Debate
Ding Ran was furious and looked annoyed, as if he had quarreled with someone and was bullied.
Shan Jiqing immediately said tactfully, "Nannan, it sounds like you have something to do over there. I'll hang up first." Although he didn't know what it was specifically, it sounded like a big deal. If there was any need later, Jian Jianan would tell him.
"Okay, let's talk on the phone next time."
After Jian Jianan finished talking to her boyfriend, she looked at Ding Ran leisurely.
"Xiao Ran, what's wrong? Were you bullied by someone?"
Ding Ran had just rushed into the dormitory and hadn't reacted to what Jian Jianan was doing when the words asking her for help came out of her mouth.
Only now did I realize that before I came in, Jian Jianan was talking to her boyfriend on the phone!
She felt a little embarrassed, but she still had to focus on her work, so she said, "I really don't know what to do about this. I don't know who else to turn to except you."
Seeing that Ding Ran, who was usually the calmest and most composed, was slurring her words, Jian Jianan immediately comforted her, "Okay, okay, I'll definitely help you if I can! Just take your time and talk. Don't rush. Take your time. Don't rush."
Ding Ran's chest heaved violently for several times, and only after Jian Jianan's efforts to comfort him did he calm down.
"It's like this, Nannan..."
From Ding Ran's words, Jian Jianan gradually understood what was going on.
It turns out that there is an economics newspaper that has emerged recently on the market, called "The Economist". Every day, experts and scholars related to economics will express their opinions in this newspaper.
Ding Ran is preparing to continue her studies at the graduate school this year, and her advisor suggested that she try submitting an article to The Economist.
Although Ding Ran is still a student, her professional qualities and academic level are far beyond ordinary people. Her teacher thinks that Ding Ran can give it a try.
Anyway, the daily newspaper does not consider your age or qualifications when accepting submissions, but rather the quality of your manuscript. Her mentor is still convinced of Ding Ran's writing ability.
When Ding Ran heard this, he immediately started preparing for the relevant submission work.
After all, she graduated from the Central University of Finance and Economics. She studied diligently and conscientiously during her four years in college and never dared to slack off for a moment. Her first draft passed the review of the daily newspaper and was successfully published.
Not only that, it was also agreed by many people. Everyone spoke freely in public newspapers, and Ding Ran's opinions became the truth that many people regarded as the guiding principle.
Encouraged by this, Ding Ran's morale was greatly boosted, and she became more and more eager to submit articles. For several months, any free time she had was used to write articles.
But the good times did not last long. The emerging Ding Ran was soon noticed by someone. This person was a veteran writer for The Economist and he published his first paper in it on the day it was founded.
After nearly a year of accumulation, he has accumulated a large number of fans.
This person's pen name is "Fenghe", but his writing style is completely different from the peaceful pen name. It is very sharp and not peaceful at all.
It's more like a tornado. Wherever there is peace, it will use all its strength to stir up chaos and make that place never peaceful.
As a result, many people called him a "stickler" behind his back, thinking that he was always looking for trouble and pretending to be on the right side even when there was no reason, and then used his pen as a weapon to fight the other party.
Of course, this battle is often a unilateral act of his wishful thinking.
Perhaps it was the sudden rise of Ding Ran, a young man, that diverted a lot of his attention, and he felt that people's attention to him was greatly reduced.
So, can this "Fenghe" endure it?
Of course not!
He has always regarded himself as the leading author of The Economist and was complacent about this title. Now a young man who came out of nowhere has stolen his thunder. He will never allow this to happen and will definitely get back at him.
So, starting last week, Ding Ran was surprised to find that every time she published an article in The Economist the day before, she expressed a certain kind of opinion.
Then Feng He must write the same article in The Economist the next day, and this article will be a rebuttal to Ding Ran’s previous article.
Jian Jianan took the newspaper from Ding Ran's hand, unfolded it, and examined it carefully before coming to his own conclusion: "What the hell, Feng He, right? He's definitely targeting you!"
