Chapter 377 The Ten School Princes Dismembered

After standing there for a while, Ji Xiaoxiao walked to the three-year-old child's side, squatted down, and carefully picked the child up.

"this?"

The three-year-old child looks exactly like Xuan Xie when he was a child.

A crack slowly appeared in her heart, from which flowed a feeling of tenderness and longing. Ji Xiaoxiao revealed a look of nostalgia.

"Adopt him! Protect him! Love him!"

Ji Xiaoxiao sighed and decided to do as the original owner wished. She arrived too late; the original owner's younger brother, husband, and children had all died tragically, and her parents had been beaten to death by thugs after learning the truth, leaving her family destroyed and all alone.

The original owner's only wish was to personally avenge her enemies. Even if she were to avenge the original owner and brutally kill the culprit, it wouldn't necessarily mean she had completed her mission perfectly. Perhaps adopting a child who looks remarkably like Xuan Xie would bring her unexpected rewards—a chance to remember him by seeing his image!

Ji Xiaoxiao examined the three-year-old child's body. He was covered in bruises, skin and bones, with sunken eyes, dry and yellow hair, and rough fingers, indicating that he had done a lot of heavy work. This was no longer the youngest son of the head of the Li family; he was clearly a little beggar born in a garbage dump.

No gold is pure, no man is perfect, and Li Fei is no exception.

Ji Xiaoxiao called over her assistant martial arts instructor and asked him to keep an eye on the group of brats, while she carried her three-year-old child to the medical station in the corner of the training ground.

"Master Xuanwu, why are you holding your child? He's a god of bad luck; whoever touches him will be unlucky." The doctor looked terrified and backed away repeatedly.

Ji Xiaoxiao glared at him, releasing a bit of the pressure of a Heavenly-level expert. "It's one thing for a child to say such things, after all, they are young and ignorant. But you, you've been to school, you've read books, you're a doctor who saves lives, yet you believe baseless rumors. Did you waste your education, or do you want to watch someone die?"

"No, Xuanwu Master, I just..." The doctor glanced tremblingly at the furious Ji Xiaoxiao, then shut his mouth and obediently treated the three-year-old's injuries.

Thirty minutes later, Ji Xiaoxiao carried her three-year-old son back to her room.

"Sleep well, don't be afraid." The three-year-old's brows were furrowed, as if he had a nightmare. After a pause, Ji Xiaoxiao bent down and kissed the three-year-old's forehead. After all, the three-year-old was Li Fei's biological son, and she needed to inform Li Fei before raising him.

Ji Xiaoxiao left the room, and the three-year-old child suddenly opened his eyes, touching incredulously the spot where Ji Xiaoxiao had kissed him. It was warm and felt very comfortable.

"She's so nice!" the three-year-old thought.

Ji Xiaoxiao requested an audience with Li Fei and explained her purpose to him.

Li Fei was taken aback for a moment, then said, "This is also his good fortune. I will trouble you, Master Xuanwu, from now on."

"It's nothing." Ji Xiaoxiao waved her hand and quickly left.

Back on the third level of the underground training grounds, Ji Xiaoxiao calmly taught the little brat basic breathing techniques. As a teacher, her primary duty should be to impart knowledge and skills.

At five o'clock in the afternoon, Ji Xiaoxiao twisted her neck, making a clicking sound.

Being a teacher is a heavy responsibility and a moral obligation; it's truly not an easy job.

Ji Xiaoxiao remembered the three-year-old child in the room and carried the steaming hot food back.

After placing the food on the bedside table, Ji Xiaoxiao gently woke the three-year-old child.

"Wake up, dinner is ready."

The three-year-old suddenly sat up, his forehead slamming into Ji Xiaoxiao's nose. The three-year-old looked around, then rolled over, trying to get out of bed, seemingly eager to do something.

"What's wrong? Do you need to go to the bathroom?"

Ji Xiaoxiao reached out and hugged the three-year-old child, leading him to the toilet.

"No, it's getting dark, I need to go back," the three-year-old said.

"Go back where?" Ji Xiaoxiao asked softly.

"I...I need to go back and wash the dishes, otherwise we won't have dinner tonight."

Just then, the three-year-old's stomach rumbled.

Upon hearing this, Ji Xiaoxiao laughed and said, "No need to go back. From today onwards, you'll live with me. Are you hungry? Let's go wash our faces and hands first, and then we'll eat."

To soothe the child, Ji Xiaoxiao unconsciously repeated the same word.

After washing his face and getting ready to eat, the clean three-year-old sat in his chair, his eyes fixed on the food that Ji Xiaoxiao brought over and placed on the coffee table.

"Don't bother looking, just eat quickly, it won't taste good if it gets cold."

Ji Xiaoxiao picked up the chopsticks and gently handed them to the three-year-old child.

The three-year-old looked at Ji Xiaoxiao, who smiled gently and didn't speak ill of him or kick him. Holding chopsticks in one hand and a rice bowl in the other, she looked as if she hadn't eaten for hundreds of years, and swallowed the food whole.

"Don't rush, there's plenty more. We'll talk about it if we're still hungry," Ji Xiaoxiao naggard. "Don't just eat rice, have some vegetables too, they're delicious."

Ten minutes later, Ji Xiaoxiao snatched the bowl from the three-year-old child's hand.

The three-year-old child stared blankly up at the sky, his eyes filled with tears and devoid of hope.

"Are you like them?"
