The atmosphere at the dinner table was extremely awkward. Shu Yin and Shu Qiong were indignant, as Ye Zhizhou hadn't paid any attention to them since they entered the room.

Ye Huaibin didn't notice anything amiss and assumed Ye Zhizhou genuinely wanted tea. "Go brew a pot. Xiaozhou is tired from studying; it's only right that he relaxes with green tea."
Shu Qiong glanced at her mother subconsciously and found that her mother's face looked very bad. She nudged Shu Yin with her elbow, and Shu Yin realized that she had lost her composure.
The doorbell rang suddenly, which conveniently eased her embarrassment.
Aunt Zhang hurried to open the door, and when she saw who it was, she turned to look at Ye Zhizhou.
"Miss, the tutor that the young master hired for you has arrived."
Ye Zhizhou looked up, his face full of questions.