"Look, you proposed yesterday that our current national economic policy should still be based on encouragement to stimulate continued economic development, but his article today denounces you as a traitor. I wonder what your intentions are."
"His article doesn't contain a single point of his own opinion; it's all just a refutation of yours. Furthermore, he's blown it out of proportion, turning what was originally a war between economics scholars into something else entirely."
After hearing what Jian Jianan said, Ding Ran nodded repeatedly.
"Yes, yes! Nannan, you are right, that's it!"
She felt like she had found a savior with whom she shared a common language. "At first, I thought he was just giving me guidance. After all, I could tell from his writing that he was older and must have a much better understanding of the subject than I did."
"Having such a highly professional scholar to communicate with me, even if we have different opinions, I admire such a person and am willing to have a good exchange with him."
"And yet... and yet! And yet, this person is completely targeting me! He's not discussing theoretical knowledge with me, nor is he debating with me. He's just scolding me for the sake of scolding me, scolding me for no reason in order to get back at me."
Jian Jianan nodded, "Yes, Xiaoran, he is like this. His full malice is revealed through every article he writes. Don't doubt yourself too much. If you don't think too much, he is targeting you!"
Thinking of this, Jian Jianan put his arm around Ding Ran's shoulders and let her rest her head on his shoulder.
Ding Ran said in a sweet voice, "Once I realized his dark thoughts, I definitely couldn't bear it! Do you think I could bear it? Definitely not!"
"So, I wrote an article to refute his views and started a debate with him in The Economist."
Ding Ran may be afraid of things in life and think that less trouble is worse than more, but this does not mean that she is willing to keep quiet in the academic field. On the contrary, when it comes to professional matters, she is definitely not the kind of person who is afraid of things and is unwilling to make big things small.
Of course Ding Ran chose to confront it head-on!
"So, did you discover something remarkable from the positive article?"
When Ding Ran heard this, he immediately raised his head from Jian Jianan's shoulder and said to her quickly: "I don't think this Feng He is that professional!"
Jian Jianan nodded, agreeing very much with Ding Ran's opinion: "Yes, I found it too."
Feng He's popularity with The Economist was likely due to his time advantage. He was one of the first scholars to publish there, and with his limited economics knowledge, he managed to fool quite a few people. However, compared to someone with a genuine understanding of economics, like Ding Ran, he still lacked the fortitude to shine.
Ding Ran said this with a smug smile, "Of course I wrote an article to refute him. Little did I know he was a paper tiger, ignorant of anything. Under my intellectual criticism, he was completely led by the nose."
Jian Jianan smiled and said, "That's great! But seeing how you rushed to find me, is there trouble again?"
Ding Ran immediately showed an awkward expression, wiping away his previous smugness. He said with a bitter face, "That happened two days ago."
Although Feng He was at a disadvantage in the battle with Ding Ran, he was unwilling to accept it. So he went to look for external help!
"Well, seek external help? Is that possible?" Jian Jianan asked doubtfully.
Although Ding Ran looked frustrated, she nodded and said honestly, "Of course I can."
Ding Ran explained to Jian Jianan, "This is also a tacit understanding among us. It's normal to have different opinions when writing articles, and of course we should refute them through writing. If the chess game is just one step behind, it's also okay to seek help from outside the field."
Feng He invited a friend who was said to be conducting economics research at a top university in China to compete with Ding Ran.
Jian Jianan listened to Ding Ran while reading the article written by this off-field player.
"So that's how it is. This Feng He is quite capable. Even though he himself is not capable, he does have a friend who is!"
Jian Jianan joked with Ding Ran with a smile.
Ding Ran bit her lip in anger, "Nannan, stop laughing so hard! Tell me why you don't want to help, okay?"
Obviously, the help Ding Ran mentioned was to ask Jian Jianan to act as his off-field assistance.
