, while her other hand was covered in warm, disgusting blood. She shook her hand, and the blood splattered, leaving her hand clean as before.

"You...you actually killed the captain." The bald man's soldier pointed at Ji Xiaoxiao in terror, his fingers trembling, showing no trace of a soldier's toughness and fortitude.

"What, you want to avenge your captain?" Ji Xiaoxiao took a small step. "Then hurry up, I have something to do later."

Instead of charging forward bravely, they abandoned their armor and weapons, crumbled completely, and scattered in all directions.

Ji Xiaoxiao was too lazy to acknowledge it, knowing that a boss would eventually come looking for her.

Back at the hotel, Ji Xiaoxiao gave the little tiger monster a bath. The little tiger monster's fur became even fluffier, round and chubby like a ball. When its big, watery eyes stared straight at Ji Xiaoxiao, Ji Xiaoxiao almost knelt down in admiration.

"My darling baby, you're so cute! I love you the most."

Ji Xiaoxiao rubbed her face against the little tiger monster, and the little tiger monster howled a few times before obediently letting Ji Xiaoxiao knead and shape it.

"What is this?"

A powerful aura rushed straight towards the inn.

Ji Xiaoxiao patted the little tiger monster's head, "Be a good boy and go to sleep in bed. Don't make a fuss. Mommy is going out for a little while. I'll bring you something delicious when I come back."

"Awoo!" the little tiger demon cried out.

As soon as she finished speaking, Ji Xiaoxiao was no longer in the room.

Five meters outside the hotel, a muscular man stood on the roof, his back to the sun. In the shadows, his eyes flashed a strange and terrifying red light.

"So you're the one who beat my son and killed the woman who worked for me?" Kohlberg said.

Ji Xiaoxiao's eyes darted around; there were at least a hundred people around her, and they were all quite strong.

"If I say it wasn't me, would you believe me?" Ji Xiaoxiao asked rhetorically.

"I don't believe it." Kohlberg curled his lips into a cold smile.

Kohlberg is the lord of Iron Bucket City. He is powerful, intelligent, and has keen insight, able to discern the truthfulness of a person's words at a glance.

"If you don't believe me, why are you asking? You're so long-winded and nagging, like a gossipy old woman!" Ji Xiaoxiao said disdainfully, arms crossed and eyebrows raised.

Kohlberg clenched his fist, making a cracking sound.

"You're asking for death." Enraged that a woman had humiliated him, Kohlberg gave the order, and his personal guards, armed with guns and swords, surrounded Ji Xiaoxiao.

"You little brat, surrender obediently and I might spare your life. If you resist, don't blame me for being ruthless."

Even the bald man, whose strength was second only to his, was easily killed by that woman with a single move, demonstrating her unfathomable power. Kohlberg had his own plans: he wanted to win over as many strong individuals as possible. Only by having more and more powerful people gather in his camp could his position as city lord be secure.

Ji Xiaoxiao was unaware of Kohlberg's ulterior motives, assuming that like father, like son, the bear-like man in front of her had also taken a liking to her.

To expect her to submit to a plain-looking, rough man who doesn't know how to be gentle is a pipe dream.

"Enough with the nonsense, bring out your tricks."

After saying that, Ji Xiaoxiao made the first move.

Strike first and you'll be strong; strike later and you'll suffer. With a single move, Ji Xiaoxiao casually reaped eight lives.

Since that woman was ungrateful, Kohlberg said, "Kill her."

Kohlberg watched coldly, waiting for Ji Xiaoxiao to exhaust her strength, become depleted, and be physically and mentally exhausted.

Ji Xiaoxiao went on a killing spree, leaving the streets littered with corpses and rivers of blood in the short span of her world.

"I advise you to stop. You only have one life," Ji Xiaoxiao said as she killed. "Think about it carefully. You fought your bloody battles, but your city lord didn't move an inch and just watched coldly as I slaughtered you all."

"You're talking nonsense. The city lord has other plans."

Ji Xiaoxiao chuckled softly, "I understand your city lord's little scheme. He just wants to use you to deplete my fighting spirit, and when my strength is exhausted, he will strike hard and easily take my head."

No, it won't.

"No way?" Ji Xiaoxiao stopped what she was doing. "You can ask them yourselves. I won't do anything now."

The soldiers looked at each other, and finally one of their leaders stepped forward and asked, "Lord, why don't you make a move? We are no match for that woman. Please, Lord, intervene."

The city lord, a seven-star grand swordsman and a potential sword emperor, is one of the top experts in Iron Bucket City. With the city lord's intervention, their victory is assured.

Kohlberg's gaze was cold. This woman was truly extraordinary. With just a few words, she had made his men stop and even develop rebellious thoughts.

She deserves to die!

They deserve to die even more!

Kohlberg wasn't stupid. He didn't choose to take action against the disloyal soldiers at this time. Since he needed manpower, he reluctantly continued to use them, treating them as a waste of resources.
