"No, don't come any closer! Don't come any closer! I am the Crown Prince, you can't touch me!"
Zheng Jincheng shrank into the corner, waving his pitiful hands, trying to hold off a thousand men.
Ji Xiaoxiao gave a signal, and the two guards at the gate swiftly and decisively grabbed Zheng Jincheng's limbs. Zheng Jincheng struggled violently, like a mad dog biting anyone in its path. The two guards were no pushovers; they gripped him tightly, and Zheng Jincheng was unable to move.
"Go ahead!" Ji Xiaoxiao glanced at the fat eunuch who was standing there dumbfounded from shock.
The chubby eunuch secretly wiped the sweat from his brow and said cautiously, "Your Majesty, who said he is the Crown Prince? If this servant were to lay a hand on him, it would be a crime punishable by the extermination of nine generations of his family. This servant would never dare to do such a thing." The chubby eunuch had never met Zheng Jincheng, and based solely on the principle of avoiding trouble, he decided to refrain from touching that effeminate man if possible!
Ji Xiaoxiao's cold and fierce aura emanated from within as she coldly said, "Should a person listen to the nonsense of a dog slave? I'm giving you one last chance. Make your move."
Now that things have come to this, if the fat eunuch doesn't make a move, then Ji Xiaoxiao should make hers, but instead of Zheng Jincheng, she'll target a disobedient servant.
A dog is fine as long as it obeys!
"Better to die than to die, my friend." Regardless of whether that effeminate man was Prince Zheng Jincheng or not, the fat eunuch, under pressure from Ji Xiaoxiao, had to sacrifice Zheng Jincheng if he didn't want to die.
"Yes, Your Majesty, this servant obeys."
The fat eunuch took a small knife out of the box.
Zheng Jincheng was so enraged that his eyes widened in horror, and he was so filled with hatred that he fainted from the shock.
When the cold touch of the knife came into contact with the warm body, Zheng Jincheng tried to flatter and fawn over Ji Xiaoxiao in a humble voice, but Ji Xiaoxiao ignored him and kept her eyes glued to the craftsman's work.
The blade sliced through his skin, and Zheng Jincheng, utterly spineless, wet himself in fear.
Ji Xiaoxiao frowned in disgust and urged the fat eunuch to hurry up. In his panic, the fat eunuch didn't know his own strength, and Zheng Jincheng didn't even have time to cry out before his eyes closed, white foam came out of his mouth, his limbs twitched, and he completely fell into darkness.
After glancing at the half-dead Zheng Jincheng, Ji Xiaoxiao ordered that no one should die. She then returned to her clean bedroom, took three baths, and finally ate a proper meal.
On a summer night, the stars twinkle and the bright moon hangs high in the dark sky. A gentle breeze blows, occasionally bringing a few gray-black clouds that mischievously obscure the brilliance of the stars and moon, adding dappled light and shadow to the ground.
"Faster, faster, ah... okay... faster..."
Inside the Crown Prince's residence, in a magnificent room, a handsome man and a beautiful woman were passionately engaged in a passionate encounter.
The panting sounds carried a blush-inducing quality. Luo Qinghou stood outside the door, his rough face showing a mixture of anger and resentment, like a lonely, resentful woman confined to her empty room.
"Ah..." the woman in the room gasped, "Move faster."
After a pause, a rolling sound came from inside the room.
"Useless trash, you can't even last six tries, get out."
With a creak, the door opened, and a man emerged, his legs trembling, his face pale and weak.
"General," the man called out, then stumbled and ran away quickly.
In his desperation, the man forgot he was exhausted. His body swayed, and he tripped over his own feet, falling flat on his face. Dazed, he got up and inadvertently caught a glimpse of the femme fatale in the room. He gasped, then fled as fast as a monster could chase him.
The man's clothes were disheveled, fluttering as he ran, yet his imposing figure was clearly visible and apparent. Luo Qing lowered his head weakly, the grinding of his teeth grating on his ears.
"Father, come in!"
Luo Qing hesitated for a moment, then gritted his teeth, hardened his heart, and stepped into the room.
With his head bowed and eyes lowered, Luo Qing maintained a composed and businesslike demeanor.
The woman chuckled softly and said, "Father, raise your head."
Luo Qing responded immediately. As his eyes received the image and it entered his brain, Luo Qing's body trembled, his steady breathing gradually became rapid, and a barely perceptible flush appeared on his dark face.
"You...you..." Luo Qing finally knew what shame was.
"Father, what brings you to my Crown Prince's residence?"
Luo Qingshuang pulled up a thin white gauze robe to wrap herself up and got out of bed unhurriedly.
Luo Qing's Adam's apple bobbed as he turned his head away and said loudly, "The Crown Prince has spent two consecutive nights at Yanjue Palace without returning home. I fear that the Crown Prince's life is in danger. I beg the Crown Princess to lend a helping hand and save the Crown Prince from this predicament."
Luo Qingshuang beckoned with her finger, and Luo Qing subconsciously shifted his feet. Coming to his senses, he glared at Luo Qingshuang with a mixture of embarrassment and anger, a look that resembled a coquettish scolding.
"Hahaha... Father, you're still so adorable."
Luo Qingshuang's cheerful laughter made Luo Qing blush furiously. He stood there awkwardly, embarrassed and uneasy, his eyes darting around, his face as red as blood. From this scene, one could deduce that beneath Luo Qing's rugged exterior lay a tender, girlish heart.
"Shut up, it's refreshing," Luo Qing said coquettishly.
Luo Qingshuang knew when to stop, so she shut her mouth and sat quietly, her smiling face turning serious and convincing, which looked quite intimidating.
"Didn't Hu Miaotian love that good-for-nothing Zheng Jincheng the most? What kind of suffering could he possibly endure at Yanjue Palace?" Luo Qingshuang narrowed her eyes and speculated, "Father, could that be just an excuse? You came here today not for Zheng Jincheng, but to catch up with your daughter."
Luo Qingshuang stood up and extended her hand to Luo Qing.
Luo Qing glanced at it but didn't take it, saying, "Qing Shuang, you've been hanging out with those people for too long, and your eyes and ears are clouded. You don't know that Hu Miaotian has undergone a tremendous change. Yesterday, Father and the other officials went to Yan Jue Palace to force Hu Miaotian to hand over His Highness the Crown Prince. Hu Miaotian not only uttered arrogant words, but also attacked Lord Zhao and Father and me."
