Inside the lobby, a girl stood at the front desk with her hair all messy; the big, wavy curls she had just gotten yesterday were now a complete tangled mess.
The receptionist, suppressing a laugh, looked at her and asked, "Ma'am, what's wrong?"
Dong Wenyu cried so hard her makeup was ruined. "I was beaten up right here in your hotel! Quickly call my uncle and tell him someone bullied me on his turf!"
The receptionist hesitated. Although they all knew that Dong Wenyu was Dong Xinhui's niece, Dong Xinhui didn't seem to like her very much and often had his secretary instruct him to raise the room rate if Dong Wenyu stayed at the hotel.
"Are you really our boss's niece? I can't even see your face clearly. Would you like to go to the restroom to wash up first?"
Half of Dong Wenyu's hair was pulled up to her face, almost covering half of her face. If you didn't look closely, you really couldn't tell who she was.
The receptionist was able to identify Dong Wenyu solely based on her voice and clothing.
"I won't wash! I want Uncle to see how that little bitch bullied me like this. Call Uncle right now!"
Dong Wenyu smoothed her hair to the side and directed the receptionist to call Dong Xinhui.
The receptionist was in a dilemma; she didn't know whether she should make the call or not.
"Hurry up and fight! What are you dawdling for? Or I'll get your uncle to fire you!"
Dong Wenyu frowned and urged.
Suppressing her displeasure, the receptionist dialed a number prepared in advance by her secretary. A moment later, she heard: "The number you dialed is currently busy. Please try again later."
"Ms. Dong, you see, our boss is busy right now. How about I take you to get cleaned up first and then you can rest until he comes back?"
Undeterred, Dong Wenyu took out her phone and called Dong Xinhui.
Dong Xinhui was directing a scene on the other end of the phone. When he saw it was Dong Wenyu, he hung up without thinking.
Hearing the cold female voice coming from the phone, Dong Wenyu cried again.
"You're all bullying me! I'm going to tell my dad!"
Ye Zhizhou and Qin Xuan exchanged a glance, both seeing the disdain in each other's eyes for Dong Wenyu.
Lin Qiqi found it even more bizarre, "Goodness, I thought Chen Jing was already quite the princess, but this one seems to have queen syndrome?"
Lu Qing agreed, "Compared to her, I suddenly find my cousin much cuter."
"Ms. Dong, it's really not that I meant to bully you, the boss is just busy..." The receptionist was on the verge of tears.
Dong Wenyu wouldn't listen to reason, so she called her own father. After the call, she stopped crying, but her makeup was still on, making her look ridiculous standing in the lobby.
Although there weren't many people coming and going at the hotel, most of them were business travelers. They found this scene quite unusual and started discussing it.
"You, it's you! My dad's coming soon, you wait, he'll definitely not let you get away with this!"
Dong Wenyu turned her head and saw Ye Zhizhou and three others standing in the waiting area of the hall, and hurriedly called out.
Everyone looked over and saw that Ye Zhizhou and the other three were looking at Dong Wenyu as if she were an idiot. They thought that Dong Wenyu had some kind of mental illness. Would a normal person act like this?
"What are you talking about? I didn't do anything!" Ye Zhizhou opened his eyes wide and looked at her with a very innocent expression.
Dong Wenyu was taken aback. "That's not what you said when you pulled my hair in the elevator!"
