Chapter 85 Traveling with the Family 16

The next day when the others came, the two of them were huddled together, snoring loudly as they slept.

Zhang Jian smiled, left the bread and water, and closed the door.

Lin Yang rested for two days. On the third day, Lin Yang, looking radiant, knocked on everyone's door.

At breakfast, Zhao Shufang urged, "You've only rested for two days. Are you sure you're feeling okay? Why are you setting off like this?"

Everyone else agreed, and Lin Yang felt a warm glow inside, a smile spreading across his face. "I've had a great rest these past two days. If I had stayed in bed for another day, my bones would have rotted away. Right now, I really want to go out and have some fun."

After the debate with the scholars, Lin Yang emerged victorious and packed his things to wait for the others in the hall.

"Yiyi, thank you for the day before yesterday. I heard you're an amazing driver! If I had known, I would never have driven in France. That would have been like showing off my skills in front of a master craftsman. Come on, Sheng the Car God, give me your opinion on my driving skills!"

Lin Yang's teasing made Sheng Yiyi blush unconsciously, and in the end she joined in the commotion, saying, "It's just so-so."

"As expected of a racing legend, his evaluation is so accurate."

Everyone else had also finished packing. Zhao Shufang had also brought some Huoxiang Zhengqi Water (a traditional Chinese medicine for relieving headaches). "You little rascal, pack these up. If you feel dizzy or something's wrong, drink them right away. I didn't wear as many as the other day, otherwise I would definitely have scolded you."

Lin Yang scratched the back of his head, knowing he was in the wrong. It was true that the outfit was too hot at the time, but he was thinking of completing his sales task, so he gritted his teeth and wore it for a day. Now that he thought about it, he really shot himself in the foot.

"Today, we're going to watch the animal migration!"

Kang Le cheered and applauded, Sheng Yiyi clapped, and everyone else looked on with joy.

Lin Yang booked a car that could accommodate everyone. In addition to the driver and front passenger, there were six seats in the back. After everyone got on the car, the guide opened the roof. As soon as they entered the scenic area, they could see animal skeletons.

Lin Yang's migration package included admission, so the driver drove directly from the entrance into the X Country National Park.

The top layer is piled with elephant skulls, giving it a primitive and wild look.

The guide drove in, and the road was quite dusty at first, but it gradually got better as they went further in. The vehicle had bottled water, binoculars for observing animals, and to their surprise, even electrical outlets.

After driving for a short while, two giraffes appeared by the roadside eating. The guide stopped the car near the giraffes, and everyone stood up and peered through the gaps in the roof and the car roof to observe the giraffes up close.

Because Kang Le was too short, Lin Yang picked him up.

Zhang Jian was a little worried about Lin Yang's health, so he helped lift Kang Le up.

Kang Le's mouth remained open, and she covered her mouth with a strong sense of unease.

Peng Miao whispered, "It's so close, I can smell the giraffe."

Kang Le said in an exaggerated "whisper," "Its eyelashes are so long, I counted them, there are so many of them."

After seeing the giraffes, the guide continued driving in, while the radio next to us occasionally crackled with some incomprehensible encrypted language.

Later they encountered zebras, but this time, the guide didn't stop very close; everyone watched from a distance with binoculars.

"It's a leopard!"

Sheng Yiyi asked, "Where? Where?"

Kang Le stared intently ahead. "Shh, it's lying down. It looks like it wants to eat that striped horse."

"This is amazing?! Let me see!"

Zhang Jian was also very excited. He could actually see the cheetah hunting, which was like watching a live version of Animal World. He had to take a closer look.

However, whether it was due to the presence of their vehicle or the zebra sensing an unknown risk, the zebra ran away, leaving only the cheetah lying lazily on its side, its belly exposed.

"Its belly is so white."

"Of course, only its outer skin has patterns."

Kang Le nodded. The group of people watched the cheetah lying flat and yawning with great interest.

Zhao Shufang said, "This leopard looks so thin, and the bones in its shoulders and legs look very prominent."

Kang Le quickly replied, "I know, because it can't catch zebras to eat."

The guide's radio crackled to life, and the vehicle set off again. A small antelope hopped past the middle window, glanced at the group, and then ran off.

The vehicle stopped again by the water's edge, where flocks of red flamingos appeared before everyone's eyes.

Bathed in soft sunlight, the red flamingos and the surrounding meadows resemble a richly colored oil painting, brimming with life.

Just as everyone was immersed in the charm of the painting, for some reason, the flock of birds suddenly flew to the other side. The sudden movement of hundreds of birds made everyone exclaim in surprise. Looking at it up close, they even thought it was a small hurricane.

It turned out that the black-faced baboon had disturbed the flock of birds that were resting in the tree.

When everyone looked over, the black-faced baboon looked as if it had been wronged, lying innocently on its back in the grass, scratching its belly.

Time flies, and it's lunchtime. This time, their group will have lunch at a tent hotel in the park.

After everyone got off the bus, they looked around. The tent was military green and dusty on the outside, but inside it was fully equipped with sofas, carpets, tables and chairs, and even a bar.

When Peng Miao heard the guide through the translator say that there was accommodation available, and looked at the same tents that the waiter pointed to, her expression froze instantly, and she wished she could shake her head like a rattle drum.

That's terrifying! At least yesterday's hotel had glass separating us from the lions, but here it's like being handed over to a lion's jaws. Just thinking about it is horrifying.

Seemingly as a sales pitch, the waiter even showed the group around the rooms.
