Chapter 111 Tiger Cat Battle

Liu Shile knew perfectly well why her older sister was doing this – wasn't it because she was worried that she might overthink things and misunderstand her adoptive mother?

Now she's not misunderstanding her adoptive mother anymore; she's certain that her adoptive mother is extremely biased, and that she doesn't care about anyone else in the family except for her precious, lucky son.

Even her father wasn't that much of a concern to her. If she really cared, why would she keep nagging him about this and that all day long and annoy him?

Therefore, she still needs to find a way to cure her father. Only when her father can support the family will her adoptive mother possibly behave herself.

Okay, even if Mom doesn't change her ways, with Dad at home supporting them, the burden on these kids will be lighter, right?

As for her current medical skills, Liu Shile shrugged inwardly. They were really quite mediocre. She felt she should think of a way to match the herbs in the book with the herbs in reality.

However, these things can't be rushed for now. Let's talk about them when we get to the county. She'll always find a good way to balance her studies and medical training. As for her teacher's advice, she thinks it's worth listening to.

The family ate a rather bland meal, and Liu Shile thought about making a wheelchair for her father, who is now unable to walk and needs help with everything.

From now on, besides my mother, the only other person in the family will be my eldest sister. Although taking care of my father is what children should do, it's not a good thing for my eldest sister.

Fortunately, my adoptive mother cares a lot about this. Whenever my father has any needs, she usually takes care of them herself. Although her health isn't that good, she can still manage to do it.

The toilet at home should also be renovated, but now that the storm has just passed, Liu Shile doesn't dare to take the risk of renovating her own home.

So she could only think about it, but then she thought it was a good thing, as it would allow her adoptive mother to do more things, thus giving her less time to think about these messy things.

She said that her adoptive mother has become like this because she spends all her time at home, or rather, in her room. With too much free time, she inevitably starts to overthink things.

She was already biased, and after all this thinking, wouldn't she end up tormenting the least favored children in the family?

Hmm, how about we find something for this bored, cheap mom to do?

But in such a small town, it's really not easy to find her a job that's easy, not tiring, and can make money. The main reason, of course, is that it's not like before where you can freely buy and sell.

So nowadays, apart from farming, most people really don't dare to do too many outrageous things. And farming is not easy either. The most crucial thing is that their family doesn't have any land.

You can only grow some vegetables and raise some chickens in the front and back of the yard. It's not easy to have a large output unless you go to the deep mountains to find a place to reclaim wasteland.

It is said that rural areas are now encouraging people to reclaim wasteland, and the reclaimed land will be considered their own. However, this applies to rural households, not to people from towns like them.

Clearing land had to be done quietly. As far as Liu Shile knew, some neighbors seemed to have already cleared land for farming, so everyone tacitly agreed to it.

But they don't have a single able-bodied person in their family right now, so how can they clear the land? And who will do the work after they clear it? Their stepmother can't do heavy work.

So she still has to think of a way from her own vegetable garden. Perhaps she can take some seeds left over from the farm and plant them to see if she can increase the yield.

As she pondered this, she entered the farm, only to find two tiger cubs and a kitten engaged in a chaotic battle right in the vegetable garden she had painstakingly cultivated!

She instantly darted in front of the three little ones, staring at them with hostility. The three little ones, who were fighting fiercely, suddenly felt a chill and shivered.

She cautiously looked up and saw her owner with an unfriendly expression. Meow meowed and jumped up lightly, as if she wanted to run into her arms and snuggle up to her.

Unfortunately, Liu Shile wasn't buying it. She took a small step back, thwarting the little cat's plan. The cat was very agile and landed lightly on the ground without any injury.

Well, actually, the cat doesn't realize that it's not cute at all right now. Its once smooth, snow-white fur is now covered in mud and looks all messy.

Upon seeing this, the two white tiger cubs exchanged a glance and ran to Liu Shile at the same time, trying to hug her legs and refuse to let go, just like when they had begged for shelter before.

Unfortunately, Liu Shile didn't let them have their way. She gently pushed them aside, pointed to the vegetable patch they had messed up, and began to scold them.

She didn't care whether the three little ones understood or not; she spoke with such seriousness and earnestness that she made them shrink back and dare not move before she finally stopped.

Finally, she pointed out a specific area for them, telling them that if they ever fought again, they should fight in that area and not come here to disturb the land she had worked so hard to cultivate!

Finally, they were given a stern warning not to touch the livestock, or they would be in for a beating. Only then were they thrown into an empty bathtub in the villa and left to bathe on their own.

She resigned herself to her fate and carefully collected all the messed-up bok choy. Luckily, these bok choy had only recently matured and had not yet flowered or produced seeds, otherwise they would have been wasted.

The thought of the newborn tiger cubs being so restless gave Liu Shile a headache. Fortunately, they were quite afraid of her, and after she scolded them, they behaved themselves and dared not move.

It seems that once the two white tiger cubs grow a bit older, she'll have to release them back into the mountains. Otherwise, they'll definitely make a mess of her territory, and even the little kittens will learn bad habits.

If the two white tiger cubs knew that their owner thought this way, they would definitely feel very wronged.

It was clearly that little one who came to provoke them that caused them to retaliate, so why does the owner immediately assume it's their fault?

Unfortunately, they didn't know that they were happily playing in the water in the bathroom right now. Of course, this time the three little ones didn't dare to move around.

After harvesting a batch of vegetables, Liu Shile returned to the bathroom and found that everything was fine except for water spilled everywhere, so she nodded in satisfaction.

It seems they still know their limits. If they dare to make a mess of the bathroom, she won't be polite and will teach them a lesson, making them understand why the flowers are so red!

After drying their fur, Liu Shile carried the little kittens out of the farm and then went to sleep with them.

To be honest, it's really comfortable to hug this fluffy little kitten. Although it's summer, Liu Shile isn't afraid of the heat, so she doesn't feel much of a heat.
