Chapter 207 Brother Pays for Sister's Debt

Feng Xiangchen was quite satisfied after hearing this. The top student was indeed a top student. With such a student, Ningda University would definitely achieve even better results in the future.

"Tell him not to work too hard, and that he should rest when he needs to."

Ye Zhizhou nodded and started talking again.

“Principal, I’m here today with a request. I’ve signed a contract with Min Shang Business, which may mean I’ll have less time to teach, but I won’t fall behind in my studies.”

Feng Xiangchen was slightly taken aback, somewhat puzzled, "You plan to enter the entertainment industry in the future. I don't quite understand. Your family is so rich, why would you want to go to that cutthroat place like the entertainment industry?"

Just as she didn't understand why Ye Qian wanted to enter the entertainment industry, Feng Xiangchen also didn't understand Ye Zhizhou's choice.

Both siblings are enigmatic. The Ye family's assets in Ning City are extremely substantial, so they have absolutely no need to work in the entertainment industry.

"It's a personal preference, and I hope the principal understands."

Ye Zhizhou didn't want to elaborate on the reasons, so he gave a brief explanation.

Feng Xiangchen was a smart person and immediately understood what Ye Zhizhou meant. "I understand. I'll put in a good word with your class teacher."

Although he didn't want Ye Zhizhou to waste time on acting, he believed that Ye Zhizhou wouldn't fall behind in his studies.

After thanking him, Ye Zhizhou left the principal's office.

Feng Xiangchen frowned as he called Ye Qian, "Was Xiaozhou someone you brought into the entertainment industry?"

Ye Qian gloated, "What, you've realized the good student's heart isn't with you anymore, and you're regretting it now?"

Feng Xiangchen curled his lip. "A brother should repay his sister's debts. That bottle of red wine I saw at your place last time, please deliver it before tomorrow afternoon."

After saying that, he quickly hung up the phone, not giving Ye Qian a chance to retort.

Ye Qian was inexplicably hung up on and lost a bottle of red wine, but after thinking about it, he decided to bear it and had the wine packed and mailed to Feng Xiangchen by local courier.

The atmosphere in university classrooms is much more relaxed than in high school. By the time Ye Zhizhou returned from the principal's office, class had already started.

"She's the girl who got her boyfriend stabbed on the first day of school. Her boyfriend is so pitiful."

"No way, I heard it was Su Rui who started this trouble. I guess Su Rui likes Qin Xuan but can't have him, so she's jealous."

She had just entered the classroom and found a seat in the back row when she heard two classmates talking. She didn't know if they were doing it on purpose, but their voices weren't particularly quiet.

She curled her lip, leaned forward, and whispered in the ears of the two students, "Do you know that spreading rumors is illegal?"

The two girls were startled by the voice behind them. When they looked back, they realized it was the person speaking and immediately panicked.

They quickly turned away, not daring to say another word, and focused intently on their books.

Seeing that they had calmed down, Ye Zhizhou opened his textbook to the section where the teacher was lecturing and listened attentively.

The class ended quickly. After class, she got up to go eat when a girl stood in front of her and greeted her.

"Hello Ye Zhizhou, I'm Qu Sisi. We're roommates. When are you planning to move in? Everyone else is here, and you're the only one left."

Ye Zhizhou looked at the unfamiliar girl, unsure of her intention in greeting her, and calmly replied, "My home is nearby, and I have a driver to pick me up every day. I don't live in the dormitory."
