Chapter 251 Itachi Uchiha's End

In a desolate and dimly lit secret cave in the ninja world, Obito Uchiha and Black Zetsu were hiding, looking at each other in silence.

They had been using Kamui to track Itachi Uchiha, wanting to witness the final outcome for him and Sasuke. After all, Obito had always harbored reservations about Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan. Genjutsu-type Mangekyou Sharingan techniques were too effective against him. With Kamui, Obito was immune to most ninjutsu and secret techniques in the ninja world, but he could still be affected by Itachi's eye techniques at the moment of attack.

It is precisely because of this concern that Obito rarely appears where Itachi is.

At that time, Obito was actually near where Hyuga Kaze and the others had teleported. He was still feeling relieved that a major threat was about to be eliminated, but he didn't expect that there was someone else tracking Uchiha Itachi besides him. When Hyuga Kaze suddenly appeared with a large group of Uchiha clansmen, Obito was instantly startled because he felt that Hyuga Kaze's eyes seemed to glance in his direction.

Fortunately, Hyuga Kaze didn't linger and quickly led a group of Uchiha to track down Itachi, which relieved Obito. With Hyuga Kaze causing trouble, Obito initially wanted to leave, but he couldn't rest easy until he witnessed Itachi's death, so he suppressed his anxiety and continued the pursuit.

Obito initially believed that the Kamui dimension could shield everything, and that Hyuga Kaze's earlier glance was merely a coincidence. After all, his years of arrogance in the ninja world meant that he had rarely failed when using Kamui. So, at first, he still intended to continue watching Itachi Uchiha's final fate there. However, after Hyuga Kaze deliberately pointed out his presence, Obito's wishful thinking vanished completely.

He noticed that Hinata Kaze glanced in his direction as he spoke, but there was little intention in his eyes to attack. It was as if Hinata Kaze had already spotted him, and treated him like a filthy bug, showing no desire to bother with him.

At first, Obito was still not giving up. He suspected that it might be a coincidence, so he just kept a distance and kept observing Uchiha Itachi, cursing him to have his blood disease flare up and die soon, or better yet, to wear down more of Hyuga Kaze's manpower.

To Obito's surprise, the scene he witnessed today was incredibly awe-inspiring. Just watching Izumi and Itachi fight was enough to make him uneasy. The two of them used a variety of methods and schemes in their battle, making Obito realize how wicked their hearts were; he felt that even if he were to join the fray, he might easily be tricked.

Then there was Izumi Uchiha's Mangekyou Sharingan, its ability to freeze everything, which made Obito feel a chill even within the Kamui dimension. Obito even felt that if Izumi's ice-based eye technique were concentrated and unleashed in a small area, the icy power would truly freeze to the bone, possibly even affecting his Kamui movement and making it difficult to use smoothly. At that moment, Obito regretted leaving behind too many Uchiha clansmen; the Mangekyou Sharingan was simply too dangerous.

When Itachi's Tsukuyomi was later blocked and even deflected by Hyuga Kaze, Obito's apprehension intensified. That alone wasn't so bad; Obito still had some expectation of Hyuga Kaze's strength. However, the power of Hyuga Kaze's subsequent attacks far exceeded Obito's expectations, leaving him utterly ashen-faced.

That simple gesture almost possessed the same power as Madara Uchiha in Obito's memory. Even if Obito refused to admit it, he already knew in his heart that Hyuga Kaze's strength was far beyond his ability to contend with. Moreover, his initial plan to launch a sneak attack while Hyuga Kaze was fighting Itachi Uchiha must have been seen through long ago. Because when Hyuga Kaze crushed Itachi Uchiha's Susanoo giant, he even looked at Obito's location with a half-smile, and the mockery and killing intent revealed in his eyes sent chills down Obito's spine.

At that moment, Obito couldn't bother looking at Itachi anymore. He turned around and left, knowing that with this guy around, there was probably nothing he could do.

Several hours had passed since he encountered Hyuga Kaze, but Hyuga Kaze's last glance seemed to possess a magical power, constantly replaying in Obito's mind. Whenever Obito closed his eyes, he could see Hyuga Kaze coldly sneering at him with disdain.

"Hmph, Hyuga Kaze, I will never let you get away with this!"

Recalling Hyuga Kaze's disdainful gaze and the scene where he was tricked by impersonating Uchiha Tajima, Obito's anger burned fiercely. If he didn't still have a shred of reason, he would have wanted to retrieve the Rinnegan and kill that guy right now.

I wonder how Itachi Uchiha is doing. Because of Hyuga Kaze's threat, he only left one White Zetsu nearby to observe Itachi's final movements. Logically speaking, things should be over by now.

"How scary, how scary!"

Just as Obito was getting impatient, a white Zetsu popped out of the ground with a loud bang.

"Obito, Obito, Hyuga Kaze has arrived."

But he glanced at me as he left, so I'm sure he spotted me. And this guy is really strong; just a simple look at me made me feel like I was going to explode.

Bai Jue seemed to feel a little annoyed when he said this. He clapped his hands and said, "Oh dear, I should have followed him and asked him how it felt to defecate. He's so strong, he could definitely let me know how it feels."

Forgetting their anger at White Zetsu's ignorance, both Obito and Black Leg felt a sense of relief upon learning that Hyuga Kaze had left.

"Stop talking nonsense. How is Itachi Uchiha? And what about Sasuke Uchiha?"

Even though Hyuga Kaze should be long gone, Obito's heart is still a little conflicted when he thinks of that plague-like existence. The shadow that name now casts on him is no less than that of Kakashi.

"I just wanted to know what it feels like to poop!"

White Zetsu muttered something and continued, "Itachi fought very hard, but perhaps his previous injuries affected him, as he occasionally lost his composure during the fight. Later, Orochimaru suddenly emerged from Sasuke's body during the fight, only to be suddenly eliminated by Itachi. In the end, I saw Itachi point a finger at Sasuke's forehead, but he was too badly injured and had no energy left. Then Sasuke's eyes changed."

White Zetsu's words were incoherent, but Obito still understood them. Upon hearing that Uchiha Itachi was dead, Obito was completely relieved.

Now that Itachi Uchiha is dead and Hyuga Kaze has left, he can go find Sasuke Uchiha. Wasn't Itachi's elaborate scheme to die in front of Sasuke all to help him awaken the Mangekyou Sharingan? Sasuke, with his Mangekyou Sharingan awakened, can be both a threat and an ally.

Obito was confident that he could manipulate Sasuke with the information he had and make him act according to his own plan!
