Chapter 439 First Love is So Pure (Part 6)

The ashtray smashed hard onto Hu Shiquan's head.

Hu Shiquan cried out in pain, losing all interest.

"What's wrong with you?" Hu Shiquan clutched his sore spot, the sticky blood fueling his anger. "If I don't give you a good beating today, you won't know who I am!"

Hu Shiquan clenched his fist, but before he could throw a punch, a sharp pain suddenly struck his lower body. He bent over, covering his private parts without any regard for his image.

"You dare to fight back?"

Since they've already fought, what is there for Hu Song not to dare to do?

Hu Song put down the ashtray. This thing was too powerful; he was afraid that he might accidentally take Hu Shiquan's worthless life.

Ah, he's endured it for so long, we can't just let him off so easily!

Hu Song was young and strong. He easily tied up Hu Shiquan and dragged him into the basement.

The basement was dark and damp, with the faint chirping of mice.

"what are you up to?"

"I am the mayor. My disappearance is big news. You, a criminal, cannot escape."

Hu Song paused, turned around, and said, "Do you think I went to that kind of banquet with you because I was really afraid of you? Do you think I would have done nothing while I was there?"

Hu Shiquan was dumbfounded and speechless.

“We are father and son, so what you can do, I can do too,” Hu Song said. “So, even if I kill you, I will be fine. Besides, I’m not trying to kill you or hide the fact that I’ve imprisoned you. I, Hu Song, can do that. Hu Shiquan, from today onwards, stop dreaming that your disappearance will cause a huge uproar, that the police will follow the clues to catch me, and that I will rescue you. I advise you to stop dreaming about that. Calm down and face reality.”

Gradually, Hu Shiquan lost all his confidence.

"Let me go, and now we can talk things out."

"Hu Song, did you hear that?"

"Song'er, Daddy was wrong."

Hu Song ignored Hu Shiquan's clamor. He took out an iron chain, locked one end to Hu Shiquan's small feet, and tied the other end to a thick iron pipe.

Hu Shiquan twisted his body; he didn't want to be imprisoned.

Hu Song kicked Hu Shiquan in the stomach angrily, "Behave yourself."

That voice was devoid of warmth, utterly cold.

When you're under someone's roof, you have to bow your head. A wise person knows when to yield. Hu Shiquan bit his lip hard and secretly cursed Hu Song with his eyes, wishing him a terrible death.

Hu Song looked around the basement and found a small iron hammer.

"No, no!" Hu Shiquan cried out in terror.

Why does the iron hammer in Hu Song's hand look so familiar?

Hu Shiquan shivered, his blood rushed back to his head, and his hands and feet felt icy cold.

"I know I was wrong, I know I was wrong, I know I was wrong." Hu Shiquan was in tears, and his sincere apology was very touching.

Hu Song remained expressionless, squatted down, and slowly pounded Hu Shiquan's calf with a small iron hammer. At first, there was only a slight pain, but as the pain accumulated and the injury worsened, Hu Shiquan couldn't help but wail in agony.

Smack, smack, Hu Shiquan's calves were gradually pounded into minced meat.

Nothing in this world is difficult if you set your mind to it.

The flesh of his calves was mangled beyond recognition, but when it came to the bones, Hu Song struck with the force of thunder. Breaking them wasn't enough; they had to be shattered, crushed to pieces.

After an unknown amount of time, Hu Shiquan became disabled.

Hu Song treated his wounds to prevent him from bleeding out too much and dying from infection.

It was almost time, so Hu Song packed his things and left the basement.

Outside the basement stood five people: two men and three women. The men were all in their thirties, with robust builds. Of the three women, one was around forty years old, the Hu family's cook, and the other two were young maids who cleaned the house.

"Young master, are you all better?" the old woman said excitedly.

"Alright," Hu Song said calmly, unbuttoning his shirt. "Who wants to go first?"

The two men exchanged a glance and said, "Anyway, we don't need your help, so let them go first."

The men stepped back a few paces to make room.

Hu Song placed his hand on the belt and slowly pulled it out.

"Have you all forgotten what you promised me?"

The five people paused for a moment, then said in unison, "We won't forget."

Hu Song nodded contentedly and lay quietly on the cold ground.

At midnight, Ji Xiaoxiao stood at the gate, looking around.

"Xiao Lan, it's chilly outside, come in and wait," Yang's father called out loudly.

Ji Xiaoxiao said "I know," but still stood still.

It's already midnight, why isn't Hu Song back yet?

The phone rang.

Yang's mother picked up the microphone, listened for a moment, and said to Ji Xiaoxiao, "Xiaolan, it's Song'er."

Ji Xiaoxiao rushed in, "Hu Song, why didn't you come back?"

On the other end of the receiver came Hu Song's hoarse voice, "I have some things to take care of and need to stay there for a few days. Don't worry."

"But……."

Before Ji Xiaoxiao could finish speaking, Hu Song hung up the phone.

Holding the microphone for a long time, Ji Xiaoxiao felt uneasy. She wanted to go to Hu Song and ask him for an explanation, but a voice in her heart kept telling her that if she went to Hu Song now, he would die, and she would be the murderer.

Feeling inexplicably fearful and worried, Ji Xiaoxiao dared not act recklessly.

After waiting for five days, Hu Song stood at the gate of the Yang family's house with a radiant smile.

"Xiao Lan, I'm back."

Hu Song smiled brightly, but Ji Xiaoxiao could see the fatigue beneath his smile.

Ji Xiaoxiao went up and hugged Hu Song, whispering in his ear, "Thank you for your hard work. It's good to be back."

With just this one sentence, Hu Song's shoulders trembled, as if he were crying.

“Despicable, despicable! How can you ask me how to let you go?” Hu Song choked out.
