"Li Yichen, you're just a mere prince. Who gave you the audacity to abduct innocent women right under the emperor's nose?" Ji Xiaoxiao looked down at him with an air of righteous indignation, as if she were a fairy descending from the heavens to bestow blessings and save the people from suffering.
"I did not forcibly abduct any innocent woman; I merely wished to invite her up for a cup of tea. Heaven is watching, and I swear I had no ill intentions." Li Yichen scrambled to his feet, resorting to an oath to prove his innocence.
Ji Xiaoxiao looked at the sincere Li Yichen with disdain, then smiled and flew down, carefully considering Li Yichen's words, "Absolutely no ill intentions?"
After a moment of deep thought, Ji Xiaoxiao's eyes gleamed, and her malicious smile sent a chill down Li Yichen's spine.
"Ah!" Ji Xiaoxiao suddenly slapped Li Yichen.
"You must not resist. If you resist, I will think that what you said before was a lie." Ji Xiaoxiao looked around, found the item she wanted, and walked over to get it herself.
The bustling main street was filled with everything imaginable: eggs, vegetable leaves, and more.
Ji Xiaoxiao gave him the silver, then threw the eggs and vegetable leaves at Li Yichen, a man of immense wealth and status. Li Yichen, second only to the emperor, had never suffered such humiliation. Unable to bear it any longer, the prince shouted, and a group of guards sprang up from the shadowy corners and rooftops like mushrooms after rain.
"Kill! Kill that arrogant little wench for me!" Li Yichen retreated to a safe place, directing his guards to take a risky move with one hand.