Ding Ran glanced at Jian Jianan's expression and said, "I'm so embarrassed, Nannan. The off-field support Feng He hired is really powerful. I don't know where he found this person. His writing logic is completely different from Feng He's before. It's very sharp and merciless. Not to mention others, even I am almost convinced by him after watching him!"
Ding Ran covered his face, obviously feeling extremely ashamed, which was why he did this.
Jian Jianan chuckled. "I think this off-field helper is a friend invited by Feng He, but his character and quality are much better than Feng He's. At least he sticks to the facts and doesn't take advantage of the situation to criticize you."
Ding Ran clenched his fists. "But it's still infuriating! Even though this foreign player didn't take advantage of the situation, Feng He immediately took advantage of his friend's momentum and kept using it to pressure me!"
In the latest article, Feng He even said that Ding Ran was just a person who was seeking fame and reputation, and could not be called a high-quality economist at all.
He wrote: "...if all economists in the world are like the red sun, which falls when a strong enemy comes, then I think we can still count on the economic development of our country."
"Red Sun" is naturally Ding Ran's pseudonym.
This is a very hurtful and impolite statement.
Jian Jianan frowned as soon as he saw it. "How rude! Besides, it was the foreign aid he invited who was more powerful. What does it have to do with him? He is so proud of it. I think he is the one who is just trying to gain fame!"
Ding Ran blinked and stared at Jian Jianan fiercely, "So will you help me or not? Will you help me or not?"
"Nannannannan, I know you are the best, you are the best, please help me for a while!"
Ding Ran kept pulling Jian Jianan's arm and acting coquettishly. Who could resist it?
Jian Jianan pondered for a while and agreed, "Okay, I'll help you this time!"
Jian Jianan felt that it was not impossible to write an article, since she was a senior in college and had plenty of time.
The most important thing is that Ding Ran was bullied so badly. Look at her red eyes. She might have hidden somewhere to cry.
Ding Ran was surprised: "Really? Are you willing to help me?"
Jian Jianan waved his hand proudly: "Of course, I am willing to help you!"
Jian Jianan feels that writing economic articles can not only improve his writing skills, but also allow him to understand the most cutting-edge economic knowledge. Why not do this, which kills two birds with one stone?
Ding Ran reached out and wiped the non-existent tears from her face. "Okay, let's start from now!"
This time it was Jian Jianan's turn to be stunned, "What! Now!"
According to Ding Ran, The Economist is published once a day. It is too late to write a new manuscript now, and it can only be published the day after tomorrow.
Jian Jianan had never experienced such a rushed life. She was supervised by Ding Ran and forced to do something. She was not even allowed to go to the cafeteria to eat. Ding Ran asked her what she wanted to eat today and packed it for her personally.
Just like that, one month after separating from her boyfriend, Jian Jianan once again lived a life of having food provided for her.
Under the supervision of Ding Ran, whose eyes were like searchlights, Jian Jianan managed to finish writing a manuscript in a little more than half a day.
Ding Ran happily took the manuscript and left. At the last second before leaving, she turned around and asked Jian Jianan, "Oh, by the way, Nan Nan, what's your pen name?"
Publishing articles definitely requires a pen name. Jian Jianan thought for a moment and said, "June."
"My pen name is June."
Her English name is June, which sounds the same as "Jane", so her pen name should be "June".
The next day, Jian Jianan didn't pay any attention to this matter at all, because Ding Ran said that the manuscript submitted the night before had to go through many procedures such as review and editing, and it would not be published so quickly.
The earliest it can be published is the day after tomorrow.
But the next day, Jian Jianan keenly discovered something was wrong.
Xiaofang is a freshman at the Central University of Finance and Economics. After her family tried every possible means to help her, they finally chose this university for her. Fortunately, she is a hardworking person and was finally admitted to her dream school.
Xiaofang, who had already planned her career, naturally knew about The Economist.
Xiaofang wants to gain more professional knowledge from it so that she can enter the major as soon as possible and achieve her goals as soon as possible.
Xiaofang also knew that the big event that happened in the Economics School newspaper during this period was the battle between two authors.
