Then the bed was moved aside, and as she watched the staff take pictures of the side of the bedside table against the wall, she felt that nothing was unexpected anymore.
She felt it was all trivial when she saw the ceiling light cover being removed for photos, the air conditioner casing being opened and a dusty filter being taken out, and the lint roller being used to remove hair from the bed.
It wasn't until she saw the baseboards, a common feature in renovations, covered in a thick layer of blackish dust that she realized her home had the same design! She couldn't believe her baseboards had never been cleaned by a cleaning service! With so much dust, she didn't even want to think about running the air conditioner in the summer, let alone cleaning the air conditioner filter, which seemed to have remained uncleaned for a year or two since she moved in.
No wonder she and Yu Hao always had stuffy noses in the air-conditioned room during the summer! She thought it was because they set the temperature too low and caught a chill. With so much dust, how could their noses feel comfortable?! It's amazing they haven't developed rhinitis yet; they're both incredibly difficult to deal with!!
She didn't even want to think about the dust sucked out of the fabric bed. When the mattress was lifted up and she saw a layer of light and shadow filter, she was completely numb. She wasn't thinking about the competition, but about how to clean her bedroom when she got home.
Putting everything else aside, we spend at least several hours in the bedroom every day! I feel like we can't ignore the toilet either! Mold in the toilet is also very dangerous. No wonder people are getting more and more sick these days. When it comes to food, it's all about technology and hard work. When it comes to clothes, they're all plastic products, not a single thing is natural. I never thought that our homes would be full of crises too.
