Ji Xiaoxiao, in a protective stance, braced her hands against the wall. Half of her body was riddled with holes, large and small, most of her bones and muscles reduced to blood and buried deep in the earth, soaking the soil in the prison. In a small corner, Su Jieke, his face covered in blood, sat with an indescribable mix of shock and fear in his eyes, a glimmer hidden in the darkness.
"Su Jie, are you alright?" Huang Liuyi rushed forward, pushed aside the bloodied figure in front of her, and carefully examined Su Jie's body from head to toe, inside and out.
Time seemed endless. Already exhausted of spiritual energy and severely damaged in body, Ji Xiaoxiao's jaw loosened when pushed like that. The Ghost Chain Screw broke through Ji Xiaoxiao's body with lightning speed and flew straight towards Su Jieke.