At the beginning it was "Fenghe" and "Hongri", but later Fenghe was defeated by Hongri, so they invited external help, named Rili.
Although Fenghe didn't explicitly say that Rili was the foreign player they hired, the name "Fenghe Rili" made it obvious, didn't it? Not to mention that as soon as Rili arrived, The Economist began to fiercely criticize Hongri's views.
It has to be said that Rili's views and writing skills are much better than Fenghe's. Under his fierce attack, Hongri seemed to be slightly declining. Xiaofang initially wanted to learn something real from The Economist Daily, but as she watched more, she couldn't help but be attracted by the disputes among these people.
The biggest point of contention between Hitachi and Hongri now is that Hitachi thinks the Chinese stock market should be opened later or even maintain the status quo, that is, not open.
But Hongri doesn't think so. She thinks that the Chinese stock market should be put on the agenda of opening up. What others have, our country should naturally have as well.
They'd been arguing all week, neither of them willing to give up. Even between the two sides, Hongri seemed a bit overwhelmed, and there was no telling how the outcome would turn out. Xiaofang was incredibly curious, and as soon as she got her hands on today's newspaper, she opened it and read it.
Then I discovered that there seemed to be a new face in today's newspaper, a contributor named "June".
This June stated at the beginning of the article that she was invited by Hongri to submit the article. It was obvious that she was the foreign aid invited by Hongri.
Since Fenghe has hired the foreign aid Rili, it doesn’t seem surprising that Hongri is not willing to be outdone and hired the foreign aid Liuyue.
Xiaofang continued reading.
June wrote: "Perhaps there were some inadequate preparations beforehand, and everyone was hesitant about whether to open the stock market. However, the current global economic situation tells us that opening the stock market is imperative. Any development that goes against the world trend will not have good results. We must follow the world trend, be open to the outside world and inclusive at home, so that we can gain a foothold in the increasingly fierce global competition."
But this point of view was not what touched Xiaofang. What excited Xiaofang the most was that June seemed to be quite familiar with the situation abroad. In her article, she casually picked up several examples of the development of foreign stock markets, which she described vividly and in a simple and easy-to-understand way. Even Xiaofang, a beginner who had just entered college, could easily understand them.
"Take the stock market crash in October of this year, for example. I'm sure everyone is familiar with this, right? Anyone who pays attention to this should know about Black Monday. It was a global stock market crash that hit every listed company hard, and many companies and individual investors even faced closure and bankruptcy."
"But with challenges come opportunities. Three months have passed, and stock markets around the world are gradually recovering. Everyone seems to have forgotten the recent disaster. But is that really the case? I don't think so."
"For example, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) very foresightedly established a circuit breaker mechanism before the stock market crash. Once the overall stock market decline reached 7%, they immediately shut down the market, preventing further declines. This was a mechanism they implemented to protect the stock market."
"It has to be said that the stock market circuit breaker method did play a significant role in recovering losses initially. And now, all parties in the United States have adopted more plans for possible disasters in the stock market, including but not limited to..."
After all, a manuscript is not a thesis and has limited length. Generally speaking, writing a few hundred or a thousand words is already the limit.
So, after talking about some protective measures introduced by the United States for the stock market, June wrote the ending.
"...Therefore, everyone should open their eyes and see the lengths to which the stock market can go in other countries we don't know about! I understand that many people are concerned about the potential disaster a stock market crash could bring, and its volatility could even affect major domestic livelihood issues. However, when something new emerges, it's bound to be difficult to adapt to at first, and we must prepare certain countermeasures to deal with it. However, if we don't bravely embrace new things out of fear, when we regret it, it will be too late."
After Xiaofang read the article written by June, she didn't even bother to read the next article. She didn't even bother to find out whether "Fenghe" and "Rili" had published any new articles today. She went straight back to the beginning and read the article written by June again.
The article contained so much information. Anyone with connections could get access to this domestic news. But the foreign cases she saw in the article were difficult to obtain, even with connections!
