Yao Hai and Qin Xuan stared at each other for a moment, and he finally gave in.
"Okay, let's go to the notary office to get it notarized tomorrow, and your engagement banquet will be held the day after tomorrow."

Lin Rupei thought that Ye Zhizhou was pretending nothing had happened because he was too heartbroken and didn't want to worry the people around him, so she comforted Ye Zhizhou.
Ye Zhizhou put down the snacks, a smile on his lips. "Godfather, Godmother, and Grandma. I'm really fine. Let's eat."
She acted as usual, and the three adults dared not speak, for fear of upsetting her.
Soon after, the Liao triplets returned. They were initially indifferent to their unfamiliar older sister, but were soon drawn in by Ye Zhizhou's humor. After dinner, the four of them sat on the sofa and played games together.
"Ru Pei, you need to hurry up and check on Xiao Zhou. This is very abnormal of her."
Liao Ting had never seen her sons so well-behaved. Usually, they would turn the house upside down, going clubbing and singing karaoke, and there was never a moment of peace.
Lin Rupei nodded solemnly, "I understand, I'll contact the ladies right away."
"Xiao Zhou seems perfectly normal to me. Aren't you guys overthinking this?"
Only Ye Xiufang, who knew Ye Zhizhou well, frowned and voiced her doubts.
Liao Ting and Lin Rupei exchanged a glance. The old lady was too old to understand, but they couldn't be lenient. They had to help Ye Zhizhou move on from his previous relationship as soon as possible.
