Chapter 18 Hidden Clone Laying a Hidden Plan

While Danzo Shimura and Hiruzen Sarutobi were arguing, Koharu Utatane and Homura Mitokado temporarily assumed the duties of Hokage. They continuously assigned personnel in the office to strengthen patrols and defenses of Konoha, while also ordering the barrier team to closely inspect the condition of the barrier.

However, despite their best efforts, they ultimately gained nothing.

The various clans in the village, such as the Uchiha, Hyuga, Ino-Shika-Cho, Inuzuka, Aburame, and Hatake, were also filled with anxiety and had their own thoughts. However, after discussions among the clans and persuasion from the Anbu, they ultimately chose to stay indoors and remain silent about the disturbances from the outside world.

Behind this undercurrent, no one can say for sure how much suspicion, communication, investigation, or even schadenfreude and celebration there is. At least on the surface, it seems calm and peaceful.

As for civilian ninjas and ordinary villagers of Konoha, they couldn't cause any trouble. They could only obediently stay at home according to the village's notices and arrangements, not daring to overstep their bounds in the slightest.

However, everyone knows that the impact of this incident cannot be easily resolved, after all, the two parties involved in that shout of accusation and the content of it are simply too shocking!

Konoha is likely to be in chaos for a while.

After having a good time, Hinata Kaze used Hollow World Travel to quickly run home.

Later, Danzo Shimura and Hiruzen Sarutobi clashed, and even after the Konoha F4 reunited, they stayed up all night discussing and researching.

Ultimately, the decision was made to strengthen surveillance of the Uchiha clan, secretly spread information, stir up public opinion, and gradually weaken and vilify the image of the Uchiha clan. At the same time, efforts were made to convert doves like Uchiha Shisui. All of this had nothing to do with Hyuga Kaze.

After returning home, Hyuga Kaze quickly sorted out his spoils for the evening. His three ninja tool bags contained only a dozen or so kunai and shuriken, six explosive tags, and he didn't have a single penny on him. He was a complete pauper, even poorer than a child like himself.

Hyuga Kaze couldn't help but curse out loud: "Damn Shimura Danzo, he's utterly inhuman! You're so stingy, don't you even pay these poor Root ninjas? If your underlings are so poor, what future does the leader have!"

While seemingly complaining, Hinata Kaze was actually using the opportunity to relieve the nausea and tension surging within him.

He had lived in a peaceful era in his previous life, and had never even killed a chicken himself. After transmigrating to the ninja world, although he was mentally prepared...

Having seen corpses in the original owner's memories, he then deliberately bought chickens and ducks to slaughter himself, and even injured people during training, then treated them with medical ninjutsu, coming into close contact with bloody wounds.

But this is completely different from actually killing someone yourself; the fear, excitement, disgust, and other emotions are still unavoidable.

It's all the world's fault. I'm a sincere and kind person. It's the world that's sick, forcing children to go to the battlefield and kill.

With some of the blame shifted, Hinata Kaze's mindset stabilized a bit. He decided to create Blood Shadow Clones as a backup plan, which would also help divert his attention.

He came to the body of the Root ninja. The body had no visible wounds and looked peaceful.

Before taking action, Hyuga Kaze made a few words to put his mind at ease: "Congratulations, you've broken free from Danzo's dark control. You're free now. As for the rest of your body, I'll make the most of it."

After saying that, he began to create Blood Shadow clones according to the method given by the system.

This skill sounds like a shadow clone, but it is actually similar to the Blood God Child in the world of Xianxia. The creator drips special blood into a recently deceased corpse to transform it into a special clone that has no fatal weakness except for the blood in the control center.

This clone has a drop of blood inside it as the central point for control. As long as this central point is not destroyed, the Blood Shadow Clone can withstand severe injuries such as limb amputation and being cut in half at the waist without being damaged. The clone will only become ineffective when most of the body is destroyed or the stored chakra is exhausted.

The Blood Shadow Clone can inherit about 80% of its creator's overall physical attributes. It can also transmit senses, remotely control, and even communicate with the controller to switch locations. Its uses are simply too numerous to count.

Hyuga Kaze circulated his chakra, extracted a drop of blood essence from his body, and then began to imbue it with hundreds of cursed hand seals. This drop of blood essence was the core of the Blood Shadow Clone, and could not be taken lightly.

It took Hinata Kaze more than half an hour to complete all the spell seals and inject the drop of blood essence into the corpse on the ground. Next, the drop of blood essence will gradually transform the corpse, soaking and nurturing it into a blood shadow clone.

When essence enters the body, it's like a seed quietly taking root and sprouting, emitting a mysterious power that travels within the corpse. As time goes by, this drop of essence permeates every inch of the corpse's muscles, bones, and blood, weaving a dense, blood-red network.

Hyuga Kaze focused his mind and carefully channeled his chakra into the drop of blood essence. As the transformation progressed, he could feel the blood essence becoming active within the body, transforming it from a numb, lifeless entity into a clone that he could control with a single thought.

Three hours passed, and the corpse gradually regained its vitality under the transformation of the essence blood. The originally lifeless body now looked exactly like Hinata Kaze, brimming with life.

However, this newborn body was as still as wood when it was not being controlled, possessing only simple fighting instincts and devoid of any human emotional fluctuations.

Hyuga Kaze was quite satisfied with the mirror-like Blood Shadow clone opposite him. Although this clone lacked some of the overall physical attributes, it was not afraid of getting injured, fought fearlessly, and could be remotely controlled to unleash its taijutsu and ninjutsu.