What kind of expert is this June who knows so many inside stories about foreign affairs?
Seeing this, Xiaofang couldn't help but become more curious about what she would write the next day. Would she continue writing?
Xiaofang didn't say anything. She carefully read the article written by June five times before putting down the newspaper with a surge of emotion. She didn't even look for her favorite article about the beautiful weather.
Fenghe Rili is a strong opponent of opening the stock market, and their reasons are the same as what most people say.
That is, the stock market is not a good thing at all! Anyone with eyes can see that by looking at the volatility index of the world over the past century, it has its peaks, but its lowest values can easily bankrupt a country. Now that China is in the first decade of reform and opening up, it is at a critical stage. Who knows what kind of dramatic development the introduction of the stock market will bring. If we are not careful and fail to make things better, wouldn't it make all the achievements of the previous reform and opening up go to waste?
However, this article in June showed everyone another aspect of the stock market, which is a disaster that would occur in a mature country, a country that has established a modern economic system for decades or even hundreds of years.
But even if a disaster occurs, it does not mean that people have no means to prevent it or minimize the losses. In this article, June cited several examples from the United States and Western countries to illustrate how people in different countries use various means to reduce the impact of stock market fluctuations.
Xiaofang was watching with great interest and felt that what June said made a lot of sense. If she were standing in front of her, she would definitely run up to June, hold her hand, and ask her all kinds of little stories about foreign stock markets.
Jian Jianan felt something was wrong early the next morning. No matter where she went, a familiar name would always ring in her ears.
"Hey, have you read June's article today? Where did she get all that information?"
"Of course I did! I always read the newspaper the moment I get it. I might even start reading it before you do!"
"Stop comparing! Let's get back to business. This June, it was written with such confidence, it doesn't sound fake. So, do you think our country will open up its stock market?"
Jian Jianan listened for a long time before finally confirming that the manuscript she gave to Ding Ran last night was indeed published today!
Hey, this isn't right. Didn't Ding Ran tell himself last time that the manuscript had to go through a series of procedures before it could actually be printed in the newspaper? How come it was published so quickly after just one night?
After wandering around the school for a while, Jian Jianan returned to the dormitory. Then she saw Ding Ran sitting on the bed in a daze with two dark circles under his eyes and lifeless eyes.
It was not until she saw Jian Jianan that Ding Ran's eyes gradually lit up. She shouted Jian Jianan's name with shining eyes and ran towards her.
"Nannan! You're finally back! You have no idea how great that article you wrote is. When I showed it to the teachers, they all said it had to go through the process and be published immediately!"
"Just to get your manuscript published the next day, all the editors sped up their work processes and even stayed up until three in the morning to complete all the necessary procedures. Finally, we got this manuscript published in the newspaper!"
Jian Jianan nodded. So that's how it is.
No wonder, she said, it's impossible to publish it so quickly.
It turns out that this is not over yet. As Ding Ran was talking, she suddenly took out a small business card from her schoolbag and handed it to Jian Jianan. She looked at Jian Jianan with a sharp gaze.
"Nannan, would you like to be our special guest writer?"
Ding Ran's mentor was one of the special contributors to The Economist, so she strongly recommended her student to try to submit an article. Of course, she just recommended it, and she did not do any other extra work.
Ding Ran rubbed his head sheepishly. "I originally showed this manuscript to my teacher, but she immediately urged me to take it to the editorial office of The Economist overnight and hand it over to the editors."
"My mentor personally brought me there. I stayed there to help for a while, and while we were chatting, they asked me about my identity."
"Can I tell them that? I definitely can't tell them! I just laughed it off. But some of your experiences have been revealed to some extent."
Ding Ran felt very embarrassed when she said this. "I know you're a low-key person and wouldn't really want to tell anyone your true identity and background. But they're all seasoned veterans! When I kept my mouth shut and didn't tell them who you really are, they all expressed their understanding, which made me let my guard down. Who knew they'd spend the next several hours quietly prying for information about you?"
