In an instant, Kimimaro felt as if another brain had grown inside his head, and a strange power had entered his mind.
"Get out! This body exists for Lord Orochimaru, and you will not be allowed to defile it!"
Just as Shikamaru and the others thought the situation was settled and smiled, Kimimaro roared furiously as if he had been subjected to some extreme insult and provocation.

Kimimaro's body suddenly erupted with a series of thick, sharp bone spikes, which shot out violently, impacting everyone present. Some of the bone spikes hit the ground, causing it to twist and deform.

Shikamaru immediately realized that the shadow connecting him and the enemy had broken due to the deformation of the ground. Faced with the bone spikes shooting towards him, he had no choice but to give up on controlling the enemy again and roll around in a sorry state to avoid the attack.
At Shikamaru's reminder, everyone quickly moved away, and Ino, unable to move, was carried away from Kimimaro by Neji.
