The one who started the trouble was Koharu Tsurugi. Being old and frail, she valued hierarchy more than anyone else and was particularly intolerant of such subservience.

The feigned fear on Hinata Kaze's face was so fake that Koharu almost couldn't breathe.
"The village will never interfere with the change of clan leader without cause," Hiruzen Sarutobi said solemnly, his voice firm and resolute, exuding an aura of power as if he had returned to his peak condition.
"However, no one from the Hyuga main family has appeared, so we cannot prove that you have taken over as the clan leader based solely on your words."
"How can it be just one person? The entire Hyuga clan can testify to this."
Hyuga Kaze scanned the entire area, and all the Hyuga clan members who were looked at by him bowed respectfully and addressed him as clan leader.
Nodding in satisfaction, Hyuga Kaze looked at Sarutobi Hiruzen, "If that's not enough, Hinata and Hanabi can also testify. Lord Hiashi has already entrusted the two of them to me."
At the gate, two little girls nodded stiffly in agreement.