Ding Ran complained very sadly and angrily. When she was being asked for information by the editorial department teachers, her own tutor was standing next to her with a grin on his face, and had no intention of helping at all!
Jian Jianan shook his head. "It's okay, it's okay. It's okay for me to reveal some insignificant experiences. Just don't tell them my true identity. Tell me, what information did they know?"
Ding Ran first reassured him again and again, "Don't worry, Nannan, I definitely didn't reveal your name. I just accidentally let slip that you went abroad and had an internship on Wall Street."
When Jian Jianan was abroad, she would often communicate with her relatives and friends in China. Naturally, what she talked about most with her roommates was her studies. Her roommates also knew that she was going to Wall Street for an internship in the second semester of her junior year. Ding Ran was very interested in this and asked Jian Jianan in detail how the world's top investment companies operated.
Jian Jianan had no intention of hiding anything, and she would answer in detail whatever was asked next.
In this way, it is normal that Ding Ran, who knew so much, was able to reveal a little information yesterday when he was surrounded and blocked by the entire editorial department.
Jian Jianan smiled and said loudly, "That's okay! I only revealed a little bit of information. There are many people in this world who have gone abroad and interned on Wall Street. They can't just target me, right?"
Hearing Jianan say this, he actually breathed a sigh of relief and pushed the business card in his hand closer to her.
"When the editors heard about your experience, they were extremely interested. I'm not exaggerating when I say their eyes lit up like wolves. They said that since you studied abroad and interned at Goldman Sachs, you must have more information than anyone else. After reading your article today, they were impressed by your excellent writing style and logic, so they immediately invited you to become a contributing writer and continue to write more articles for The Economist."
Jian Jianan frowned, obviously lost in deep thought.
Writing the manuscript was never in her plan. She agreed to write the manuscript in the beginning to help Ding Ran.
Ding Ran was clearly at a disadvantage under the attacks of Feng and Rili. As her good friend, Jian Jianan certainly couldn't stand by and watch, so he thought of using his pen and the information he knew to help her.
But unexpectedly, this effort might have been too strong, and it was immediately noticed by other people. In this case, I was even invited by the editorial department to be a special contributor.
"I need to think about it..."
Jian Jianan hesitated. At first, she wanted to give herself a vacation, maybe for a month. She wanted to rest for a month and think carefully about what to do with her free time in her senior year.
She reported to Su Qinxuan and Jian Yangping's companies for internships on time, but after returning from the United States, Jian Jianan had a small plan in her mind, but she has not told anyone so far.
If she were to accept Ding Ran's invitation and become a special guest writer for the student newspaper, her plan would most likely be shattered.
I still need to think carefully about whether to accept this invitation...
When Jian Jianan thought about this, he thought about tomorrow.
Influenced by the inductor, Jian Jianan also started paying attention to The Economist. After she had breakfast in the cafeteria, she walked to the school magazine on campus and asked for a copy of The Economist.
Then, when it was spread out, big red words appeared in front of him.
It turned out to be Fenghe and Rili, who were strongly refuting the article she wrote yesterday!
Jian Jianan frowned as she read on. The more she read, the deeper her frown became. In the end, her fingers that were tightly gripping the newspaper even tore it apart.
Ding Ran came back from outside and as soon as he returned to the dormitory, he saw his good roommate Jian Jianan sitting on a chair with black air emitting from his whole body.
When she heard the noise, she slammed the table, raised her head and stared at Ding Ran with her sharp eyes.
"Xiao Ran! Didn't you say yesterday that you wanted to invite me to be a special writer? I accept, I accept! I'll write for you now and publish it tomorrow!"
Ding Ran didn't understand what was going on at all. She could only nod blankly. Seeing that the black energy on Jian Jianan's body had become lighter, she dared to ask, "What happened?"
Her eyes fell on the newspaper on the table. She picked up the latest issue of the Economics Newsletter and started reading. Then she immediately covered her stomach and laughed uncontrollably.
