Before the queen could react, a slap landed heavily on her face.
The Queen covered her face with her hands, her eyes full of disbelief and grievance: "Your Majesty, you hit me?"
The Emperor was furious and roared, "Fools! You didn't even bother trying to persuade the Crown Prince, but plotted against Lan Xiyue in the palace? Is Mo Liyuan stupid? Would you let you succeed against the person dearest to him?"
After saying this, he seemed to have thought of something, his tone tinged with helplessness and anger.
