Inside the hill in the Abyss Valley.
Ji Xiaoxiao tried to stay as far away as possible, turned her back, covered her ears with her hands, and closed her eyes tightly.
"I'm sorry, Star Lord, this is an extraordinary situation, and extraordinary measures are needed."
The worm had seeped deep into his bones, and Hebrew was doomed. He couldn't produce anything, so he could only stand by and accompany Ji Xiaoxiao as she endured what his brothers were doing.
Ji Xiaoxiao understood, of course. However, despite her understanding, as a woman, she still found it hard to bear. She was both excited and passionate, yet also felt an overwhelming urge to extend her evil claws and do whatever she wanted to the soldiers who were striving hard.
This, that, and this again—this is just a normal woman's fantasy!
Arriving at the cave entrance and feeling the cool breeze, Ji Xiaoxiao's restless body heat gradually subsided. She looked up at the bright moon hanging overhead, with a few sparse dark clouds drifting slowly by.
At night, the air carries the unique fragrance of the forest, and the sounds of birds and animals rise and fall. Here, life is vibrant yet utterly silent, full of the charm of life, yet permeated with the scent of death, complex yet as natural as the rising and setting of the sun.
“Star Lord.” Hebrew followed and, seeing Ji Xiaoxiao’s sorrowful expression, couldn’t help but speak up.
Ji Xiaoxiao remained motionless. "What's wrong?"
"Star Lord, General Mu Sen and the others will be alright." Hebrew was simple-minded and thought Ji Xiaoxiao was worried about Mu Sen's safety.
Ji Xiaoxiao responded with an "oh".
Hebrew paused, then gritted his teeth and said, "Lord Star, I will make sure General Musen and the others are safe and sound, I swear." A whole bunch of men were powerless, forcing a woman to take such a risk. If they didn't do something, what kind of men would they be?
“I understand.” Ji Xiaoxiao smiled, then said with concern, “I’m not worried about Mu Sen and the others, but about Sacryton, and about us humans. It’s really making me anxious.”
"Lord Star, you are not alone, you still have us." They are soldiers, and they have the responsibility and obligation to shed blood and sacrifice their lives to protect their country and drive away wolves and tigers.
Ji Xiaoxiao sighed, like an elderly person lamenting the helplessness and regret of their youthful days.
"Because of me and you all, I'm even more tormented. I'm tormented by how I can do everything I can to save your lives. As your leader, I don't want any of you to sacrifice yourselves. But Sacramento is surrounded by tigers in front and wolves in the back; dangers keep piling up, and countless people in Sacramento have died. The Dark Aliens wage war from time to time, and every war is accompanied by the shattering of countless families. The lives and deaths of millions depend on my decision... I..." The pressure is immense. If the mission fails, I don't know how the adults will punish me!
Damn, this mission is too difficult. At first, Ji Xiaoxiao didn't fully understand the situation and thought that as long as she controlled the forces left behind by the original owner, defeating Long Aotian would be a piece of cake. But with the Dark Star People interfering, it's really harder than climbing to heaven for Ji Xiaoxiao to complete the mission.
The Hebrew opened his mouth, but did not know what to say. He could not help the Star Lord in his distress.
For a moment, the two, whose brainwaves were worlds apart, were speechless.
An hour later, a soldier with a pale face came to report on Ji Xiaoxiao's mission progress.
"Alright, let's go in!"
Passing by two trembling, swaying soldiers, Ji Xiaoxin was filled with countless thoughts, too many to express in words. She could only pat the soldier on the shoulder as encouragement.
"No, Lord Star, I... I am very strong." Faced with that kind of question, no man is honest and straightforward enough to admit that he is not as good as others.
"I know you guys are the best, I know."
"Star Lord, you are... no, I am very powerful."
"Yes, yes, yes, you're the best." Ji Xiaoxiao stopped and said solemnly.
The soldier endured it, following behind Ji Xiaoxiao with a wronged expression, glancing at her from time to time, hesitant to speak.
Back inside the cave, Hebrew was holding a small jar, grinning foolishly.
"Lord Star, with these things, I will definitely be able to save General Musen and the others."
After saying this, Hebrew, carrying the jar, carefully climbed back up the white pillar.
Perhaps because the jar was leaking air, the large white pillar became extremely unstable, swaying from side to side, as if trying to knock the jar from Hebrew's arms and enjoy the food alone.
Hebrew steadily climbed to Musen's side, opened the jar, and used his hand to smear the contents onto the surface of the large white pillar. The white pillar's surface rippled like waves, absorbing the contents. Just then, Hebrew reacted swiftly, holding the jar in one hand and pulling Musen out with a strong tug.
"It really works." The place where General Musen and his men were trapped was similar to a human's feeding opening, or mouth. It was usually tightly closed, but it opened to feast when they needed to eat. General Musen and his men were kept in the mouth by the large white pillar, which teased and provoked them as much as possible. When their mouths opened, it meant that the binding force had disappeared.
Hebrew silently opened its mouth towards Ji Xiaoxiao, who immediately dispatched a small, cobbled-together remote-controlled airplane. The airplane flew silently above Hebrew, its underside opened, and a metal claw slowly descended, firmly gripping Mu Sen.
Hebrew tugged at the air, remaining as steady as a mountain, and then nodded with a huge gesture.
The small plane rose into the air, and Mu Sen flew little by little towards Ji Xiaoxiao. After going back and forth many times and working for a long time, only Hebrew remained at the white pillar.
"Come back quickly." Ji Xiaoxiao waved to Hebrew.
Hebrew took a step, and the moment his front foot touched the ground, his right hand exploded.