"Hahahaha... Hahahaha! They, they actually said that your experience was fabricated, that everything you wrote in the article was just your own imagination, all nonsense you made up!"
Jian Jianan remained silent and snorted, "Hmph, they are just frogs in a well. Just because they haven't seen something doesn't mean it hasn't happened! I must make sure they know what it means to be better than others!"
Ding Ran read and shook his head. It seemed that Feng Heli and Rili were really good at attracting hatred. Yesterday, Nan Nan was still considering his invitation, but as soon as their article came out this morning, the hesitant Jian Nan immediately made up her mind to accept her invitation and become one of the special contributors!
I really don’t know what Ding Ran should say. After all, shouldn’t she thank Feng and Rili?
Jian Jianan nodded and joined in. Ding Ran had no reason to push her out. She patted Jianan on the shoulder and said proudly, "Don't worry, Nannan. Just keep writing. I won't be writing any more manuscripts now. I can stay here all the time. When you finish writing, I can add it to the editorial department as quickly as possible. Then, we can see the new article fresh out of the oven early tomorrow morning."
Jian Jianan nodded and said, "That's great, that's good. If there are no new articles of his in the newspaper for several days, those two people might think that he is afraid of them!"
This time, there was no need for Ding Ran to supervise her at all. Jian Jianan wrote the manuscript very actively and consciously, and she asked Ding Ran questions while she was writing.
"How's this? Is it intense enough? Is it sharp enough? Is it powerful enough?"
Ding Ran nodded as she read. Nodding was all she could do. "Enough, enough, enough. Absolutely enough, absolutely enough! Once this manuscript is published tomorrow, it will definitely crush them!"
Jian Jianan was very satisfied after hearing his friend's praise, "Okay, I'll take your kind words!"
The next day, Jian Jianan's manuscript was published as scheduled. She is now a special contributor to the Economics College Daily. The editorial department has specially opened a green channel for her. All her manuscripts can get the fastest process and can be published in the newspaper at the latest the next morning.
Xiaofang has been thinking about June ever since she saw her manuscript the day before yesterday. She felt that June's character could be easily seen from the manuscript. Although she had never seen June's true appearance, from the manuscript she wrote, she inexplicably felt that June was a person who spoke sharply and had a straightforward personality. She would say what she wanted to say without hiding anything and would not give others face.
But it seemed that June was just here to help her good friend Hongri. She only wrote one article the day before yesterday, and her pen name was not seen in the newspaper yesterday.
I don’t know if I can see you today.
Xiaofang opened today's report of The Economist and searched for June's name with her eyes at first glance. Then she was surprised to see June's name on the very first page.
She was delighted and continued reading immediately.
Then the joy in my heart immediately turned into shock!
In her latest post, June completely followed Feng and Rili in their feud, directly calling them out: "I've heard some people have been opposing my country's stock market opening lately? They oppose things like embracing global trends, but can't offer any reasons. Someone truly caring would come up with a solution, but you two keep bickering like clowns. Your intentions are damnable!"
In June, I wrote a long and eloquent article, all about the necessity of opening up the domestic stock market.
Finally, she added very cautiously.
"Everyone feels apprehensive when trying something new. I understand that. Take me, for example, when I got tired of Coca-Cola and wanted to try Beibingyang soda, I hesitated for a few minutes. It's normal for people to have concerns about something as major as this that could impact people's livelihoods."
"If possible, we could set up a pilot site, starting with a city, where we could open the stock market. From there, we could expand to other areas and see what kind of results this pilot site would bring."
I have to say that although June speaks a little sharply and writes a little sharply, he is still a very cautious person and not the kind of person who is stubborn.
But after reading the last paragraph, Xiaofang became uncertain in her heart. Would a cautious person say such a thing?
"Feng Heli, let me make a bet with you two. I've used all my wealth to buy several stocks. I'm going to bet with you whether they can appreciate in value!"
