"Why didn't you keep up? Kids aren't allowed on the beach at night!"
"Aren't you kids too?!"
Big Head said, "We are the Coral Guardians, wuwu."
Before he could finish speaking, Xiaoqian covered his mouth, "You can't reveal your identity!"
“I heard everything.”
The other children all looked at Ahai in the middle. "Okay, then come with us."
Xiaoman followed them to the lighthouse. The walls inside the lighthouse were painted with small turtle and fish bones and some other patterns, and the wooden floor made a creaking sound.
"Come on up quickly!"
Xiaoman hurriedly followed the others upstairs.
They whispered to each other for a while, then Ahai said to her, "You can't tell anyone about us and the baby dolphin! Otherwise we'll..."
I'll beat you up!
Xiaoman found them so childish; she wasn't going to make any promises.
When Xiaoman got home, her mother was putting her to bed. She told her mother that she had seen a baby dolphin that day. It was tied up with fishing line and it looked so painful.
As she talked, Xiaoman slowly fell asleep. Her mother kissed her forehead and then turned off the light and closed the door.
Over the weekend, Xiaoman saw the group of children sneaking towards the beach again from upstairs, so she secretly followed them.
What are you doing here?
Ahai covered Xiaoman's mouth, pointed to a few people holding harpoons in the distance, and whispered in her ear, "Those are poachers."
Ah Hai took an octopus out of the bucket. "Xiao Hai, it's all up to you now. Go."
To Xiaoman's astonishment, the octopus slowly approached the poachers and secretly dragged an instrument from beside their kayak into the sea.
Ahai tossed the small fish from another bucket to the octopus, saying, "Well done, Xiaohai."
A moment later, the voices of the poachers could be heard: "Where's the GPS!"
Did you forget to bring it?
"Seriously? How are you going to go out to sea today without a GPS?!"
"The dolphin that got away yesterday was injured and couldn't go far. It would be a waste if we couldn't go today."
Xiaoman squatted behind the rocks, watching those people finally drag their things away.
Ah Hai unconsciously puffed out his chest. "How about that?! I'm awesome, right? You better not tell anyone else, or I'll unleash Xiao Hai to bite you!"
Xiaoman asked in confusion, "Why don't we tell the adults?"
Big Head shook his head and said, "But we don't know who they are!"
Ahai, however, was very determined: "We can't tell the adults! They'll find out about us, and then we won't be able to catch them anymore, and the baby dolphins will be in danger!"
After Ah Hai finished speaking, everyone else nodded.
"You don't trust us?!"
Xiaoman really didn't think those kids could have any great abilities.
Ah Hai took out a conch shell and blew on it. The waves not far away grew bigger and bigger. Xiao Man saw flashes of silver in the waves. They were dolphins!
Ah Hai can actually summon dolphins!
Ah Hai said smugly, "Now you know how powerful I am."
"Can I join you?"
Xiaoman looked at Ahai with bright, sparkling eyes.
"Alright, since you were somewhat obedient just now, we'll reluctantly accept you. But you can't tell the adults, okay?"
"good!"
After Xiaoman joined the coral protection team, she and her friends began to protect the dolphins. They would secretly swap fishing nets made of seaweed with each other's nets, bury the Portuguese man-of-war jellyfish they collected in the shallows where poachers would pass, and secretly release or puncture their kayaks.
They sped along the coastline on their bicycles, with flocks of seagulls flying overhead and waves dancing on the sand.
While rescuing a sea turtle infested with barnacles, they accidentally discovered a notebook in the lighthouse with "Project Y" written on it.
Have you guys watched Feiyang Entertainment's latest episode, "The Secret of Penglai Island"?
Isn't that an animated film?
[It's an animated film, but it's suitable for babies as young as 300 months. I love Xiaoman, Ahai, and Datou; the kids are so brave, daring to outsmart poachers at such a young age.]
No, it's probably best to call the police if the child is young.
The latest episode was really fun; the kids were performing surgery on the sea turtle so realistically, even disinfecting, wearing masks, and having someone wipe their sweat. Xiaoman's antics of tapping the barnacles were absolutely adorable!
Have you guys noticed that the mark behind Ah Hai's ear is changing?!
I only watched two episodes, but I was completely engrossed. The kids are eating really well these days! Go Coral Team!
What on earth is Project Y in that notebook?! Should we stop here?! Two episodes a week?! No way!!
[I'm so curious too, what does that pattern mean? Seriously, only two episodes a week, and each episode is less than half an hour after cutting out the opening and ending credits!! Is that reasonable?!]
[Does anyone like this art style? It's so heartwarming! Xiaoman and her Coral Team friends are all so cute. Watching them rescue ocean animals while sneaking away from adults is just adorable! Especially after each mission, they sit in a row by the roadside drinking soda—the five kids are just too cute!!]
Xiaoman seems to be getting more and more lively; her mother smiled when she saw her go out.
[Ah Hai is amazing! He can catch crabs with his bare hands and even trains the octopus Xiao Hai.]
[It's annoying to have to wait a whole week every time, but every time the opening theme with the five conch shells playing in sequence gets me excited, it reminds me of when I was a kid waiting to watch cartoons!]
